I have had both quick and extended visit needs, and never once felt rushed or pressured. They took their time doing what needed to be done and explained everything adequately and the appointment was over when I had satisfied everything I came there to address. This is not the type that spend 3 minutes with you and rush you out the door as long as you try to be respectful of their time :) it has been one of my best experiences with a doctors office in my life so far and I'm so happy I found that and the reviews were right for once!

Trash was overflowing and it clearly hadn't been cleaned from the night before. This is the same bathroom used for urine samples--unacceptable and unsanitary. - Impossible to Reach: They use "tech" and "telehealth" as a wall to avoid patients. My insurance approved a travel exception for my meds instantly, but I had to physically drive to the office THREE times because no one picks up the phone. I finally had to tell them I wasn't leaving until they signed it off so I could catch my flight the next morning. - Billing Over Care: It felt like every hurdle was just an excuse to force me into a billable follow-up. They are obsessed with telehealth and gatekeeping. - Medical Mismanagement: The doctor prescribed me heavy-duty heart surgery meds (Carvedilol) for simple high blood pressure. When I reported extreme fatigue and a dangerously low heart rate, she wouldn't listen. My new doctor at Cedars-Sinai was shocked and took me off them immediately. This made the transition easier as the ladies in the office have known my little crew of boys for the 16 years. Dr. Oji is an amazing pediatrician. He educates you on conditions and answers your questions thoroughly. I have built an amazing, trustworthy relationship with him and the staff. He makes himself available after hours for urgent needs via telephone. My boys have said that they feel they are in great hands with Dr. Oji and trust him. That in itself is a big deal for kids and teenagers. He also has Ms. Alex, a nurse practitioner twice a week and she is also utterly amazing. The teamwork of the team makes this a top rated office. I could honestly say that if you're looking for a top notch team, look no further. He has written a couple of books that can help new parents, I highly recommend reading those. He is a kind and gentle man. I will truly miss him, Alex, and the office girls since we are moving out of state. I know I will not find anyone near his expertise where I move to.
