Since there was additional leftover food due to the no-show from the other party, our party was able to take some of the additional leftover food back to our hotel. Our guide also took pictures of our party throughout the tour and gave us a one-time-download QR code to scan and save those photos for free. Our guide also went over the history of Downtown Las Vegas and Tony Hsieh (CEO of Zappos)'s $350 million Downtown Project (the revitalization of the Fremont East Entertainment District and its surrounding area in Downtown Las Vegas). [Carson's Kitchen - Crispy Chicken Skins, "Devil's" Eggs, Young Beets, Killer Shrimp]: I had been to this eatery in 2022 and wasn't quite impressed with chicken skins, but this time our party was presented with additional dishes and I actually liked the Killer Shrimp and Devil's Eggs. [Le Thai - Crispy Spring Roll, Waterfall Beef, Chicken Pad Kee Mow, Short Rib Fried Rice]: Waterfall beef, short rib fried rice, and pad kee mow were good and hit the spot. Our party paid extra for a separate Thai iced tea and it was surprisingly good - a very balanced drink and not overly sweet. [Oak & Ivy]: I got myself a mocktail and it was decent. [7th & Carson - Curry Pasty, Grilled Pear + Burrata, Potato Gnocchi]: The no-show party ordered Carson Cooler (Absolut Elyx, blood orange, thyme, cucumber, lemon, honey) and the tour guide gave the drink to our party for free - apparently the drink was amazing and tasted very refreshing. Out of the three dishes, the potato gnocchi was the best one with a crispy texture from the kale, tender short rib, and chewy gnocchi. [Conclusion]: The tour lasted 2.5 hours and it was worth every penny. Not only did our party have completely full stomachs and skip same-day dinner, but our party also had so much leftover food that we ended up giving a portion of the leftovers to other friends and still had enough leftovers to skip lunch the following day. I would definitely consider doing another Lip Smacking Foodie Tour next time our party comes to Vegas. P.S. - Please don't forget to tip the guide. A tour bus picked us up (and dropped us off) from/at our hotel. During the time we were on our way to "base" where the cars are lined up. Leo told us a little history about the town and some interesting places. It took about 20 minutes until we go to the base, and he explained how the process works, how to drive the cars, etc... The cars can go fast but you'll be doing 30 mph Max (if so). You'll be driving in bicycle lanes all the way up to the High Point, and you'll stop in 4 different spots along the way!! One thing I wish there was available would be bathrooms at base. The only bathrooms in our stops were the second stop and the last stop, and those are public restrooms, no need to say more! The second stop (after you get to base and drive) actually has a nice rest area with gorgeous back drops - perfect for Instagram (lol). Check the pic we took. This is the best social distancing activities and it's a great way to see the nature. Go in the 8 am slot tho...bring sunscreen and water will be provided in the second stop, however bring your own anyways. Highly recommend Leo and this tour.

The cost is known up front. A few of the other tours do not include the fee charged by the Navajo. Booking was simple on the website. I actually wanted another date that wasn't available. I emailed GC, and received a quick reply as to potential date changes. From Las Vegas to Antelope Canyon, it's an early call. We had to be ready by 6:30am. Our tour guide kept us informed about what we were doing, -- going to the other hotels for the pickups and how many more stops before we actually get on the road. He gave us information about the area as we were driving out of town. He seemed to know the right amount of talking to do on the trip. Since it was early, some wanted to do a little napping. Our tour guide was very conscientious to make sure we made our appointment to the Navajo tour. He said if we were late, our tickets would be sold to walkups. Going to and from, there were enough bathroom stops and our tour guide made sure to tell us how many hours it would be before our next bathroom break. I felt the driving was safe and responsible but not meek. He had to pass cars or else we probably wouldn't get back until the next day. When he passed, it wasn't reckless. It is a long drive, and it was great leaving the driving to GC Tours. We didn't return to Las Vegas until about 9:00pm. The only disappointment was that GC was very busy and they had to use a rental van so there weren't the captain's chair seats in the van. It was a great tour. Antelope Canyon is beautiful.

Really a huge fan of the book Ricky put together that they bring on tours for people who prefer visual and auditory learning. It's a really comprehensive tour that focuses a lot of mob and sex worker history, both of which are very interesting and worth preserving to me! The emphasis on block 16 was incredible, I don't think I've seen another tour guide talk about this or include it in their tour details at all. TLDR: Ricky is always just as excited to give you this tour as you are to take it-- and it shows! A must-do for fans of Fremont, the mob, and old vegas history!
