I was very surprised by the thoughtfulness. The store owner, Mary Ann, is known to have said, "There's no such thing as too much bling!" The store is ever evolving in styles and is part fashion clothing and jewelry and part art gallery, as Town magazine accurately describes the boutique. Mary Ann is bringing NY Fashion design to Greenville. But, she also knows how to make the space for patiently waiting amenable to the men, which probably also helps with their agreement to the fashion budget. There was even a hint that a complimentary cold beverage was available! We felt very welcomed and she even knew my MIL and her style as we were discussing whilst buying the gift card. But she couldn't put my hair back. She just cut off more. She also tried to cover for Beth but there was absolutely no mis-commutation. Beth simply didn't listen to me. I'm still very angry, and it has been weeks since my visit. I would never recommend this salon. Perhaps other stylists at this salon are good, but not Hair-by-Beth. Missy was a little disappointing as well. Her attitude, and then cutting more hair was a little misguided. I'm also upset because I diligently researched salons before selecting this one. But the fact remains. I got a bad haircut at Innovations Salon in Simpsonville, SC. And beware of a stylist who turns your chair away from the mirror to hide their mistakes.
