Great drinks, great atmosphere, great place to spend an evening! I've been here a handful of times and it never disappoints. I love all the outdoor seating and it's the perfect spot for friends and families to hang out. The Whipped Feta Skillet was AMAZING! I also really like the flatbread. I usually switch up my drinks and this time had a wheat beer that I would definitely go back for. They have fun events like music bingo and in the summer they have outdoor music!

Loud but awesome atmosphere, bartenders are great and the pretzel bites are a must! A good environment to hang out with a great outdoor area. It was too cold when we visited but we will be back for the patio in the warmer months.

I loved our stop at Tall Trellis. We shared a flight and the whipped feta skillet and the buffalo chicken flatbread. I enjoyed each of the beers in our flight. As a sour lover I really liked the margarita sour and left with a 4-pack. I would go back just for that sour. The whipped feta skillet was amazing and had plenty to share and the Buffalo chicken flatbread was great as well. I would order those again when we return (especially the whipped feta!). The outdoor space was perfect for a beautiful day outside and very family friendly. We plan on coming back!

Loved this brewery! It's very family friendly and dog friendly with an outdoor seating area and patio tables. There's also an indoor bar and seating area. We enjoyed beer, beer flights, appetizers, and cocktails. The service was quick and friendly, and someone came around and took our empty plates and cups. The vibes were great and I look forward to going again!

This place gets packed, and for good reason. Great beers and ciders if you aren't a beer fan, a small food menu, and the coolest patio! It's a great place to chill outside and listen to some live music. The entire outside area is surrounded by a tall fence that is covered in hops. Very pretty and relaxing atmosphere. Go check it out when the weather is nice!

Let's start with the positives. The space itself is large, clean, and bright. The service was friendly as well. As far as the beer...the one we tried was not good at all. We didn't try the food, so I can't speak to that (it looked good though), but compared to all of the other amazing local beers in KC, this just didn't hit the spot.

Fun brewery in Olathe! For being right off the highway, it certainly doesn't feel it and it's very easy to access! The patio is spacious and a great place to hang when the weather is great! Live music and food trucks happen (weather pending) on the patios too! With a paved and gravel lot, there's options for seating, running, and playing! Lots of locally brewed beer (including use of hops they grow!) - some of our favorites are the sours and Mexican lagers. They also have guest taps and cocktails, and a wide assortment of N.A. drinks! The food menu has some snacks and meals! The new whipped feta is an easy favorite, but the pretzel sticks are also great. We've been for music bingo, meet ups with friends, date nights, and outings with our pup -- always a great time!

Great location for a place to hangout, catch a sports game or throw a party. Love the trendy upbeat vibe, the separate seating areas and ample outside lounging space. While the kitchen was closed during our visit, a food truck was available on site with delicious empanadas served up sizzling hot.

This $10 "flatbread" looks silly and tastes like nothing.

If you're looking for outdoor patio seating, TT is a great spot! Dog friendly too! I'm happy to see they brew their own beers now. Lots of guest taps and coffees on the menu. The wine is a bit pricey, the flatbread was very basic and the food truck schedule isn't easy to locate on social media or the website. But I would recommend this bar for all beer, coffee and patio lovers. This place is always busy and I'm so happy they're in the "neighborhood"!

Lots of kids running around but still a fun environment, food and service. A place for families and a nice place to stop but for a drink.

Due to the natural beauty of the barns interior, we didn't have to do a lot of decorating. We couldn't have been happier choosing this location for a new chapter in our lives. They also allow your own vendors for your event which is now to have that flexibility. There are few requirements that differ from other venues as this place is a registered historical site, but they are nothing major or very costly that makes or breaks your event. As a heads up, this place is rented out hourly so it's challenging to decorate for a wedding the same day of the event, but it can be done! We highly recommend this place!

The facility offers meeting and wedding space for up to 200ppl and can be booked through the City of Lenexa which keeps the cost affordable. We booked the wedding on a Friday evening which saved even more costs. Saturday weddings book a year out so you'll need to contact them early or camp out to book a spot with the City. Many images can be googled online to show you the facility's offerings. We didn't need to do much for decor as the facility is so clean and classy with brick walls, exposed beam ceiling in the main hall, a full kitchen, meeting rooms for the wedding party to get ready etc. An outdoor courtyard can be used for the ceremony also although it's along I-35 for traffic noise. We did experience problems with the set up, AV equipment and evening staffing but these issues were addressed satisfactorily when we brought them up to management. We'd definitely recommend this air conditioned barn to any bride and groom.

Growing up with a wiry, dusty, artificial tree stoked the desire to get a fresh one someday. Over…read morethe years my wife and I have cut our own, gone to various tree farms, and now with a toddler we wanted to keep it rolling. We saw Cedar Valley Forest and were stoked to try a new spot to get a fresh tree this year; their website shows hayrides, Santa, food trucks, cut-your-own local trees or pre-cut Frasier Firs, cookies, hot cocoa, a tree maze, pretty much the works if you ask me. Now the day we gutted out was just plain crappy weather. It was really cold, drizzly, and really just not pleasant, so maybe that factors in a bit here... but we were left a bit disappointed. There was no Santa which has me reliving some childhood trauma here. There were no food trucks. The tree maze didn't appear open for business. The walk from the parking lot to the forest was a muddy mess, and the grass connecting was basically a mini-river. :::At this point I think it's also safe to admit we might've been forcing the experience a bit::: We had to seek someone out to get some guidance on what we were doing, and they really couldn't have been nicer. Informative, warm and friendly all around. We walked the forest through some beautiful trees, although they were much too tall for our little house. Ended up with a pre-cut Frasier Fir from Michigan, and the crew told us they'd take care of everything, shake it, bag it, bring it up which was nice. I love the tree we picked, but it was about $10-$12 higher than the place we usually go to. We set up the tree which is a reliable way to have a Clark Griswold type of breakdown. We watered it with a gallon of water, but after 24 hours the water hadn't moved a millimeter. Reading about it, the tree needs a fresh cut to take in water and that is something the crew should've done when prepping our tree. So we had to take the whole freakin' thing down, go buy a bow saw, cut an inch off and re-do the process. Pretty frustrating. So if you go here, I hope your experience is better than mine, but it was pretty anti-climactic and I think I would've been better off popping over to a tree lot this year.

Now that the cat's out of the bag, I would just like to say that TJ and the staff were absolutely wonderful!!! My (Now) wife and I could not have asked for a better venue nor staff. They worked with us in every aspect possible...even when they didn't have to. The venue is gorgeous, and I'm sure that anyone who tours this place will have quickly already deduced that information...so let me address some of the concerns I had (And how they were addressed). We wanted Jack Stack (the BBQ place down the street was even better. We were worried 2 hrs of alcoholic drinks wasn't going to be enough For our guests. The bar downstairs was so large and so well stocked people didn't have a problem getting what they needed. I was worried it was too far from downtown (and I mean really worried)...the drive was not a problem for my family (all from out of town)...moreover, they all said it was completely worth it and the venue was excellent. My wife was a little anxious at times...TJ and his staff took care of it. It truly was exactly the wedding I wanted and at times didn't even know how to plan. Bottom line: If you choose this place, you will get a top notch staff with a top tear aesthetic for a reasonable price. If you have only considered venues downtown and Ruled this venue out because of the distance (which is exactly what I did)...don't ...at the very least take a tour of the location. I'll bet you will fall in love with both the staff and the venue. ...Just my 2 cents
