We had the opportunity to visit with Pediatric ENT, Dr. Daniel Wohl, and his wife, Cindy. Since it was a holiday, we were disappointed that we could not book any tours in Jacksonville or St Augustine. Dr. Wohl stepped up to the plate and offered us a tour of his state-of-the-art medical facility. We were so impressed with how well thought out their office is. The waiting room, which included a homework area, an educational play area, along with the most beautiful, Key West style, "waterless" fish tank (that was impressive), as well as a very colorful check-in reception desk. All of the artwork in the office was tasteful and had special meaning with the purpose of creating a warm and inviting environment. They offer audiology services, including a full-sized sound booth testing area. The examining rooms were all unique and designed to make children feel comfortable and safe. All the rooms are equipped with everything needed to professionally care for their patients. We wrapped up our tour with a special treat... Dr. Wohl was able perform a live demonstration on how he checks a patient's ears. Vivian O. volunteered to be the patient. I was very impressed with Dr. Wohl's examination, his demeanor, and how he offered advice in an easy to understand manner. We were very worried as it was continuing to get worse and he was on steroids every month for his issues. Dr. Wohl took the time to sit with us and look over all of my son's previous records and tests, he was the first doctor that actually heard us and I felt cared as much as we did. He was very thorough and we felt our son would get the help he needed under his care. He expedited my son's case and we had some procedures done. Dr. Wohl was with us every single step of the way making sure we were understanding what was happening. We felt so supported. My son now doesn't need to have any steroids to open his airway, he is breathing normally, sleeping normally and is a happy, healthy child. My mom is usually pretty chaotic and very hovers and Karen balanced her out perfectly with her calm and grounding demeanor. If I wanted someone to worry with me I'd look at me mom and if I needed to forget my worry I looked at Karen. Her face was always peaceful and expected nothing from me. No look of question on her face, just acceptance of the situation and how I was dealing with it. She was very respectful of my religious beliefs and even provided materials related to my faith. One of the quotes she provided actually stuck with me through labor and I'll never forget it. "When my strength runs out, His is only beginning". I would absolutely recommend Karen to anyone who is mostly looking for a grounding and calm presence for their birth experience. Side note: my labor was on the longer side and Karen never complained nor did she look inconvenienced. She was very serving. She also took AMAZING photos of my birth and I get to look at the moment my baby came out. Very thankful.

When Jennifer started with us we thought she was great. It became a nightmare very quickly. She was to conduct a report for our lawyers after evaluating myself, my ex husband, and my daughter. My ex husband at the time had some issues with alcohol and since been identified as neglectful towards our child. When it was time to publish the report, she kept giving excuses and giving different dates to publish. TWO YEARS went by and the report was never published. My attorney as well as myself reached out to her multiple times, showed up to her office, she completely avoided us. We had to have a judge ORDER HER to complete the report. She still did not do that. She ended up having to return us our money we paid her and even then it's an injustice. Wasted time, wasted money, and even worse my own child warmed up to her and asking "why don't I go to see Ms. Jennifer anymore?" The most unprofessional experience I have ever incurred at the hands of a "licensed professional" and I will be filing a formal complaint with the board. This person shouldn't even hold a license.
