After I sat down in a waiting room chair, the second person finally got a wheelchair to sit in while being checked in. The check-in person showed no empathy at all, it actually felt like she was not in the mood. The initial assessment by a nurse was conducted in an open area surrounded by dividers for multiple other patients in an open area. I asked to be moved out of the walkway for privacy. Not a good setup for triage. Same way for first doctor visit. At one time, I was placed in a holding room with a COVID patient, so another patient got me a mask. After 5 hours, I got out alive with directions to follow up. I rated this a 3 because I received the tests my primary recommended.

I legitimately had no where to turn for advice as no other woman in my family had had a previous diagnosis. I've always strived to be the one to pave the path for others... but this isn't one I'd ever wanted to tackle. I was petrified upon hearing my diagnosis... invasive ductal carcinoma, among other foreign terminology... radiologist, core needle biopsy, mastectomy, estrogen & progesterone receptor, lumpectomy, tamoxifen.... Among countless others! Upon referral to MD Anderson Cancer Center, several things became simpler to discern and I chose the most viable option for myself. The staff that I've been assigned have been very gracious, supportive, helpful, understanding, knowledgeable, and informative medical professionals I've had the pleasure to encounter. From the lobby staff to the scrub techs, to the radiographers and all the way to the surgical team... everyone has been amazingly sincere with their every intention! I cannot say enough about the professionalism and dedication to excellence MD Anderson employees have graced me with! I'm now 4 years cancer free and I owe it all to MD Anderson in conjunction with The Hill Breast Center and Baptist Medical Center! They always answer all my questions in "Layman's Terms". Check in and preregistration process with Cynthia was quick and easy. She was very knowledgeable reviewing my insurance on file. 3D mammography in the Women's Imaging Dept done by Marcia. I appreciated her high level of care and attention to detail was outstanding! She was very thorough and you can tell she takes great pride in her career. She not only explained the entire process of what my visit was going to entail, but also showed empathy, knowledge and passion for the imaging industry. I am always impressed with her top notch service and compassion! I also appreciated that the radiologist reviewed my images while I was waiting and was given my results right away.... Win-Win!! ACR BI-RADS Category 1: Negative/No suspicious findings. The health care team always does a fabulous job following CDC guidelines. There are sanitation stations and the waiting area is immaculately clean. Do yourself a favor and go to Baptist Health Imaging for your annual mammography, ultrasound needs and spread the word to the ladies in your life that #mammograms save lives!

These folks are a life saver. I don't know what I would do without them. With their assistance…read moremy wife is able to stay in her own home with the husband she loves and avoid being placed in a nursing home. While they do not do the work, they pay local businesses to meet her needs: CNA home health aid, light cleaning service, one microwave meal a day, briefs, chucks, disposable gloves, cleaning wipes, a small monthly allotment for over the counter medications and vitamins, and 10 days a year of respite care for me. So, I know that she will always be well taken care of. I love the friendly professionals that come 3 days a week and make our lives much easier. I also take time to learn from these professionals so that I can attend her needs and house clean better myself. They have recently had a change in management and there has been a high turn over rate with those on the management level. Hopefully, this has ended as I highly respect her current case manager. I hope to be able to rewrite this section soon and give them 5 stars.

The staff and therapists are truly there for the child's best interest. Parent training and community trips have been a huge factor in helping our family as a whole! She started at Mosaic Day school this year while still receiving services through Keystone Behavioral and combining those two has been life changing for her development and socialization!
