The staff was super friendly and took their time in helping me pick out a bag of beans based off my personal preferences and intent of use (cortados/lattes vs drip/press). Their beans are well priced at around $14 a bag AND you get a complimentary drip coffee with the purchase! I felt like a winner! I also gave their canned lemonade and coffee drink a try - because why not? It had a unique and almost chocolatey flavor. Not sure if I loved it personally, but the quality of the ingredients and flavors were distinctly there. Certainly will take the time to come back to test out the space for a remote work day or a casual outing. Big plus: They have a parking lot and the option of indoor and outdoor seating. But not so terrible that I would never come back. The staff is really nice and attentive, and they have delicious pastries near the front of the bar as well. There is plenty of seating and charging outlets so you can continue to use your computer, or tablet as needed. It's also in a really cool location with pretty art outside. This family owned shop has been roasting beans locally since 1972 and focuses on helping customers brew excellent coffee at home rather than serving coffee drinks on premises. According to the store manager, Mr. Anderson occasionally comes into the store. The selection of freshly roasted beans is rather larger, with store favorites like Guatemala Antiqua, Dark Sumatra and Arabian Mocha cited as most popular. Coffee cost on average $19 per pound. In addition to coffee, the store carries loose leaf teas, mugs, candy, cards, coffee pot sweaters, brewing equipment, and small other gift items, to name just a few items.
