One of my favorite places in midland. It's a bit of a hidden gem, down a dingy alley under a bank. But let me tell you as soon as you walk in and the owner greets you with a big smile and makes you feel welcome, you'll know you're in for a real treat. This guy goes above and beyond for customer service, one time I was talking to my gf about how much I liked the chips in the refried beans but wished I had more he brought out a plate of them sans charge! Or a buddy didn't know their potatoes had onions in them he got them exchanged no questions asked. Never had a bad experience here, and they just recently renovated so it looks like a pleasant bistro on the inside now. You can't go wrong with the midlander skillet, or their special breakfast platter which comes with everything you could want on a fancy wooden platter. I also enjoyed their lunch offerings, the green chili chicken enchiladas especially. If you give them a shot you won't be disappointed. read more

My friend and I came in early today (new years eve) in hopes for breakfast. There was a sign on the door that they were closed but.... The owner opened the door and invited us in for breakfast. We spent the morning chatting with the owner and his son, and their hospitality was truly wonderful. A moment I will never forget! We ordered the midlander skillet, huevos rancheros and French toast. The food was absolutely spectacular! Hands down the best breakfast I have ever had in Midland (and I'm native). I will 100% be making this a regular spot!! read more

It is a hidden gem in Midland Texas.Wedged in the back of the bank building you'll find the small bistro brewery worth your time. We had the Midland skillet which was very good and my wife had an à la carte a plate with French toast, hashbrowns, sausage, and it was very very good. Service is great. Food is excellent. I am blown away by this place. It used to be a second location for Taco DiVino but is now being run as an independent bistro. The food is very fresh. Portions are generous. Prices are fair. So far, I've tried their beef and shrimp tacos and their green chicken enchiladas which have been better than any Mexican restaurant in town. Seriously. These people do not skimp on quality or flavor. Location is in an alley behind West Texas National Bank. Only signage is on the door so it could be hard to find.
