College son went on April 25th for NC Inspection. For some reason, they looked at many components of the car that had nothing to do with the inspection. When my son authorized verbally, please only fix what is necessary to pass the inspection. They continued with replacing shocks, struts , air filters for engine and cabin, and flushed the Power steering fluid. None of which should've been necessary. Again, he requested only fix what's necessary to pass the inspection. That would've been limited to a tail light, And the $23 charge for the North Carolina inspection. He left with a $900 bill. Seems predatory to me, and they took extreme advantage of someone who has very little mechanical aptitude or experience with auto service. To be continued..... I have requested to speak with a regional manager. Current manager was reluctant to give me his regional manager's information. To be determined! I would admit to being very upset with them and being very direct. But it seems to me like Robert (hung up on me) Alan, and Ryan we're all very reluctant too engage in any level of understanding of the dilemma. In fact, Robert even suggested that the items were discounted and that we should be happy with that! It would be laughable if this was a Burger King order. It's not. It's $900 Robert. You sold many things that were unauthorized and unnecessary. What do you think? Would any of you go here at all? I think there is common ownership in multiple locations in Greensboro. brought my car to get a lug nut out so i can replace my tires, they said it was a 1 hour job for $135 which is crazy considering the fact it only took them 20 min to finish, not only did it take 20 min to finish but they had me waiting 3 hours for a call but only to find out they couldnt call me because the dude's fingers were wet and was smudging the screen making it impossible for him to call but i clearly saw him on the phone in the back so im guessing his fingers werent wet enough to make that phone call read more

I used to work at this location for over 6 years and the customer service has just went to h***. I purchased a Groupon this morning so stop by this location to redeem It. The CSA that greeted me an older blonde whose name I didn't get was just very rude. She asked me what type of oil I took which I told her but her responses to me were very short and stand offish. The final straw for me is when I asked her if they could clean the inside of my windows along with the exterior and she says to me she would think about it. She escorted me to the lobby and the couple of minutes I was in there I was thinking about our encounter and just decided to go to another location because I didn't care for her or her attitude. I came for a reinspect state inspection and I waited over an hr for them to check my 2 front tires that I replaced and there only 2 other customers there so no need for the wait. Great service, they were very efficient. We were there to get out vehicle inspected for renewal registration. We arrived with several cars ahead of us, when they got to our car the tech told us we needed to drive about 40 miles so the computer could reset since we had just put in a new battery, it was about 1/2 before they closed. Instead of telling us to come back tomorrow he said he would wait for us to come back, it took us 45 minutes and they waited. This was a very great service! Thanks Jiffy Lube. read more

Came in for an oil change a few months ago and the manager, Amy, let me know that my starter needed to be replaced. She also brought to my attention how much oil was leaking and that I needed to replace the oil pan gasket too. The staff here went above and beyond for me. I had gotten my air filter changed at the Chapel Hill location, and they didn't put a new filter in. When my check engine light went on when I got back to Greensboro, I went here to get it checked out. The staff were so helpful. Even though they didn't have a filter in stock, they called around and got one delivered for me in less than a half hour. Even though they were busy, they continually checked in with me and gave me updates. I am really happy I decided to go here, and I wish I would have gone to this location in the first place! read more

Horrible service. Yes, you get what you pay for and where you go. It was convenient at the time. Not my normal service provider. They over filled the oil (how does that happen) and no discount for me having to wait. No more Jiffy Lubes even if it is convenient. I recommend Pep Boys (at least in Raleigh). read more

Took car for oil change and windshield wiper fluid. Guys comes out says ok great I'll do that for u and takes my keys. Time goes by and he comes back takes my money points to my car and says "It's all ready for you have a nice day". I go to my car and try to turn on my windshield wiper to kinda clean the windshield and nothing happens. I get his attention and say bruh u forgot about u windshield wiper fluid in it he goes "okay sorry about that" and proceeds to fill it up in front of me. I go home and my dash tells me "Need Oil Soon". Long story short this guy took my keys, did nothing to my car, put a sticker on it as if he put oil in it and gave me back my keys with a smile read more

Michelle and the guys were all great and friendly! I called ahead about an inspection and was told to come on over. Michelle assisted me and was wonderful. She called me outside to show me that my back rotors were shot and wouldn't pass inspection. She also said I needed new tires (which I knew because the ones on the car were 2006). She took the time to show me several brands and then I picked ones they didn't have. She offered to keep and garage my car until the tires came in then called me when everything was done on the car including the tires to come pick it up. She is very customer focused and loves what she does. She's a breath of fresh air and now I will take all my cars up there to her. Great team of people in this store who care! I have a fleet vehicle & am in this location often. I noticed I had a slow leak in my tire. They asked if I wanted to replace the tire or just patch/repair it. I opted for the repair. The next day, my tire was flat. The manager, Laura Armstrong, personally came to my rescue! She came to my house & put on the spare tire herself! Then she went to get me a replacement tire. They went above & beyond! They are always friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. Let me start off with, if I could give this place no stars that would be great. I was so disappointed with the way that they handled my car. I went in for a normal routine oil change and came out with a disaster. The service person brought in my cabin air filter which was weird to me since you don't need to remove that to do an oil change. I told them I didn't want it replaced and it needed to be out back in the car. I found it odd since this was inside my car and no obstructing the oil filter. When my car was done, I left the jiffy lube and drove for 10 seconds and my car was vibrating when I put the air on and the maintenance like was not reset. I turned around and came back and was told that stuff had fallen in the blower and was being hit by the fan and that the mechanic had forgotten to reset the light. The manager tried to tell me that there was stuff in the blower already and that was what was causing the problem. I find this obnoxious and untruthful since my car was perfectly fine when I entered the station. Also they should not have removed this part of my car without my consent since all I asked for was an oil change. The manager gave me a free oil change for the inconvenience and he also pulled something out of the blower. He assured he that it was fixed but when I turned out of the parking lot and turned the air on the problem was still there. I was so frustrated at this point, I called the shop and told them again about the problem. The manager said that he did not cause the problem and he look at it again. At this point, my trust in this shop was non existent and I was not letting them touch my car again due to the fact that I didn't want to have my car damaged. I definitely will not be returning to this establishment and recommend that others do not go there to get their car fixed. read more

The kind gentlemen who serviced my car were very kind, efficient and polite. They did a great job on my car but the only reason I took one star off is due to the black smudged fingerprints on my beige leather seats. This could just be from lack of awareness, which makes me not at all mad. I've gotten my car and my boyfriend's car serviced by this Jiffy Lube a few times and have not been let down. They are fast, friendly, they don't pressure you to buy anything to get unneeded repairs, they give you an estimate of the amount of time that you are going to be there and they have enough staff to run the place. I also really like bringing my car here because of the little extras that they throw in when you get an oil change: windows get washed, vacuum the inside, top off the fluids, check the tire pressure and fill those if needed. I'm sure there's somethings that I am missing, but it's great for someone with a busy schedule who doesn't have time to do all that. I wouldn't really have the time to do all of this myself unless I scheduled it. Here, I'm in and out in less than 30 minutes, sometimes 20. Also, they tell me the things that my car needs (the manufacturers recommendations) and I wouldn't know those things unless they tell me. :) I only have one negative thing to say, they are pricey. This place is okay! I found the staff to be friendly and they get the job done. I find Jiffy Lube in general to be a little more pricey than some other oil change places I've visited. I didn't realize that they vacuum out your car as well. For me, this little fact was very much appreciated. I never have time to do it and my car was--well-- it was rather messy. :) Oh, if they ask to fix the crack in your windshield, don't let them! It's easy at that moment to just let them do it, but later a random third-party company will call you up wanting to bill your auto insurance. Overall, I'll go back to Jiffy Lube in the future. read more

This place ruined my car. I am waited for over an hour to get my oil changed due to the employee having to drive to an auto parts store to get a drain plug. When driving to see my parents shorty after, the oil light comes on. I take it to a different jiffy lube and they insist I go back younger other store. I get there and I sense they were trying close early and the mechanic says it fine and the repairs can wait. The noise sounds awful the next day so I can go back. The employee can't the even look me in the eye when he gives me vague explanation of what is wrong. I give up and go to the dealership only to find out that was engine was blown due to no oil. This is a truly incompetent and dishonest business. read more

After going to 5 different places to get my headlight changed, I called Jiffy Lube and they said come on over. They were so sweet on the phone and were so accommodating!
