From the moment I walked into Dr Amiel's office, to the time I left (in tears), I was surprised by his aggressiveness toward me and this was my first time meeting him. Because of his demeanor, aggressive and lack of interest in anything I was saying the entire time, it caused me to have and anxiety attack while still in his office. I came in fine and stable, I left hysterical and it took me a few hours to regroup.

One is that about the time the therapist was making a good connection with him, Info would take the therapist off the case and assign someone new. I believe our son would have made progress faster if they hadn't done that. The most irritating part was their billing. Because of our son's diagnosis, he is eligible for a medical scholarship that covered our co-pay, but Invo was very late billing us for most of our visits. For instance, he had weekly appointments Jan-August. All bills for the scholarship had to be turned in by Aug 1st for that year. We didn't get the bill for that period until September to October so we couldn't claim any of it. I thought this was all done but I just received a bill for four visits almost two years ago. It was processed by our insurance company about two months after the visits, so I know they weren't waiting for that. So now, I'm stuck with the full cost of another four visits long after we are done with therapy!

Two out of three services my son received were billed to the wrong insurance and have now been sent to collections because we were not notified. SIX WEEKS of speaking to billing representatives (all in countries overseas - one specifically told me she is in the Phillipines) have led to dead ends. They promised to bill to the correct insurance. I heard nothing and my insurance company never received any claims so I continues calling. They told me to stop calling and then emailed saying it was rejected again. However, my insurance company says they never received the claim. The representatives give so much conflicting information and there are so many red flags with their "procedure". I told them to transfer me to someone in the United States for my last two calls. The first person I spoke with was wonderful and could clearly see the issue. Unfortunately, she had to submit it to the overseas billing. They, of course, lied again and basically told me 'sorry about your luck' - they wouldn't even submit the claim. The second person in the United States said if they keep pushing this issue, there would be penalties for Thriveworks!! So instead they are penalizing me for their incompetence - the incorrect bills that were never sent to me have now gone to a collections agency and are $500 instead of $40. I am reporting them to The Better Business Bureau and will be asking my state representative's office if they know of someone who can help me to "inspire" the overseas billing agents to do their job. I gave this company a one star rating only because I had to. In reality, they deserve zero stars.

There is also plenty of parking. The front lady is very kind, helpful, and very attentive. The physical therapy staff inside is also nice. At least the person that's been helping my dad. The care quality seems ok. My dad has been getting better, specially with his shoulder. The inside therapy room looks spacious and organized as well. She is so patient and has the perfect balance of letting my child have fun and working on speech at the same time. She gives incredible tips and teaches parents as she goes so that we can work on speech when she isn't there. We have met a lot of speech therapists and Sarah is by far the best we've worked with.
