Total cost for two burned out light bulbs and labor, $20.00. Another time my wife's front headlights and casings were getting glazed over from years of wear. I also ordered a serpentine belt, an oil filter, and a jug of Mobile One. Paul's Auto Service had been recommended to me by a couple different people and I called to see if they would have a problem with me bringing my own parts and fluids, because some shops definitely don't like if you bring your own parts due to the mark up the shops charge for parts, so if you bring your own they don't get that money. Julie at Paul's said it wouldn't be a problem at all if I brought my own parts, so I got a quote and made an appointment. I dropped off the van and the keys a few days later right before they closed so they would have it to work on right away the next morning. They open at 8 AM and five hours later the van was done. When I went to pick her up they gave me all the old parts and Rob pointed out some wear and corrosion on the water pump and the tensioner that made me glad that I had taken care of this sooner rather than later. The price I was charged was a couple hundred dollars less than another shop in town that I had considered, and it was $1000 less than the Honda dealership in town quoted me. For me, getting automobile service work done is like going to the dentist. I dread it, but Greg the owner, (I don't know who Paul is or was, maybe Greg's dad) his wife Julie, and Rob the other mechanic were so nice and friendly and understanding and and it just couldn't have been a better experience. A very reasonable labor charge, a fast and reliable turnaround as promised, honesty, integrity, and such friendly service. I was a first-time customer, but they made me feel like I had been bringing my vehicles there for years. I am so happy to know where I WILL be bringing my vehicle for any and all service needs in the future.

Mike's Repair looked well reviewed so I took a chance on them. Turns out they are awesome too! I appreciated that when I called someone picked up right away in the evening and got me scheduled for first thing the next morning. Car was fixed the same day. Price was reasonable. A bit more than I'm used to, but I know the guy I used to go to was really giving me a sweetheart deal. I think Mike's gave me good value for the money I paid. I have 240k+ miles on this Civic of mine and it just keeps chugging along. So I'm sure I'll be back to Mike's as it needs more work. I'll definitely return!

I had a timing chain go out on my Ford 150. Brought it into their Sartell location and they fixed…read moreit. Took them 3 days to do because they had to keep ordering parts. Once it was finally complete, it broke before I even got home. They had to fix it again. After that, I immediately had an oil leak and had to have that fixed. Next visit, they said I had another oil leak but I had already paid over $5000 to them for the other repairs and could not afford it at that time. I then started to have a large pool of oil on my garage floor so I had to borrow money to get the second oil leak fixed. When I bought it in, they said they couldn't find a leak and argued with me because I was somehow stupid for thinking a large pool of oil on my garage floor would be from a leak and they had already told me on a previous visit there in fact was a leak. Brought it back a week later and then they said there in fact was a leak. More money for those visits. I spent over $3000 to have oil leaks fixed which I am pretty sure were related to their terrible work on the timing chain. I no longer go there after years of service. Better off going to a dealer since they charge the same amount. When I spoke to the manager, he did not care. Just writes to me "Have a good day."

They said, "NO".... it's amazing that Granite City tire and auto is NOT willing to take even $50 off a bill in order To be competitive in the area... Can tell you that they have lost a customer for LIFE! And I will NEVER refer anyone to this establishment again. The service drivers are very excellent and the advisor named Sharmeta was very kindly to proceed, helping me get through the rest of my service while picking up my car they will get over on you. They will overprice you and the technicians are not honest and do not keep their word they covered up their tracks just to get more money from me, I spoke with the tech manager, Brian he was the same way not a trustworthy man. They do not keep their word and they do not treat customers as well to make sure that they are fair and doing the right thing for us customers. I really advise you guys to really take my review in consideration Nathan Kieffer was such a A hole towards me the entire time of him being in my advisor he kept throwing sarcasm jabs and would talk over me without understanding me. The area by the rear brake lights and license plate never gets cleaned. Cancelled it in the fall. They ran a valentine's promotion just in the last week here where it was "buy one get one" if you bought their most expensive wash through their website. Upon checking out online with the promo code I only got one wash, not two. Emailed their customer service. EXTREMELY SLOW response time. Took them 4 days to respond to their email and their only suggestion was basically "are you sure you read the whole email receipt and scrolled down to the bottom to find your code?" That's it. That's what they had to say about it. Of course I did. Terrible response. Replied with a PDF copy of the original email showing only one wash code, waited another two days. Rep said the promo code didn't work or come through on the order somehow so I'm just out of luck. Won't be back. The wash isn't that great and the customer service is SLOW and TERRIBLE.
