The ice seems to be pretty well taken care of and they have locker rooms for teams/league. They also have skate rentals (only figure skates). The sports complex also has tennis, a pretty nice weight room, yoga and other classes, golf pro shop. They are missing a hockey/skating pro shop but they can sharpen skates. The facility still seems pretty new and the staff is helpful.

Ben was super professional and made the sign in process easy and efficient. Larry walked me through the airport to make sure that I was safe when landing and jumping. Tara was there offering to help pack if needed. And last but not least, Cory - he treated me like family. He showed me where all the gear was kept, gave advise for jumping, and even demonstrated how they work with students on their progression. All in all, this place is amazing and I can't wait to come back and make some more jumps. But we still get joy out of doing well designed escape rooms (this location for Dr. Madblood). I like that they have lockers to store your belongings. Our game master was great! She is very passionate & enthusiastic! She was kind to say we were only two steps away from solving the room. But when we asked what the remaining steps were, haha it was way more than two! There are some multi-layered puzzles. Just don't make the same mistakes we did. Doing the same thing over & over again or trying different variations of it and expecting different results. It means you have to look at it differently. Also curiosity and determination will help. The props are way better at this location than the Easton one, or at least than the Ghost Ship one. It was nice to chat with our game master & another employee after our game. It's refreshing to see employees who enjoy their job and are excited about creativity in the rooms.

[Coronavirus review] Tons of people drive past the turnoff…read morefor this place on the way to the beach without ever giving it a thought. Is it worth making a detour? In our social distancing era, the calculus changes perhaps, as the beaches will be crowded and this place will not. Most of the actual preserve is a gravel road; you don't need four-wheel drive or anything, but you'll be dusty. Of several trails, the one at the very end, Ferry Point, leads through an interesting manicured landscape with gnarly trees encircling the path. The offshoot labeled "jack-in-the-pulpit trail" suggested some nifty pitcher-plant looking foliage, but I saw nothing like that. Maybe I just didn't know what to look for. There's a small beach, and some people were using it for boating or fishing. The water was as pleasant as I've seen on the Eastern shore; calm, clear, and with plenty of plant life. So much of the Chesapeake shore is private land that it's nice to be able to see what the scenery looks like without a McMansion, and this preserve is not a place where I'd spend the whole day, but it is convenient to stop at on the way to or from other things.
