I got a call about an hour after the truck had arrived to tell me everything the truck needed: the must-dos and the should-dos. There was no hard sell on any of the items and I was given a great explanation of why each was needed and whether the work was needed asap or could wait. I agreed to most of the work and got my truck back within 24 hours. I'll be taking my truck back for the remaining maintenance work later this year.

I called Midas on 11th st and Talked with Alicia, Immediately, she said, No worries, I know how to deal with the warranty places, I know what they need to file a claim. Im really Good at this..(understatement). That really eased my mind. Left my car and within an hour or so, Alicia called, gave me a run down of the issues and not only that she had already contacted the warranty place and they agreed to fix the issues. I want to add that an inspector came out within a couple of days and found the same issues as Midas did. I was really glad to hear that. Don't Trust This Midas!! I have used this midas for basic…read moreoil change and repair for the last couple years, but the service has completely tanked. In particular, they completely tried to screw me over on a recent repair. They tried to tell me that three major components went out all at the same time and all needed replaced which amounted to a few thousand dollars. After getting into a complete argument with both the manager and front desk person, I left and found a real mechanic down the street. He saw the same dummy lights that triggered midas, but then you did a further test and found all three of the pieces that midas wanted to replace were in good working order. He then found a wire harness that had triggered all of the dummy lights, replaced it, and the car is running like new. The midas crew not only showed their incompetence as mechanics, but they also showed there incompetence in customer service and support. I will never go back, I am telling everyone I know that they should not go there. I'm also advising you to drive on and don't waste your time, or more accurately, don't waste your money her. Ps, I'm a grown man and they were trying to fill me full of garbage. Luckily, I know a little about cars and understood how ludacris their repair suggestions were. If you're not comfortable going to a mechanic and have trust issues with mechanics to begin with, then I would highly recommend avoiding this place.

I always preferred the small, independent tire dealers after that and loved going to Bill's Tire that was at 15th and Sheridan. I fumbled around with the big boys for a bit (i.e. Goodyear) until we had an issue with my son's Honda Civic. They referred me to Dino and I've been in tire heaven since!! Honest, reliable, and they do great work!! Take your quote in from the big guys and I'd be willing to bet that Dino can beat it like a drum!! I have witnessed this more than once!!

I had electrical issues with a used Nissan. I had it in 3 different shops and spent almost 2000 dollars trying to get it repaired. The dealer ship wanted 4000k to repair it, and had the wrong diagnosis. Other shops told me to replace the ECM, sensors and wiring harnesses. Mike found the problem after one day- it turned out to be a short in a connector. The car runs great now!! I wish I would have known about this mechanic before I spend 2000 grand in the other 3 shops. Very knowledgeable and skilled mechanics, but also very honest.
