I have been going to Greg's for about 15 years but will never go back and everyone that I once…read morereferred there have all had horrible experiences. They used to be great, the staff in the office was great, Cody and Greg were great, and the repairs were good. The past 2 years however, the place has gone downhill horribly. The office staff is now rude and openly lies to customers (see below) while the repairs have not been done to any kind of standard. They no longer stand by their work. Here are some highlights of the past 2 years: 1) Took my daughters car in and was told it would be done the next day when a part came in. 2 days passed and we called to inquire was told the part would be in the next day. 2 more days pass and we called to be told the part would be in that day and the car repaired, but it wasn't. The next day we were told the part they received was wrong and so they had to wait for a new part. The office staff lied to us repeatedly over a period of 5 days. 2) Took my sisters car in for new shocks. 13 months, and just 8K miles later, the shocks were totally bad. They said "too bad" the warranty is expired and wanted the same amount to replace the shocks. She is 70 years old and only drives to the store and doctor appointments. Shocks should last 50K miles at least. 3) Took my son's car in for a gas purge valve replacement. Paid over $1000 and within 2 months the valve no longer worked. My son was so angry at Greg's that he didn't tell me until many months later. I called Greg's and once again was told "too bad". It is unfortunate that they are such a lousy place now with no integrity when they were once a really good place. I no longer recommend Greg's auto to anyone for any service.

I had a nail in my tire and it had a slow leak…read more I went online and scheduled an appointment which was super easy. I was greeted promptly when I arrived, and they gave me an approximate time when it would be completed. They walked around the vehicle, checked tread depths and sizes of the tires and said it would be done in 45 minutes. It seemed like I just sat down and they were completed in about 25 minutes and the place was very busy. The employees are very friendly and the best part the repair was free. There was absolutely no pressure to buy new tires and they explained on a chart about your wear and approximate mileage left before needing replacement. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Our experience was absolutely horrible. We took our 09 Toyota Highlander to Cartec this morning for…read morea free inspection (to continue the inspection the needed to replace the valve cover gasket for $330) because our car kept dying when we would come to a stop, we gave them our car for 3 hours and then got a call back from a lady who said that the total would now be $550 because they broke a solenoid that was "frozen in the head of the engine" instead of calling us before they decided it would just be better to break it out. On the phone since they decided they wanted us to pay for it we decided it would be smarter on our end to threaten to take them to court because we're not paying for a part that you broke without asking, Jerry (the owner) said on the phone that he would get the costs covered and he would message us when they are done with the car. Once we arrived to pickup our car the battery light was on (it wasn't before) and they still made us pay the $330 for the valve cover gasket. We left, went home, opened the hood of our car to see that the alternator was not even connected to the car anymore and the bolt was gone, the cover on the top of the battery was just sitting on the side, and the alternator wire was covered in a bunch of electrical tape. So, we take it back to get our alternator hooked back up and Jerry was being very unethical and not understanding at all about the fact that they left our car like that. He finally found a bolt that fits, after trying 3 other ones of which fell into our engine bay, and then sent us on our way.
