My girlfriend and I came here to pick out our slab of granite for our new build with Oakwood. When we first walked in, we were taken away by their showroom. It was nicely laid out and had may options to choose from. The front desk woman didn't seem very personable. She seemed like she was too busy. Which was disappointing because my initial impression of the place when I walked in was good. However, the guy who helped us with our selections was extremely helpful. I can't remember his name, but he was a white guy with blonde hair and I think glasses. This guy was so passionate about his job and helping us. After we picked out the granite, we told him we were doing the backspash ourselves and could use some direction. He didn't miss a beat...he sat us down and showed us some samples. Then he ran back and grabbed some more. By the time we were done, we seemed to have a better idea of what we wanted. But just in case, he sent us free samples to our house so we could make a decision when the cabinets and floors were in. He was very accommodating, kind, and personable. Customer service is very important to me and becoming harder to find these days. HE is the reason I will do all my future business with you guys. read more

Hi Dan, Can't believe you told me to go to another supplier! You over estimated delivery times and prices to push me away, well it worked. I ended up finding a better variety of tiles both in costs and time. They also have a list of subs I was able to find a great tile setter. My new business is gaining traction and I feel as though I owe you for sending me away, otherwise I wouldn't have landed so good. You'll get a warmer reception at the website. Great selection of tile to look at, but zero help from anyone who works there. Three women sat and talked and ate their lunches at the reception desk while my husband and I wandered around lost. I finally went up to them to ask a question and got serious attitude. One woman walked me over to the tile I asked about, slapped the board down on the counter and said "takes 8-10 weeks to come in" and walked away. Unreal. So go for a look around to get some inspiration, but use their website to find out any information. read more

While remodeling our kitchen, our designer had us come to Daltile to pick out granite slabs. We went on a Saturday around 1p (they close at 2p), and everyone was pretty helpful and friendly. We were given neon safety vests to wear in the granite room (standard policy), and a list of all the granite names/price categories along with a little pencil, and off we were to go peruse. They have a HUGE selection of granite - lots of your common, less expensive types all the way up to the most spectacular, beautiful piece of rock you've ever seen in your life (which you will pay for, naturally), all broken out by price category (so you wouldn't get confused and start shopping above your price range). I was impressed by the selection and quality. We ultimately settled on our favorite, and unfortunately they were out of it, but they offered to put us on the wait list for when the next shipment came in. In the meantime, we went ahead and picked our 2nd favorite (and even got some very personal attention from one of the gentlemen who offered to show us some comparative slabs outside) and put it on hold for our designer to purchase later. They got all our info in the system and we were ready to go. Pretty easy process, and really everyone was so helpful and pretty friendly. I even called back several times to check on that other granite, hoping it would arrive in time for our project... it did not, but the girl on the phone was always very nice about me constantly bugging her. They also had a fantastic variety of tiles (for walls, floor, backsplashes, you name it), arranged very attractively. All in all, I would recommend this place to others looking for granite or any other kitchen/bath material. read more

Mr. Mixer and I went to look for the granite we need for our basement finish today. I actually really liked this place! There is an indoor showroom where you can see scraps of this granite or that against tile. The warehouse has a large selection of granite, marble, travertine and man made quartz material which you can go and see in slab form. It's mostly divided by price, so it makes looking for what you want pretty easy. Beside that, they give you a nice worksheet so you can write down exactly what you like. The only problem I had was that of the samples we requested, they had only one in stock. So we didn't get to bring samples home. Fortunately, we knew what we wanted and had no problems telling the nice sales lady, who is going to work with our contractor. All in all, this is a very nice place. read more

We visited to look at different slabs. The lighting was not good, so everything looked darker. Hard to tell what the stone would look like in natural light or even better lighting. The stone we thought we were going to go with looked darker than we expected, so we're going to try to find it somewhere else. We realize it differs from slab to slab, but we still need better lighting to make a decision. read more

I've gotten my tile from Daltile for a couple of bathroom projects and visited their showroom numerous times. While the sales staff can get really busy, I've always had wonderful, very helpful attention from them when I've gone ON WEEKDAYS! I think that could be the key. They have a good selection and competitive pricing with other tile stores. read more

Wow! An all-new showroom matched an all-new staff of design professionals, making it one of the best places to shop for tile in Denver. This completely renovated space went from cluttered and dreary to spacious and modern. Brightly lit with lots of natural light made shopping for tile much easier as 'truer' colors could be seen. Large wall displays also made it easier to see both tile style and color options quickly. They offered a wide range of tile, including marble, porcelain, stone, glass, 'wood plank' and subway in a variety of sizes and price points; along with quartz and granite slabs. At each visit, a staff designer offered assistance. They made suggestions for different tile combinations, printed up a list of retail square footage prices for the tiles, gave full size samples to take home or ordered samples, if they were out of stock, shipping them directly home, at no charge. The designers knew their stock and had great suggestions. Designers Mark and Sarah were especially helpful. This is a design only showroom, with no direct sales, so there was never sales pressure. I highly recommend this place, especially for homeowners needing help with their projects. read more

First, the tile at this center is overpriced and can be located elsewhere for less money. Second, they have poor customer service. I did not receive 8 pieces of bullnose tile in my order, and Daltile has refused to credit back the $82.00- claim it was sent- my contractor could not locate the tile- when we called, they said it was shipped and had 2 witnesses see it placed in the box. I also had purchased some decorative boarder at $50.00/piece. I had 8 of these left over and they would not take them back, not even for a re-stocking fee. With all the great tile places out there and the great customer service with these places, I have no reason to ever buy from this company again. I especially loved how helpful ppl were with samples, etc. Many of them obviously love the stone pieces and speak to them with knowledge. I should have looked at the reviews before heading to this place. Poor customer service would be a compliment for this place. I witnessed a rude staff members's treatment of a customer and couldn't believe they can be employed in a customer service type of job. They have no interest in you, what you're shopping for, or that you may spend a lot of money at their location. I'm in the process of replacing my Corian countertop with granite and am working with Home Depot, who strongly urged me to personally inspect the granite slabs prior to installation, as the small samples were not indicative of the scope of the stone. Daltile is the stone manufacturer with whom the installer works and when I called to arrange a time to inspect the slabs, I spoke with Angie, their very friendly Showroom Consultant. Their showroom is large, clean, and airy and I was greeted by Angie, who was courteous, knowledgeable and just a delightful individual in person, as she had been on the phone. Angie took me to the back to look at all the slabs, including the one I had initially decided on, which turned out to not be a good fit for my backsplash, which I was not replacing. Once Angie learned I was out of my depth in selecting the perfect granite for my countertop, and after looking at the photos of my beautifully tiled backsplash -- which she identified as Travertine -- she cheerfully took me around, showing me which slabs would bring out the colors of my backsplash. Angie did not tire of showing me a wide selection of slabs, and made me feel very comfortable. Eventually, we got to a new stone which, with Angie's expertise, I realized was absolutely perfect for my backsplash! It was a brand new stone and Angie made sure I left with samples. During our inspection, she had been well prepared with the necessary paperwork showing the price, which made selection easier. But, she did not stop there! Although I was not in the market for new Travertine tiles, Angie took me over to that section and gave me a quick lesson on how to care for my Travertine tiles. She further outdid herself by giving me samples of products to take care of the Travertine. Angie is fantastic! As Daltile's Showroom Consultant, she is an excellent representative of her Company. Not recommended if you expect excellent customer service. Girls at front were very rude, not only to us, but to an elderly woman trying to pick out tile. Our fabricator recommended them to us and they lost our business because I refuse to give my hard-earned money to a business that does not earn it. On the upside, we went to The Stone Collector and the service was excellent. I will be using them and will also write a review for their services. Bottom line, don't waste your time with Daltile. read more

Tried to look at granite slabs here. I had my 6 month old with me in a stroller and they refused to allow me to take her back into the area where the slabs are. They claimed it is against OSHA regulations. I have been to multiple other granite suppliers with her and haven't had one issue. They will never get my business. read more

Ordered dal tile thru another shop. First they sent the wrong tile. Waited 1 1/2 weeks for right tile, then found one of the boxes (6) 12" by 24" entirely broken. When contacted dal tile for replacement, they would not without charging me. Great company PR. read more

Mark Olsen did an exceptional job at helping us decide our granite for our kitchen and bathroom remodel. We are excited as this is our first time remodeling. The gentleman helping us pick out slabs noticed pits and holes in one piece and recommended us to look at additional slabs so we wouldn't have to come back and start the process over again. I work as an interior decorator and came into the gallery last week to pick up stone, tile, and countertop samples for a client. First and foremost, I was incredibly impressed with the large selection of materials as well as the layout of the gallery itself. The quality of materials offered is admirable, as are the styles and designs offered. I was impressed that there was a large selection of interesting designs, rather than just the run of the mill "whatever is most popular" kind of vibe that other stores have. Although, they seem to be ahead of the trends, which is also nice to see. Most importantly, the customer service was absolutely top notch. I was a little lost at first, but a very nice man who worked in the granite warehouse helped me find my way and was kind enough to make sure I knew what I was looking for. You just don't see that sort of kindness anymore. As I made my way around the gallery, Sue, the Design Consultant went above and beyond to make sure I got samples of all the materials I needed, price and size sheets for each product, and she even helped me take everything to my car. Sue was incredibly kind and patient with me, I can't say that enough. I was also helped by Mark, the Design Service Center Consultant, who showed me all kinds of tips and tricks for navigating the store and products and gave me invaluable advice that I can extend to my client. I spent several hours in the store and I'm so pleased I will be recommending Daltile's products and services to my clients. read more

I have supported this business numerous times and find that they have pretty good costumer service and the warehouse is very helpful getting supplies to your car. I have always like this place until recently. A few weeks ago when I was at will-call and witnessed staff tolerating and enabling hate speech. There was a costumer who was very loud with staff, and not once, but TWICE referred to Muslims as "towel heads". He also was interrogating them on who they voted for and what their political stance on guns are. The staff didn't participate, but I noticed that no one from management stepped in to let him know that this type of behavior is inappropriate at a place of business. I think that its reprehensible that a company that is supported by so many immigrants would tolerate such behavior, and allow this man to bully and belittle those around him. It made me very uncomfortable, to the point where it is hard to think that I will go back. read more
