This place is great…read more The staff is extremely friendly and caring. For those wondering, yes this is a faith based non profit with services to help. As a new mom with no direction or help I came upon this place by the grace of God and have built a great relationship with staff. Especially Ellen. I am very blessed to have found this place when I felt I had no sense of support system or direction to be guided in. They offer educational videos from pregnancy all the way to toddler stages. They have great resources to direct for additional help and I just wish more people would really see the benefits from this place. Never once did I feel "forced or fed" religion. I am a Christian. And there was nothing I appreciated more than walking in through those doors and pray with someone when I felt I had nobody. They also have worksheets with information to really understand what you learn about pregnancy/baby development and labor etc. and they offer a small little boutique with great items! I've gotten so many great things from there and again have been nothing but grateful. My son is diagnosed with schizophrenia, which she is not an expert in. The prior reviews about her schedule staying on time resonate with me. She is very in control of her schedule. Too in control to take care of her job. We discussed a well organized plan to switch his medication. He was on zyorexa and Deepa off. She said that if we were going to do that we had to get him off depacote as this is not compatible with caplyta. After six weeks of titrations down on the depacote she told him he can't have caplyta, which has been highly recommended for him by some other professionals I've engaged. Turns out caplyta is compatible with depacote (so she was just wrong and out my son though unnecessary stress taking him off of it) and he needs to be titrated off or zyorexa to take the caplyta. She told us she talked to the drug rep and he said it didn't work for schizophrenia. Not what he said. I was able to check. Titration off of zyprexa would require extra check ins with my son (see love of her schedule). I set up an appointment with my private consultant so she could learn what she didn't understand. She didn't show up after agreeing to make the call. My son is very disappointed. He wants to have better mental health without the side effects or zyprexa. Anyway, she's may be great in some cases but she's out of he depth, and is so focused on keeping her time under control she has failed to help as needed.

Dr. Fritschle gets 2 stars rather than 1 star because she always runs on time. You will be taken…read moreback at the time of your appointment. That is very, very rare. It can also be a bad thing though b/c if you need an extra 5 minutes with her, you aren't going to get it because she runs on schedule no matter what, even if she has to cut you off. I don't like that. I also gave a second star because the office employees are all extremely nice and friendly. They always made me feel very comfortable. I'd prefer to not get into the medications I take, so I'm not going to. Suffice to say, there's a particular medication I have been taking for over 15 years and it is not a medication which you can just stop taking cold turkey because it can cause a stroke if you do. This is a medication that Dr. Fritschle refused to prescribe to me any longer, and that was fine with me. I knew I would have to find another doctor. She and I even discussed this. No problem. She gave me one last prescription for the medication which would last one month with no refills; however, the quickest I could get an appointment with a new psychiatrist because I was a new patient was 5 weeks out. Dr. Fritschle refused to refill the prescription. She even refused to give me a prescription for it even for just a week until I could get in with the new doctor. I absolutely did not understand this because as a doctor, she knew this was a medication I could not stop taking cold turkey. In the end, I had to go to my internal medicine doctor and he gave me a prescription for the medication until I could get in with my new psychiatrist. I'm lucky to have such a wonderful internal medicine specialist who was able to get me in immediately. It was a hassle, a pain, and caused me a lot of undue stress. When she called me, she was actually quite rude about the whole issue while on the phone with me. That was unnecessary. One would think a psychiatrist would not want to cause their patient any stress. I feel she was not looking out for my best interests as her patient.

I had stopped doing all the the things that brought me joy. I spent probably 95% of my life in my room. Naomi greeted me without a hint of judgement. At the time, I couldn't even imagine being happy. I had made the professional work I did my identity, and that was gone. Today I'm engaged in my life again. I do fun stuff. I like myself a little more And I haven't had drink in 4 years. I wouldn't be here without Naomi. She treated me with kindness and acceptance. I've always felt supported and heard. I am better off and still improving. I guess I'll be the odd man out here and not give a 5 star review…read more I'll preface by saying I had to reschedule my initial consult twice (inconvenience to the company and doctor), and I was set up on a promotional 3 free visits. Is it possible that those things came into play in my situation? Yes. Am I sure? No but either way, I am not satisfied nor am I willing to waste more time here. I came in this week on Tuesday for an initial consultation at 930. I was given paperwork and then a tour. Now its around 10 AM The place is clean and well taken care of and recently remodeled it looks like. The receptionist and staff are friendly and smiling. The girl who did my first few tests was very sweet and took time to explain each test she was performing. Now its 10:52 and she sends me to a room to wait for the doctor to perform an X-ray. I wait 10,20 , 25 minutes while hearing him do adjustments and talking to his patients. The walls are VERY thin. Finally at 11:30 I walk out to the front to let them know I will just reschedule if the doctor is busy. He was standing there , at the desk when I said it( I had no idea what he looked like, ha) . So he says no I'm ready now..He takes me back and does his measuring and xray and tells me why I need to get my sporadic pains treated because they are bound to be worse in ten years. That I stand lopsided and one leg is longer than the other. I ask "oh,, what can I do about that?" His arrogance on display "Its not something you can fix its something I fix" NO details about treatment were given, everything is either a rush, or a smart comment. I got a condescending attitude no matter what I said. He finished up evaluating my spine, and flexibility etc. around 12pm. "You're a mess" was his last comment. I just didn't get the feeling that I would be cared for in the manner that I wanted. Then I made an appointment to return at 1pm to view my results , then I realized I was already there for 2 and a half hours for a consultation! I decided another day would be best so I scheduled for this Friday. (Tomorrow) to view my "results" but they texted me today to see if they could move it back another 15 minutes (meaning another 30-45 minutes) It seems like they have an overbooking problem and an overconfidence problem. I'll pass and if I find I need a chiropractor in the future I'll check elsewhere. I don't ask anyone to sugar coat or kiss up to me , but if you want to get my business Respect is number one. It seems like its not on the list of priorities here. But it looks like I had a unique experience.
