My husband and I have been contemplating getting our 5 year old daughter into modeling but didn't have any knowledge or experience on how to go about it. Our initial meeting with Rachel in January 2024 with Talent Connection gave us the information we needed and she answered every questions we had. She took the time to provide us with an overview and the process of getting our daughter into modeling. She connected us with a great photographer to work with to get my daughter's portfolio started and the photos came out amazing. Rachel is responsive via call or text when we do have questions. She's very passionate and knowledgeable about what she does. She gave us insights on what to expect during auditions for our daughter. Along with the acting classes our daughter attends at Talent Connection, she's able to do a slate clearly in front of a camera and learned her first commercial monologue. She looks forward to the acting classes as the coach makes it a safe, fun, and playful environmental where the kids are learning about the industry, yet interacting and socializing with other kids during class. As of March 2024, our daughter was signed to a modeling agency in San Francisco. She also auditioned and was selected to be a part of the June 2024 Industry Network event in LA. my 12 year old daughter told me she was interested in acting so I did some research and I found this place on Google. I went on their website and scheduled a 15 minute appointment so my daughter could meet the staff to see if this would be a good fit for her. we drove 45 minutes to the appointment and when we got there the door was locked so we knocked a few times and no one answered. after a few minutes, I ended up calling their number. I told the lady we were at the door but nobody was answering - she then said "nobody is answering? I don't feel good so I didn't come in today". she didn't sound remorseful at all or even offer to reschedule. my daughter was so upset and I felt so bad bc she was so excited for this read more

They may sound like one but they are far from it and not even a licensed modeling agency. You are paying for a PHOTO SESSION and a WORKSHOP. I took my daughter to the "Hispanic Model Search" today. What they advertised for the event was: " Talent Connection is launching their largest Kids and Teen Hispanic Model Search. Top agencies from S.F will be booking all ages starting at 6 months and up for magazines, catalogs, print ads such as Gap, Old Navy, Macy's, JC Penny's, Pottery Barn and even national commercials". When I got there, it was a sales pitch for their school. I'm not Hispanic but my daughter is. I honestly think that the reason they specified Hispanic is that they think that immigrant parents are more easily manipulated. And maybe they were sick of the one star yelp reviews about their scam and they think that if they target people less likely to speak English, they can be more blatant with lying to people. It's frankly racist. They repeated a couple of different times while giving a pitch to the whole group that they are "not a scam". I told the person doing the individual pitch that if you have to say it, you should take a deeper look at what you're doing. Don't subject your kids to this. read more

What a joke. Go give them $600 for some photos and 4 "acting classes", which are nothing more than kids playing in a room for 45 minutes. Then the "connect" you to an even bigger scheme which is Models Inc agency. They have you jump through a bunch of hoops, go a ton of paperwork, pay to be on yet another site called "skybolt" and promise you call backs, castings and to connect you with auditions which never happens. I must have had maybe 6 people reach out to me on skybolt but we are told by Models Inc we cant respond, that they had to respond on our behalf but guess what nothing ever happened! We never got one single audition despite me saying I wanted to go to anything and everything. This entire thing reminds me of a pyramid scheme. Save your money and hire a talent manager directly. This was a joke. The company that talent connection puts you with, Models Inc, should be reported to BBB. They have every excuse in the book why we haven't received any auditions despite companies sending us emails. SCAM read more
