DO NOT RECOMMEND. Our experience? TERRIBLE. We were enticed by the price and then everything went downhill from there. Good prices (too good to be true? But still spent a lot of money as it an expensive decision!), fine/poor installation (the edges don't line up totally and the caulking is coming apart less than a year after installation, outlet covers didn't fit back on without coming back to fix. They did line up the veins between slabs beautifully), terrible customer service. Overall, I second many of the difficult experiences some of the other reviews on here share. They damaged a few things in our home (hardwood floor, oven vent, chip on their newly installed counter, left the suction marks on the back splash- all of which we had to point out to them and/or provide proof they made the damage). Everything got fixed (because we wouldn't pay in full until everything got fixed) but we had to constantly reach out and fight for it. We started following up calls with texting and emailing to ensure everything was in writing. Every time we called, he would start the call with, "who is this?" after we had already shared our name. And then he told he did us a favor by fixing his mistakes. It took literally months after installation for everything to be squared away. To top it off, it hasn't been a year since we had our counters installed and we are working this weekend to re-caulk all of it. Whether that is normal or not- we're not sure (we don't think so?), but with the experience we had throughout the process, it feels like another hurdle at this point. BEWARE. DANGER. DON't THESE GUYS. Do not give them a deposit. I gave Augustine $8500 deposit. My customer decided to replace their entire kitchen. They said they would return the deposit for over a year. When I asked about it for the 10th time last week. Augustine told me to get an attorney & sue him. He did several jobs for me in the past, but I will never use him again. I have been getting quotes that are 1/2 his price. My wife, and I, chose to have granite installed in our kitchen, laundry room, and downstairs bathroom. After several estimates from different companies we chose Take Me 4 Granite. I did notice there were negative reviews on Yelp; however, several of my friends have used Take Me 4 Granite and were extremely happy with their work and after meeting Augustine, the owner, and talking to him over several occasions we chose to hire them for our granite install. We are so very happy we did!! This company did amazing work and we can't be more happy with the workmanship and the customer service! Because this is the small company my many questions were answered by the owner and I had many many questions as this was our first adventure in granite. He provided me contact information which included his office number and cell phone number and I was always able to speak with him promptly. The prices were comparable to other estimates we received and once we chose our granite we paid a down payment, about 2/3 of the total price, and our install occurred in two weeks! That is a very fast turnaround as we were told by other companies 4-6 weeks would be our wait time. We paid the remainder of the estimate on the day of install after we inspected the work and were satisfied. The agreed upon estimate is exactly what I paid, no up charge of any kind. On the day of installation the installers, who were actual Take Me 4 Granite employees (not subcontractors), were professional, respectful of our house, and cleaned up any mess that was created. Augustine, the owner, also stopped by to lend a hand and to make sure all was going as planned. My wife was brought to tears of happiness after it was complete and that's the level of satisfaction we have! STAY AWAY!!!! Augustine, the owner is a headache to deal with. We went in and got a estimate for granite top with backsplash at $2500. $1700 deposit was made. Measurement was scheduled at the following Monday. Since I wanted a new undermount sink, he asked me to get a sink by Wednesday at latest so he can cut out the template. I get the sink right away and give it to him on Monday when the measurement was done. They tell me see you next Monday for install at 9. It should only take 4-5 hours. So the week goes by and on sunday, I get curious about the time so I call him to double check we're still on for 9 the next day. He says they fell behind because of snow. It snowed a inch a couple days before by the way. So I say fine and they said they'll be there by noon. On monday, I get off work and driving home. 5 minutes away from home and 30 minutes before they're suppose to show up, augustine calls me. "We have a problem, you have to come into my shop". I say ok and drive 30 minutes to his shop. The sink I gave him is a undermount sink but since it was rounded off on top, he says it won't look good. I ask him why he's calling me about this now since he had the sink for a week now. He just starts blowing up on me. "Don't blame me, you're the one who bought the wrong sink. It's not my fault. You need to go get a new sink if you want this installed today." It's 12 now and this guy doesn't even have my countertop cut yet. So I run over to home depot and buy a new sink. I come back and ask again, is this going to be done today? He says, " why you so worried? The days only halfway over, of course we'll get it done." I rush home and the guys are there almost done with the tear out. They tell me they have to drive back to the shop to pick up the countertop. 2 hours later, they come back only with the countertop. No backsplash, no 2 small bar tops. They tell me the rest wasn't ready so they have to finish on wednesday at 10. Wednesday comes by and it's 11. Nobody's here so I call augustine. Obviously annoyed, he answers and says they're loading up right now. Starts giving me attitude again when into our conversation, he says "wait who is this? I thought you were someone else." So I guess I'm not the only customer he talks to like that or the only one with the problem. Anyway, the guys show up and starts working. The installier notices a big scratch on one of the piece and he says he needs to take it back to the shop to polish it and that we need to finish tomorrow. I also noticed that the backsplash which was cut into 3 pieces, that 1 of them were a lot thicker than the other 2. I say that doesn't look right so the installer calls augustine. I get on the phone and augustine is just going crazy. "That's how it's suppose to be! You're lucky I even did that for you because I threw it in for free!" He then calls me a a $$ h*** I tell him I can't pay him the rest if they don't change that and then he threatens to put a lien on my house. First of all, I would've loved to see him try and second yes the backsplash was all included in the price. He began cursing at me in Spanish and I give the phone back. The first thing the installer says to me when he hangs up with augustine is "he threaten to put a lien on your house? He does that all the time." The installers were people augustine hired so they're not part of the company. They continue on just bashing the guy about his attitude and how he loses clients all the time. They say it's embarrassing working with this guy saying a 1 day job turned into 3 days because they weren't ready and also didn't have enough material. That's why they sent that uneven backsplash, hoping I wouldn't notice. The next day, they came back at 1 and finally finished up. Also, this company is not responsible for plumbing so they won't hook up your sink/faucet after finishing. They are ONLY responsible for putting in the granite. The electric outlets that were in the way of the backsplash, they won't cut the cover to fit it back on. The dishwasher wasnt attached back to the counter/ cabinet so it was left loose and for me to fix myself. Also, when the countertop was put on and when they leveled it, it left a big gap between the top and the cabinet. Again, they won't fix it. I thought augustine was a good guy to work with at first, but the guy changes after he gets his deposit and the contract is signed. I never, not even just as a customer but as a person been talked to like he talked to me. He will curse at you and threaten you. Stay away from this guy at all cost. A 1 day job turned into 3. They did a great job. It looks good, it's level.. A small chip occurred on the edge several days after it was installed (not the installers fault). I called , let them know it was not their fault and they are sending an installer to fix it. No charge! That's what you want with a job like this. A contractor you can rely on! I must have called 40 contractors to find 3 that were willing to bid on our job.The house we just purchased had nice new granite installed on old cabinets. It is nearly impossible to find someone willing to try to take out existing granite for reuse, because there is only about a 50% chance that it will come out without damage. They not only successfully removed our current granite, but because of designer error from another company, we were unable to re-use our existing granite, and they gave us a great price on new countertops throughout our house. During our major remodel, they were the only contractor consistent every step of the way. The crew not only did great work, but they worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. We are thrilled with our new quartz countertops & would absolutely recommend them. read more

I called several companies who would not actually come to the house to give a bid unless I came in first and put down 65% and signed a contract. Take Me 4 Granite came to the house and gave a bid the day they were called. Their collection of stone was varied and the one I selected was competitively priced with the other companies. I had called on a Thursday, they came back on Friday with the contract and measured out the template. My counters were fabricated and ready for installation that next Wednesday! When they arrived the very first thing they did was lay down tarps to protect the hardwood floors. One piece of stone was almost an entire slab and it took six men to carry it into the house and there was absolutely no damage. When they cut out the spot for the stove they let me know that there would be dust, and they minimized it by vacuuming while making the cut. My walls were not straight so they had to cut the dry wall for the counter to fit. The cut was so good that it was able to be covered with just caulking. The one seam that I did have is even and matched to the stone. Then..they cleaned up, which was great. This is a family business, they did what they said they would do, they came when they said they would come and they were respectful of the house. I could not have been more pleased. I give them five stars (but the last time I did that Yelp hid the review) and would recommend them highly. read more

This company has no value of their customers time. My install was moved to a later date than my contract. ( which I very nicely agreed to) The installer showed up 2.5 hours later than my scheduled time. I called to inquire where they were and was spoken to in a very disrespectful way by the owner of the company. They showed up with a piece of granite that had a sizable chip out of it. Again the owner was completely rude when I complained. I would never recommend or use this company again. read more

Please think twice about using these guys. The owner, Augustine and his wife, Maria came out to my home to provide me an estimate. Augustine measured the counter top and provided me a quote. I agreed to the written quote price and paid them 70% upfront, as required. They will only take check or cash - no credit cards. I drove down to Del Tile and picked out the granite that I wanted. I emailed the specs of the sink to Augustine. They did not receive the specs, so I drove the sink down to their shop and left the sink with them to make the template. I asked when the counter top could be installed. They provided a date. They did not show up on that date, so I called to reschedule. We agreed to the following day. A team of young, non-english speaking gentleman arrived and began to remove my old counter top. Then they disconnected my sink and plumbing. Once the counter top was removed, I was informed that there would be a 1/4-1/2 inch gap between my back splash and the counter top. The options were to leave the gap or to go purchase some 1/4 inch wood to place under the granite. I was informed that this was my responsibility. The wood was purchased and placed below the counter top. Once pieced together, I could see that the new granite counter top was not matching up to the wall the way the old one did. There was a hole in the wall where the new counter top did not cover. The installers shoved a piece of paper towel in the hole and covered it with masking tape. The dishwasher had been disconnected from the old counter top. The new dishwasher was never re-secured. The installer could not drill into the granite to secure it. The bar area of the counter top required brackets for support. I had to purchase these. The installer cut the molding around each bracket with a hack saw. They are different widths - and there are holes on each side of the brackets. Very shoddy work. The best part? They left without hooking up the sink. I asked why and was told they don't do plumbing. Fine, but then why were they able to take apart my sink in the beginning? Too many unknowns with this business. They need to state upfront what you are responsible for. I had to have someone come and redo the plumbing, fix the holes in the wall, reattach the dishwasher and stain the wood under the counter. Overall - very shoddy. Go with someone else. read more

I was disappointed. They were not up front with me regarding the ins and outs of what services they would and would not provide. I signed a contract for granite (technically quartz) and installation for my kitchen. They also ripped out my formica. However, they did *not tell me a few things: 1. That the water needed to be shut off in my building (even though I emailed twice asking if this needed to happen) 2. That they would need to take apart the pipes/plumbing underneath my sink to install the new countertops. 3. That I would need a plumber to come over as soon as they were done with the installation to reconnect anything - which leads to number four. 4. That they would *leave the kitchen sink in disrepair when they left. I came home to my sink and my dishwasher pipes leaking, and my garbage disposal on the floor of the cabinet underneath my sink. I called Augustin, the man in charge of the company, as soon as I saw water leaking underneath my sink when I got home from work (approximately five hours after they left my home). He was very defensive and repeatedly told me "I'm not a plumber and I'm not responsible for plumbing," to which I replied, "okay, then why did your employees take apart the plumbing underneath my sink and just leave it to drip?" This conversation went back and forth on the phone for about an hour on and off, until he came over with a friend to check out the mess. The same argument occurred inside my home for about another hour. He kept telling me he wasn't a plumber, which was obvious because of how they left my kitchen. He also asked how old I was, in an attempt to tell me he was older and that he had more life experience than I did, so I didn't know what I was talking about. After his friend stopped the leak, we were still arguing about the fact that I wanted him to pay to have a licensed plumber come over and to re-assemble my sink and my dishwasher. At the end of the argument, Augustine agreed to pay for the plumbing, and apologized, after I asked him to do so. I told him he was disrespectful as well. He and his employees did not make anything clear when I signed a contract with them for counter installation. That happened on a Friday night. I froze my credit card, and let him know I would not be giving him the remaining balance that I owed him until we figured out my plumbing situation to see how much he would owe me. When the business week began, I got an alert from my credit card company that Take Me For Granite attempted to charge my credit card three different times for the remaining balance. I emailed (I have documentation if needed) and let them know they would not be getting money from me until I figured out what the plumbing would cost. I did not hear from them until I submitted the plumbing bill to them and asked them to pay for it in full, and to subtract that amount from my remaining balance. They agreed to pay 66% of the bill from the plumber. I agreed. And said I would write a check, and would give it to them when they came over to anchor my dishwasher to the new countertops (another thing they did *not do for me when they originally came to install the counters). Two employees came over and did not use a drill to anchor my dishwasher. They instead used two metal clasps with adhesive, one of which was falling off when they tried to leave. I asked them to come back with a better solution. They came back with an epoxy of some sort, to secure the cheap metal clasps they used to secure my dishwasher in place (so it didn't tip over). I then gave them the check for the remaining balance (minus the 66% of the plumbing bill they agreed to pay). I would not recommend this company. I felt as though I was not communicated with about the expectations about what they would and would not need/ what they would and would not do in my kitchen. And, instead of admitting guilt and apologizing, I was met with a very combative, argumentative owner who did not treat me with respect. I also canceled my credit card they had on file, in fear of them attempting to charge my credit card for more money once they left with the final balance I agreed upon with them. On a more positive note, the counter looks good, and the quality of the quartz is great. I just wish the customer service reflected their product. read more

very bad experience unfortunately. price was good but job was done very poor. they did not shim the counter top very well and i was very afraid it would break and had to shim myself. i blame both the cabinet installer and them for none level and shim. but the under mount sink falling off after 3 months, that's bad. they came back to reattach and now my sink leaks, between the steel lining. now three months later the sink has detached again, errr. don't know if i even want to call them again. i really need a new sink and the job done right. read more

After ordering and cancelling orders with Home Depot and Costco, visiting every granite company in Denver, I chose Take Me For Granite and I have never been more pleased!! Instead of being shown a sample that does not match the production material by other suppliers, Take Me For Granite allowed me to shop hundreds of slabs and pick out the perfect granite for my kitchen. In fact, I chose 2 slabs, just in case there was an accident with the first one - which there wasn't. Other suppliers told me that the backsplash did not have to match the countertop - not so with Take Me For Granite. Other suppliers told me that I had to have seams - not so with Take Me For Granite. These people are professionals in every way. They came to my house and removed the old countertop and replaced it with beautiful granite. The workmanship was excellent and you can tell that they take pride in their final product. In short, I would highly recommend (and have) Take Me For Granite to anyone who appreciates quality work at a reasonable price. read more
