Who knew there could be a million options when it comes to creating an invitation? Lindsay was perfect in helpingan overwhelmed bride-to-be (me) navigate the choices and decide what kind of invitation would suit our style & personality best. During the planning process, she was quick to respond to emails I had with questions. She created digital images of the invitations so that I could look over anything and make any changes. There were also a lot of options provided - such as wax seals, stamped return envelopes, etc Our invitations were beautiful, and we received a lot of compliments from our guests! From the scheduled one-hour appointment that turned into a two-hour appointment spent mainly on picking out just the right shade of the colors we wanted (couldn't decide - there are so many!), to checking with us each step of the way during the creative process - she was just great! She was even able to accommodate our request of printing the invitations in two additional languages and worked with us meticulously to ensure everything is correct and just the way we wanted it, accounting for cultural customs. Lindsay from Take Note! was so great to work with. She took care of our wedding stationery (Invitation, Seating Chart, Menus, Place cards and Table Names) and she did an awesome job. Everyone loved our wedding invitations. We received so many compliments from family and friends. On our wedding day, the menus, place cards and table names completed the table setting. It was so elegant. I also appreciated the extra touch that Lindsay added to our wedding stationery, even when we don't ask for it. For our seating chart, we wanted a map of the Las Vegas strip since our table names were Las Vegas hotels. Lindsay included the wording "Welcome to our Wedding" similar to "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign. It was a nice extra design that we didn't think of. Simply put, AMAZING. I cannot stop looking at my invites! I found Lindsay through my coordinator during the wedding planning process, and I am so thrilled that I did! She was super prepared for our consultation and pulled out a few samples of our colors and we were immediately able to envision our design. We looked for a provider for our wedding invites for weeks and finally happened upon Take Note. We were so happy that Lindsey sat down to really understand what we wanted. All the other vendors were charging nearly twice as.much and forcing us to go with stencils and samples. Not at Take Note. Ok so ... I was in a major hurry AND WAITED UNTIL THE LAST SECOND to get my invites done. I am a nurse and I work long hours with no real breaks in the action. I found Take note creations online ( I googled invitations in San Diego I think) and was happy to see that they were a local San Diego company. I had been searching online and hated the idea of not seeing my invitations in person before they went out. So I was frantically looking for somewhere by my house. I called a few other places with no response. Finally I emailed take note creations and instantly got an email back from Lindsay! I was very impressed! I told her about my situation and how picky I was about my invitations. She was wonderful and began emailing me some ideas and set up a time the next day to meet me and pick out all my invitation details. I went to her studio (so cute) and had a great talk about what I wanted. She had all her samples and it really helped me to visualize what my invitations were going to be like. After a little under 45 minutes I had designed my entire invitation, and let me tell you I was thrilled! I was short on time and the turn around was only a few days. I would tell most people to be realistic on time and please don't do what I did to save your own sanity! Although, Lindsay made these invitations more beautiful than I could have imagined even with the time crunch. My invitations are stunning, I sent them all out this week and I am so happy with the outcome! Lindsay and take note creations is a GOD SEND! I am so grateful I found them! My wedding is going to be beautiful and now I have the invitations to match. I highly recommend this company, If you are at all unsure of who to use .... let this be your swift kick in the pants...
