I took my car to Take 5 for an oil change for the first time after hearing about it from friends and siblings in Missouri. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. After the service, I drove home, and my friend checked my engine... it was covered in oil. I felt like I was baited and switched. Without a coupon, the service cost me $103 with taxes. Next month I will take my car to Walmart which they're affordable. Not bad for 10 minutes, but I do not recommend Take 5. read more

This was my first time getting an oil change at Take 5, and unfortunately, it will be my last. After the service, I went to the store and then headed home. The next day, I noticed oil all over my driveway. I brought my car back to have it inspected, and while the staff confirmed the cap was secure, there was oil all over my engine. I've been using Take 5 Oil Change for years. Normally the service is quick. This morning though it has taken 45 minutes and counting. The techs are positive and friendly. Free water, CapriSun it's a quick fast in and out service! You stay in the vehicle and pull in. They change oil and check tire pressure. Top off all liquids except brake fluid. I didn't notice a lobby as this is pull in and pull out. Definitely waited 10min for my turn as me and another car pulled in the same time. I was traveling through Tulsa and needed an oil change. I usually go to Valvoline and pay $45 but Tulsa doesn't have one. When I arrived they where working on one car and I entered the second lane. I immediately noticed the prices are extremely high. I sat in the heat for about 10mins before they began. I notice a guy just standing watching the others work, he was just vaping. Liar Liar, pants on fire. I came by today to get an oil change and had to pee so as I pulled up and got out of my car the attendant asked me to stay in my car. I said, "I am just going in to use your restroom." The attendant lied to me and said, "we don't have a restroom." So I questioned him and he said,"we don't have a restroom," I told him, "Don't lie to me. So I am to believe that you guys hold it all day long. I don't like being lied so I got back into my car and went to Precision Auto on 51st and Mingo. They had a very clean restroom and a comfortable waiting room with 5 or 6 customers waiting. Very busy and polite staff. From the comments on this review page, it looks like this business is going to fail with such poor customer service. I think I will never go back to Take 5 again. I'm very disappointed/dissatisfied with this company as a whole. I had a horrific experience with take 5 oil change. Here's my experience. I went for a routine oil change. Being new to the Tulsa area, I had been searching for a great reliable shop to service my vehicle. I take pride in my vehicle so I like to keep up with my maintenance. It gets me to work and it's a tool I use to stay a productive citizen. Unfortunately Take 5 did not do a good job. Thy forgot to seal the oil filter which led to major drainage of oil from the time I left the location/ when I ran my errands all the way home. I noticed the drainage when i got home and heard my engine running ruff and as I stared at the big spill of oil under my car. I called take 5 and I talked to the manager and he instructed me to drive it back to the shop. I told him I didn't feel comfortable driving it. I asked him to get a tow being they had obviously not done their job correctly. He told me he would have to talk to his manager. He called me 5 mins later and told me he would like to come down to my house to assess the problem and he led me to believe they were going to Tow my vehicle to the shop and "take care" of everything. 30 mins later 2 gentlemen from take 5 came in a van and asked if they could assess the vehicle. They started to work on the vehicle in front my house leaving a bigger mess than there was before. I told the gentleman maybe they should work on my vehicle at there shop where they had the proper space to work on my vehicle and they continued to work. After they had removed my oil filter they left and told me they were going to get my car towed to their shop and get me a rental because it was during the weekend they left. 2 days later I got a call from take 5 manager. We discussed what had happened he apologized but told me I would get no refund and no tow... not even a check up at their shop because they had completed the job. He also told me that the company did good by me for even going to my house and working on it there. I'm a dissatisfied customer I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

While putting my oil cap back on the bumper a coolant line and broke it. They had to go get a part from the store. So I patiently waited in my broken car (they broke) in the 30 degree garage for an hour and a half while they went to get this part. Came back and literally said "we're going to take care of all this today you don't have to worry about it" great I would think not! He was talking about the part they broke! He then proceeded to charge me full price, including the air filter I did not have installed, and didn't offer any sort of discount for my trouble. I was informed that they were out of the oil on the coupon because of a Big Sale they just had, and I would have to pay more to upgrade to oil they had on hand. I told them they should automatically upgrade me since it was their fault and not mine. The clerk slammed the bar code reader on the desk and got the manager. I went there on feb 2 and today is march 12th and my car is saying it needs an oil change.
