Let me be the first to review…read more We bought a beautiful home one block in from the Barnegat Bay last Year and moved in, in May 2017. After six months of living here we noticed that the front door had completely rotted and needed replacement. Ok that's fine. Can someone please tell me why any good builder would use aluminum doors in a house on the water!!! Well I'll tell you! A very bad and inexperienced builder. But it gets better. The siding needed to come down in order to put the door in and when the siding was pulled off, the entire front of our home was completely rotted all the way up to the second floor to include the headers over our garages due to leaking behind the siding from the decking above. Did I mention that the house is only just over 10 years old?! Before this issue we had to also replace an entry door going into our garage which was completely rusted. When we took that door off the same thing happened on the side of the house due to a J channel not being installed properly. So all of the sheathing, insulation, Sheetrock, Tyvek and 2x4s needed to be replaced. He never compensated for weather or the fact that salt air from the water across the street when he built this house! I tried calling the builder left a very nice message but of course he never called back. If you're planning on having your home built or planning to purchase one in the Lacey area, please do your homework and never use this builder nor purchase a house that he has built. You will be sorry. I wish there was a negative star that I could hit on Yelp

My husband and i went to Progressive to pick out a countertop. We picked the slab that we wanted…read more Progressive had the dimensions, design, and layout of what the job would be. They gave us a quote and we agreed. They sent my husband a layout and asked if he was ok with where the seam would go. They did not tell him anything about the grains or how the countertop was not going to match up. They recorded him saying yes, and then use that against him to say that he agreed to the whole layout. What kind of company does that? My husband does not know the first thing about laying a countertop. We paid $5500 for a service from a company that was supposed to be reputable and knowledgeable. Frankly, if this was my business, I would be embarrassed that that's the countertop that they would be OK with. Imagine walking into your kitchen waiting to see your beautiful countertops and from across the room the first thing you notice is a big seam and a countertop that has grains that go in opposite directions. We've been told by a few people from progressive that this is not a normal way to put in a countertop. So I'm not sure why the original people who put it in would have been OK with it or the people who sold it to us not telling us that the countertop would not flow and the Seam would be that noticeable. If they had, I would have chosen a different company. I am completely perplexed as how a company would be OK with me telling people that I bought this from progressive and the progressive installed it. Again, if it was my company, I would be embarrassed. I wish I could post a picture because It looks terrible. When we reached out they were dismisssive and. told us there was nothing they could do unless we wanted to spend another $3,000. Very unprofessional

Had tub refinished a few years ago. Looked good initially…read more Paint started to peel in a number of places about 4 months later. In addition, they painted OVER the caulking where the wall meets the tub. The problem with this is that, if/when you need to repair/replace the caulking along the tub/wall, when you remove it, the paint peels up with it along with a bit more! They should have suggested to remove the caulking before painting. ...and "Yes, you DO get what you pay for." And considering what I paid, I can't be upset enough to only give it one star.

I love how my shower came out - like it's a brand new tile job for 1/4 the cost!read more
