My Hilton Garden Inn the night before charged 16 dollars for the same items. Tiki served everything, including my tea, juice, and milk, and even filled my water bottle with ice and water. She told me she loves serving her customers. She was very friendly and talkative. I complimented her at the front desk and my Hilton review. The room was typical, and they have an outside pool and fitness center. Conveniently near lots of shopping and restaurants. They won a hotel award for the area. They also have a bar and serve lunches/dinner. Even has an outdoor putting green. Pinehurst area the golf capital of the US.

We were excited to play a course that was a classic Donald Ross design and host of the 122nd LPGA US Open won by Minjee Lee. An exceptional course in every way. The Fairways are plush with green grass. The greens were well manicured and cut nice and close to create fast conditions but not overly so. A challenging design with many of the green side and fairway bunkers Donald Ross is known for. A beautiful course with some exceptional views and an overall great golf experience. I've played over 100 courses from coast to coast and would place this in the top 5. I'm already thinking about planning my next trip to play this course again.

Which is just as comfortable with a full fridge and in room coffee maker. So, the 2 things this location has RIGHT! Customer service!!! We are treated like family. The team members are warm and inviting! The day of our arrival, our time line changed. When we called to request an early check in which was accommodated with a smile! From Miranda at the front desk, to Carl who prepared our breakfast. Then The young lady on the housekeeping team who greeted me with genuine enthusiasm. These team members want to be here, and it shows. The next, a really simple GF pre-wrapped muffin for breakfast. Being dietary restricted makes "continental breakfast" generally a no go. But this location offers one simple and amazing option. A pre wrapped gf certified muffin. For me, this is a simple act that just makes this team shine! So now, next time we stay I will ask for the fourth door. Being on the 3rd floor I did hear the people above us walking around while getting ready for the day. Like most all of DR's designs there are a lot of bunkers. You'll be challenged by the green side bunkers that will create a challenge for you. Not that many fairway bunkers but a few that will get your attention. You won't come back to the Clubhouse on the Turn but you will find the 'Half-Way House' which will be a welcome pause for food and beverage. There were mixed reviews of the course from our group of 12 but everyone acknowledged it was a good experience since it was a DR Design. The one problem we all agreed on was the many permanent Cart Path Only holes.

The manager and his wife are very mean to staff. I asked her for her name and she said her name is Bee. If you visit please be kind to her and show her some grace she told us that she has been there for just a few months. Personally I will never give this place my business again and once the managers walked to the back I told her that I'm sorry that she was spoken to in that manner and in front of customers. I also told her that's considered discrimination by her employers which she told me she was aware I will be complaining to corporate about the way she was treated.

When we called the front desk and told them this was unacceptable the front desk was incredibly rude about it and told us there was nothing they could do for us. We insisted that they needed to fix the problem and instead they called the police to have us removed. I understand the front office wasn't at fault for the way the room was left, but they made zero attempt to try to retain us as customers and make things right. Instead they just tried to immediately get rid of us. To make matters worse, we tried calling customer service 800 number and they were incredibly unhelpful as well. So not only was the service at this location unsatisfactory, but so was the customer service number we called. From this experience we can only come to the conclusion that Days Inn is a terrible hotel, and you should stay away at all costs. I will make sure none of my friends or family stay at any Days Inn again.
