Take 5 did not have functioning cameras.

My vehicle was destroyed! On 7/24/2024 at approximately 1 pm, I took my 2018 F-150 in for a standard oil change. I have been getting maintenance from Take 5 for years now. I trusted them. The day of my oil change, I was told to run my engine by the attendant. As I revved my engine, after being told to, my vehicle registered an engine low oil pressure alert. I let the attendant know what I saw and he said that they were working to fix it. After the oil change was complete and I drove out of the maintenance bay, my vehicle started stuttering and making noises I have never heard before. I thought it might have been the new engine coolant they put into it but I did not know. Later that day, my vehicle died in the middle of the road. I was towed by a neighbor to my home. The following day I filed a claim with Take 5's Fleet Response and they took my vehicle to Canton Ford. I asked for video of my vehicle being serviced, but the Take 5 manager said that their cameras were not working from July 19th to July 24th. A whole month later, my claim was denied. Canton Ford believed the Take 5 attendant told me to run my engine, without any oil in it, and this is what caused my truck to register an engine low oil pressure alert. Canton Ford also wrote that my vehicle had 2 extra quarts of oil in it! Canton Ford believed that the Take 5 attendants quickly rushed to put oil in my vehicle, after they had me run my engine without any oil in it, which is why my vehicle was 2 quarts of oil over! Canton Ford also provided me with documents showing that my vehicle registered an engine low oil pressure at 1:04pm and I have a receipt showing that my "service" was complete at 1:06pm. Canton Ford also provided me with a calendar showing that my vehicle registered no other engine related codes until the day of my "service." I will provide a couple of screenshots to support what I am saying. I strongly recommend to not do business with Take 5.

They take 45mins to an hour for 1 oil change. Should change name to "Take 1hr" absolutely the worst

I scheduled a 9:00 a.m. appointment online to have my vehicle diagnosed and receive an oil change…read more When I arrived, Justin informed me that scheduling the appointment online wasn't enough and that I also needed to call ahead. That requirement wasn't communicated during the online scheduling process, so it was confusing and frustrating. I was then told it would take 7-10 days just to diagnose my vehicle. That completely defeats the purpose of scheduling an appointment. I was still told it would be over a week before anyone could look at it. Your website advertises "fast and reliable service," but my experience was anything but that. Being told it takes 7-10 days just to diagnose a vehicle because there isn't enough staff is disappointing, especially for a Ford dealership. Staffing issues should not become the customer's problem after an appointment has already been scheduled. I chose your dealership because it's close to where I live, but based on this experience, your service department did not meet my expectations. Had I taken my truck to WRay Ford in Bossier, I believe the diagnosis and oil change would likely have been completed the same day

Took our truck in for electrical issues. We spent a fortune in Georgia at a Ford dealership there…read moreand they did not find the problem. Not only did All Star find and fix the issue they were very reasonably priced, far cheaper than I thought and delivered my truck to me when it was fixed! Highly recommend this dealership. Also working with Melissa in the service department was great- she's friendly, helpful and kept us informed. I forgot to check in the last few times I've been in, but all the guys in the service department I've dealt with are great!
