They didn't put parts back on our cars on two separate occasions. They lost my husband's coolant cap (a $100 product for his make/model car) and never reattached my splash guard (also a new and over $100 product for my make/model car). These parts were discovered to be missing at later service dates. This was working with Danel as the safety head both times. They discovered that they were the ones who last exchanged the coolant on my husband's car. Not only was the coolant cap missing, but he had no coolant in his engine after the previous service and was driving around with no coolant. They realized this huge mistake did not refund him, offer a replacement or discount, and told us to "go to the nearest AutoZone immediately". The part was literally over $100 and they did not have it in stock at 3 separate AutoZones. I came back months later and they had my splash guard...but never called me or told me they had it!? Also, when we called they said the manager would be in the following day and was not when I came to collect my splash guard and get it re attached. Serviceman Mark did not reattach it correctly and it came down on the turnpike and was dragging on the road and we had to rip it off at an emergency stop. These were not two separate egregious mistakes. Horrible customer service. Absolutely DO NOT GO HERE. Would give zero stars if I could. read more

This place rocks my socks!! Came here because Conrad's was booked and I really needed an oil change. Saw this on yelp and saw how close it was, so I figure why not. The assistant manager took care of my friend and I whole we were getting my oil change and he helped me feel like I was truly being taken cared of. I didn't have to get out of my car at all which was awesome!! Service is fast and pretty reasonably priced. They topped off all my fluids too!!! The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I came in to change my sons oil and left in tears. A man named Sean was degrading , rude I was just in shock to the things he was saying to me. I hope the owner can watch a video of how I was treated. I asked to speak with the manager and I was told that he Sean was the manager. At the end I just said I would like to take my car somewhere else for my oil change . Sean stated you can't I already drained your oil. I had no choice but to get my oil changed there. So before anyone discussed pricing with me my oil was already drained therefore forcing me to get my oil changed at this location.My previous oil change on my sons car was done at take five in Strongsville wonderful customer service had no issues. Have been here multiple times for oil changes. They're always really friendly. They offer a bottled water upon arrival. They always tell me what they're going to check (e.g. tire pressure, air filter, windshield wipers), and they're honest about whether or not I need to replace anything. One time I opted for the second highest oil change option, but they were all out of that type of oil. Instead of automatically downgrading me, they gave me the highest oil option and they honored the price of the second highest option. Highly recommended. read more

On January 9, 2023, I went to the Broadview Road, Parma location to get an oil change. When I got there the service guy immediately opened my hood and took the oil cap off. At the same time, the girl was taking my info. When I found out it would cost $100 for an oil change, I said to stop because I didn't have that much money with me. I didn't think it would cost that much for an oil change. When I said stop, the guy immediately closed the hood. My car sounded funny and I saw smoke while I was driving home. When I got home I tried opening the hood. It wouldn't open. I looked inside and the oil cap was stuck under the latch. I was able to remove the cap by pushing it away, but the hood still wouldn't open. The latch broke. It broke because the service guy closed the hood on the cap where the latch is. I finally got the hood open with the help of a friend by manually pulling on the hook that attaches to the latch. There was oil all over the engine. I have pictures of all of this. Before any work was done, I should have been notified of the price and paperwork signed (or an electric signature). Someone finally contacted me about a week later...after my numerous phone calls and emails. The manager asked me to send him the pictures. I did, and he said he sent them to corporate to file a claim. Now it has been 2 weeks since the incident and nothing has been resolved. I haven't been contacted by anyone since I sent the pictures. This is beyond unprofessional and Take5 should be held accountable to fix the latch that they broke due to their negligence. If there was an option for zero stars, that's the rating I would give. read more

I hit a curb and the plastic part of my front bumper ripped/popped out. I parked in the back lot and before a minute had passed, an employee came out with two bottles of water and asked me what he could do to help. Within fifteen minutes they had fixed my car AND cleaned my windshield AND offered to check my tires. On top of it all, he wasn't going to charge me. I gave him a $10 anyway and he split it with his coworker. They were so nice and efficient. What could've been a horribly stressful situation for me was actually pleasant. I went to the location on Broadview Rd right next to my home. The service was fast but the customer service was unsatisfactory. Every time I come they can scan my VIN and have to retype my information which is a inconvenience. Also I have been getting the same oil change for over a year the service person Aaron tells me the manufacturer does recommend the GTX oil change and I will need to sign a waiver. He also tells me he doesn't care about the past we are talking about here and now. Which was very rude. I will not be back due to the poor customer service. Be very wary here of a possible scam! I used to be a regular, happy customer here but I will NEVER go back. I believe that a couple of the guys may be trying to run a scam on unwary customers: They tell you that there is something terribly wrong with your car and you should go to the guy next door right away, "he does oil changes too!". I went in the evening of 2/20 for an oil change. Charles was the cashier and Nick was the technician and manager--a third guy was there but he was pretty silent. They alerted me to the "huge hole in your air intake hose!". I acknowledged that I noticed it a month or so before. Charles suggested that we stop the oil change and I go straight next door to Joe's and have him take care of it. I declined, "No, I am way overdue. Just do the oil change, I'll get the hose fixed later." Charles was so insistent that I stop the oil change and go next door, "He does oil changes too!", that I suspected a scam...even before he and Nick began the next phase of their scam. They claimed that I was leaking coolant from the air intake hose!! I don't know a lot about cars but I know that the air intake hose has NOTHING to do with the coolant!! Nick said, "I tried adding coolant because you were low but everything I put in just spilled out of that hose onto the floor!". I asked to see the hose that he was talking about--maybe it was a radiator hose but he just called it the wrong thing. But they said that I had to stay in the car for liability reasons--the only thing they said that was believable! So Nick took a picture with my phone. Sure enough, he took a pic of the air intake hose!! I laughed and asked a couple questions to see if they'd keep up with the BS: "So I'm leaking antifreeze?" Both confirm. "That's funny, I don't see anything at all in the drive where I park the car." "That's because the hole is so big, the coolant just all ran out!", Charles claimed. "So I have no coolant in my car at all??" I was actually laughing out loud, but they just kept up the ruse. "No, you have zero coolant in your car.", Nick says, "The coolant I just put in is all over my floor down there." "But I noticed that hole over a month ago when I popped the hood to put in washer fluid. I've driven a lot since then, even to Youngstown and back...several times. If there's no coolant, why hasn't the car overheated?" "That's because it's been so cold outside!", Charles exclaimed while Nick chimed in, "When it warms up, your car will overheat!" Really...I don't think that ANY one is that stupid to believe that! And even if someone was...SHAME ON YOU for even trying to take advantage of them. Then it was Nick that insisted that I go next door, "...he'll take good care of you." "Yeah", I thought, "and I'm sure that he'll take good care of you too.". But I just said, "I have my own guy. Just please do the oil change, it's way overdue.". It was WAY overdue or I would have just left. I went back the next morning figuring that a higher manager would be there. When Mike--another manager--came out, I told him that I was a regular customer and asked if he could check my coolant level because someone told me that it was leaking. He said, "Actually, your coolant is overfilled. That's not dangerous or anything but....". I got out of the car and pointed to the air intake hose and asked, "This is my air intake hose, right?". He answered, "Yes, it is." and we both laughed when he pointed out the huge hole in it. Then I asked, "What does this hose have to do with my coolant?", to which he replied, "It doesn't have anything to do with your coolant.". I then explained the scam his guys at night were running. It seemed to be in good faith when he tried to assure me that it had to have been a misunderstanding. But that really just got me more annoyed. The district manager, Chris Reed, happened over when he surmised that I was unhappy. After explaining what happened, he offered to "make it right" by doing the following: 1. Redo the oil change to be sure that it was done right and to get the coolant to the proper level. 2. If possible, order the car's air intake hose and install it. 3. Refund my debit card for the original oil change. They immediately redid the oil change at no additional charge. Great, thanks. I have heard NOTHING about the hose. To be fair, Chris said that he may not be able to take care of the hose. But I would have expected a call at least to say, "Sorry, we can't do the hose.". I have received NO REFUND! It has been over a week now! When the refund didn't show the next day, I called Chris. He did call right back and said, "give it till Monday". I gave it till Wednesday and called again--he called back to say, "he'll look into it". I contacted my bank, if it were issued like he said, it would have been credited by now. I just hope that my complaint has stopped them from trying to run this scam on anyone else. read more
