While I was gone,…read moreI got a message from Fur Ball saying that my aquarium filters were making noise but they had "fixed" them. I came home to find the aquarium filters had been taken apart with a piece floating in the tank. One of my fish got stuck in the disassembled filter and had died. They also had left a bunch of lights on. I messaged Fur Ball about this. They acknowledged that they took the filter apart. They could have easily contacted me first before tampering with my aquarium but they chose not to. There did not give a refund; they did not even a mention that my fish was dead. They ignored my last messages. Pet sitters aren't supposed to kill your pets. They should have contacted me about the aquarium and they should have apologized for what they did. I'm sorry to leave this negative review but this was a pretty disappointing experience. Update: Updating my review based on the response I received below. My fish did indeed die while in their care. I discovered it a couple days after I returned but by then it was decayed because it had been dead for some time. I did mention to them that my fish had died. I hadn't expressed my disappointment because I wanted to maintain a cordial relationship. I've since changed my mind and chose to share my experience.
