In the meantime I went to Lisac's Tire for a quote, they said they could get the parts same day from local suppliers. Just before I went to Lisac, Les Schwab called to give me a quote. Same guy from the front desk, he said it would cost approximately $3,300.00 and they would not be able to get to it this week. All that money for presumably just rotors, brake pads, calipers, and labor. I told him I'd just go to Lisac. Lisac then completed the job in just a few hours for $319.00 and told me my calipers did not actually need to be replaced. I only asked for them because Les Schwab told me I needed them! Worst "service" I've ever had. Had my breaks done in July of 2025 and they squeaked and groaned…read moresince the day I picked my car back up from them. I was told this was "normal." Brought my car back 4 times to have the issue resolved, paid another $500 in services and the problem never went away. The last time I brought them in they forgot to tighten a bolt and I had no break pedal at all when I tried to stop. Luckily no car in front of me at stoplight or I would've smashed into them. Took my car to another shop in Butte where they told me I needed my breaks completely redone because they had charged me $900 for a "premium" break job and used the cheapest possible parts and they were no good. When Mark ran this shop it was a great place and you got what you paid for. Never again. New owners are crooks and put people in danger by putting them on the road in unsafe conditions. Go to Mick's. At least you leave feeling safe.
