So much has changed over the years. She saw stores come and go, and several restaurants come and go that we used to love so much. There was a burger place with the best espresso milk shakes. There was a stir fry place we loved so much that left that one of the kids cried real tears to see it gone. But today there is still a lot for us to come here for. We really love the addition of Barnes and Noble, where you will find us every time we come here, we love this book store. While it is smaller than some, it typically carries what we are looking for. We love PF Chang's and Shake Shack. I am excited to try Pokeworks at some point. I love Sephora. I am sad that Parisian/ Carsen's went out of business, but we do go to the new store from time to time. Even though this is a tiny outdoor mall, I do come to their events. This event was the Harry Potter Butterbeer Truck activity. I believe I found it first on the official Harry Potter site, then on local advertisements. It was so fun. We actually stood in line for two hours, but it was so nice out, it was worth it just soaking up the Spring air and sunshine and people watching. They have had reindeer and petting farms here during Christmas. I love their Christmas lights. We have gone to their very small art fairs and other outdoor community activities. As some stores close, they seem to find new ones to open and new restaurants, which is great. I hope they continue to plan community activities, we will continue to visit. I am probably here once a week since it is nearby.

The concept of Once Upon a Child is brilliant but there are a lot of cons to it as well. Kind of got to curb your enthusiasm with this place. If you are selling - you are only allowed to bring in so many bins/laundry baskets full of your things. Garbage bags are not allowed. Lately this store has allowed 2 bins to try to sell. Each store is different with how they will take clothes that you want to sell. My favorite is carrying a 20 gallon storage bin and barely being able to open the door - all your pride is out of the window trying to open that door along with your bins. Staff barely acknowledge your presence. There is a kiosk that you have to enter your driver's license in the back of it and this inputs your information. It lets you know how long the wait will be. Depending on the day, I have waited an hour but other times it has been hours and hours, might as well come back the next day. The staff will then hand you your receipt and tag your bin. I try to stick around to shop so then I can use the 15% off coupon they give you when they buy your items. The store is packed - shoes, clothes, books, seasonal items, and toys in between. Most clothes I see are being sold for $7 or less - mostly $5-4 is usually the items I have bought. The clothes are clean and I feel for fast fashion, cheaper to buy here then on Amazon. I asked to see what clothes they took out of curiosity and the staff was adamant that I had to keep the clothes in order of how they were laid in their bin. This store seems to like sports gear like a Lions or Tigers shirt and name brands. The most they have taken from me was 23 items, last time I went they took 16 items but I had my 20 gallon storage bin that was full. You can ask for either store credit or cash. I usually try to buy things while I am there to just make it a wash and use the 15% coupon with my transaction. One staff member was amazing in my many times coming here - otherwise, no customer service and staff seem miserable working there. But as a mom - not left with many choices. There are consignment stores in the area but I don't have time for that. I usually donate my clothes to the Grace Center of Hope - Women and Children's Center. Good luck, moms!

The booth was well organized and displayed a good amount clothing, yoga mats, a chance to win at a drawing, and the "plank-o" game board- which my kids just HAD to play for me. All be damn- they won me a $20 coupon! .....fine print* $20 off purchase of $100 or more. I really wanted one of their mats, they were brightly colored, cool, eco-friendly, and darn grippy. Grippy=good for crazy yoga poses and daring inversion. I really wanted their canary yellow yoga mat! Insert Stephanie to represent LOLE in an awesome way. She seen how excited I was that my kids won me a $20 coupon. My hubby threw in that it was my birthday yesterday. Her and I talked yoga. She gave me a $10 coupon! I bought that beautiful 6mm eco-friendly canary yellow yoga mat for $21.20 and she threw in a over sized reusable yellow sack to carry it home in! I still have the $20 coupon to use in their store, which I can't wait to check out (even I, who hates shopping am excited)! Love my new mat, yes it's awesome. Already broke it in for an hour tonite. They only buy your clothes BEFORE 5:00 PM daily. It is a smaller staff and the owner does all the selection herself to ensure quality products. They do drop off and text you when they are processed, usually by the end of the day or by the next day. I would say their selection is comparable to Nordstrom Rack and Marshalls. You can definitely find some goodies for great prices in this store.
