Capsule is the best pharmacy I have ever been to. All the info is available online and well organized. The staff is attentive to detail; they notify me when something is due; they follow up with the dr. if a new scrip or a pre-authorization is needed. They have a reliable delivery service which you can easily book online. I find dealing with them easy as they are efficient, reliable and organized. Went to purchase some sneakers, and I was immediately impressed at the COVID measures in place. I felt completely safe, and was also impressed that they had many of the selections I wanted in stock. I was buying for my partner, and the employees were able to answer all of my questions and quickly offered to pull out the options I wanted in the size I needed. I was approached by at least five different store clerks in less than 10 minutes. I feel that this was racially motivated. To add insult to injury, your trashy, cheaply-made clothes are significantly overpriced as mentioned by several others on this page. This store simply has no redeeming qualities. Inevitably, this store will go bankrupt and be replaced by a shop that treats customers with dignity and respect. Here's some advice: If you are ignorant enough to assume that African Americans are all poor and want to steal your merchandise, perhaps you should close your shop and leave Harlem. I had the kind of experience shopping with Capsule NYC that you always hope for... I was traveling and spied a pair of awesome track pants while on the road but the store didn't have my size. I checked the designer's website and there I found Capsule. I called the store and spoke with Daniel, who I later learned is the owner. He was so helpful and responded with lightning speed to my inquiry, even going the extra mile to make sure I got my coveted pants as quickly as possible. Things can be ran a little better but what made me leave a review is the misinformation people have. In Capsule and every story like it the clerks get commission so when they are asking you it's not racially charged or condescending simply that's how they make their money. Boutique have to approach people because when they don't that is also taken as if they don't want to deal with people. I'm a young black man I have braids and I never smile unless I'm laughing. As soon as I got in the store all 3 clerks asked if i needed help I said what I wanted and the guy started showing me different things. Btw the bulk of the employees are West African so idk how it could be racism or colorism against another black man. Do not waste your time going there or ordering anything from them. I order a $215.00 pair of boots for Christmas didn't get them until middle of January and sent them back in the same exact box and packaging they sent to me. Three weeks later I called waiting on my credit card to be refunded and some unprofessional, disrespectful, no customer service, cutting me off as I'm explaining what happened and his coworkers are laughing in the background which irritated me even more. He was so rude to me he even hung up on me. I called back and asked him his name he claims his name is/was Daniel. I told him I'm calling corporate and even asked for his supervisor. The first time I came in was to buy my fiancé a gift for our anniversary and let me just say I loved it! I missed being able to go to a clothing store where I felt welcomed and was located in my neighborhood. I entered in about an hour before closing and was assisted immediately with pulling the items I was looking for. I was provided alternatives, as there are many since a third I wanted was out of stock. I walked out feeling happy about my purchase and was told have a good weekend by the other sales associates in the store. I look forward to coming back to purchase a lot more items in the future. The owner of the business, who is a woman, reached out to me to apologize for everything. Not only was she highly professional in her responses, outlining the actions she has and will take to make sure she has a better trained staff, but she offered me a discount if I were ever to shop there. Although I could never step foot in that store knowing I'd potentially face my harassers, I'm appreciative of the offer. I can't in good conscience leave anything higher than 3 stars since the damage is done and I continue to walk cautiously past the store.
