But when things are normal, the lighting is excellent, the clothes are well organized and the staff is always, and I repeat, always polite and friendly. They are business people and this is their business and customers need to understand that. As with any business based on donations, you can find wonderful things at very reasonable prices or you can find nothing at all to your liking. But that is why Unique Boutique -- and each item is unique -- is so much fun. A note -- someone reviewed it saying "I called to ask about furniture and the guy said no and hung up the phone..." This is what I mean about customers not understanding retail...you asked a question, he answered it and why should he stay on the phone with you ? There is no way this store has the space to accommodate furniture and once that is clear, there is nothing more to say, so salespeople hang up. If you would like them to apologize for not taking or selling something impossible, that is what you expect culturally, but other people do not think that is necessary in what is not a personal relationship. You asked a question, you got an answer, good bye, move on.

On my most recent trip, I noticed the jewelry section was moved closer to the fitting rooms, and the makeup, skincare, and body products are now near the elevators. Everything feels a bit mushed together at times, which makes browsing a little confusing. The linen section could definitely use improvement there isn't much variety when it comes to pillows or bedding. On the bright side, checkout has gotten faster! I've noticed more cashiers recently, which makes a big difference. I usually stop by this location when I'm looking for something I couldn't find elsewhere, or when I want to compare prices between TJ Maxx and HomeGoods.

You're required to hand over all items before entering, and the staff takes their time counting everything to ensure sensors are attached. When you come out, the process repeats--they count everything again and ask what you're purchasing. It's honestly quite annoying. Security presence is minimal; the guard usually just stands near the elevator and doesn't seem actively engaged. Occasionally, there are NYPD officers on-site, though it's unclear why. The checkout line is typically very long, but to their credit, it does move quickly. Overall, I give this location 3 out of 5 stars. I usually manage to find something worth buying, but I'm not really a fan of the overall experience at this store.

The staff is attentive to detail; they notify me when something is due; they follow up with the dr. if a new scrip or a pre-authorization is needed. They have a reliable delivery service which you can easily book online. I find dealing with them easy as they are efficient, reliable and organized. Honestly the store can be a HOT Mess. Some good finds but most of the time it frustrating. Only like 1 or 2 cashiers most of the time as well. The shoe aisles obviously you can't tell people are stealing the shoes and leaving their old ones in them. Tons of Empty boxes. There really needs to be a change up on the floor plan on that store. It is incredibly organized. I think this Marshalls is going to be one of my favorites from now on.
