The space is noticeably bigger than their previous one, which gives them more staging area and space to offer larger pieces of furniture, artwork, and clothing in addition to all the unique goodies they already carried within the store that are smaller scale. Everything here is extremely pricey, which is unfortunate for me given that there are many things I love from here, but I just simply can't justify spending exorbitant amounts of money on these sorts of homegoods and accessories too often. The products they carry are definitely geared towards the more affluent and those with lofty home design ideas, as they also have fabric samples and the like to help you design and customize your furniture and upholstery upon them in the back of the store too. The price tags make sense in the sense that I have not seen any of the products they offer in any other stores in the metro Detroit area, so there's nothing to compare their goods to. This is a great place to window shop or stop in to get inspiration for your home and to pick up a unique piece or two. I'm still thinking about the tatted up Albert Einstein piece of artwork (included in the photos!), which I love so much, but even just the print of it without it framed was already $70-80 and that's a hard price to justify even for hot Albert Einstein! I like how every time I stop in to Talulah Belle, there's always new discoveries to be had. They clearly refresh their stock frequently and it's always great to stop in here for inspiration and intentionally unique gifts for the loved ones in your life...including yourself!

All of the possible classes are listed in their website. I would be hard to pick a favorite class. Each of the classes is taught by a different artist or expert in that class. There are 2 different areas where the classes are taught one in the back and one in the middle section. The website has a description of each class that is offered as well as the requirements that you need to bring for the class. The ability to walk out with a project that you learned how to make is priceless. I highly recommend going to a class at My New Favorite Thing or just going shopping. I got to the mall for a release of a sought after item at 9:00 a.m. store was to open at 10:00 a.m. this store has two doors. What this store also has is no education handling crowd central. They allowed people in the twenties to wait inside (most logical) and then we found out there was an even longer line outside. When we tried to tell the store this a woman who is usually mean on a good day scoffed at us and only yelled though the door that she would be opening both doors at once (a safety issue) this woman is a middle aged woman with her hair up and I think it was green. She has never been kind. Today was worse. She made it her goal to let the other people in first even though we did the right thing by standing outside the store in the mall. There was a two limit per person (a joke) as people in line were calling the other outside line as families were manning both lines with multiple people per family to buy two per everyone in their party. So most families passed the "system" and worked both lines. What's the worst part of all of this? The owner Jenna was there during all of this. It could have been civilized. It could have been organized. A number per person. Staff calming people down. Not having three and under children working when you have two lines to get through. I can't recommend this store any longer. Nothing about today showed that they cared about fairness. And for the horrible employee with the green bun, you work in a toy store have some compassion towards others. You are always angry and awful to approach and you are the last reason this store lost a customer today. You are simply cruel in an unusual way.

Their goal is to support other local small businesses by stocking their products. They display local artists works on the walls for sale as well. They carry a large assortment of adult and children's books, as well as gift items and puzzles. I try to make a point of stopping by at least once a week because there is always something new in the store. They are constantly rearranging displays and making room for new stock so you'll always find new things. If they don't have the book in stock, they are happy to try to order it for you. They schedule author book signing events, and other fun themed activities. They also have a Libro.fm link that you can purchase audiobooks from that helps support them and also other independent booksellers. Make it a point to stop by and visit this store.
