The result turned out even better than I expected (see attached photo)! She really listened to what I wanted and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I will absolutely be recommending her to everyone I know!

Book your appointment today: call or text 803-549-5483! Columbia, SC & Savannah, GA. My name is Dasha, and I am a licensed Permanent Makeup & Tattoo Artist with over five years of experience. I began my journey in Columbia, South Carolina, where I quickly established myself as a top artist at one of the leading salons in the state-recognized for my precision, artistry, and commitment to natural-looking, long-lasting results. Today, I proudly continue working in Columbia while also growing my own brand and private studio in Savannah, Georgia, with the vision of building it into a space just as trusted and successful. I received my professional training in Ukraine at the prestigious Orex Academy, where I developed a deep passion for permanent makeup. My expertise includes a range of advanced techniques such as Powder Brows, Ombre Brows, Nano Hair Strokes, Lash Line Enhancement, Classic Eyeliner, and Lip Blushing-with a special focus on Aquarelle Lips, a soft, elegant style I demonstrated at Skin Summit 2024. In addition to permanent makeup, I specialize in fine line tattoos-minimalistic, delicate designs that blend effortlessly with the natural beauty of the skin. Each piece is created with care, intention, and a refined sense of aesthetics.

I stopped by one week to talk to someone about an idea I saw online and was greeted with friendly faces and a genuine sense that they cared about my ideas. Tried to stop at another large place on W Victory before I found Riverside and was met with a lobby full of people vaping pen devices who acted like they had better things to do then help me out with my idea. Only a few of them at that place acknowledged me and once we started talking they talked very poorly of other artist/shops in the area claiming all their people are the best and that their pricing was the "standard". When I'm ready to get a tattoo I'd rather do it with people who don't act like they are interested or speak poorly about others in their community. Like the people at Riverside Tattoo!

I was having really bad anxiety on the day of my tat, so she suggested that we dance it out and we did. Josie is a blessing and a gift. Josie, you'll forever be a part of me now. Thank you for what you did. Your power is great! And I'm always gonna think of you when I do the Lizzo dance now.

First, an excessive amount of essential oil was used, far more than is typically appropriate. At no point was I asked about my comfort level, preferences, or whether I wanted head or face work. If I had been asked, I would have declined. Instead, my hair was taken out of my updo without permission, completely rubbed out, and my face was massaged with essential oil still on the therapist's hands -- none of which I consented to. The therapist also left the room for about two minutes without saying a word. Proper protocol is to inform the client before stepping away so they feel safe and aware of what's happening. Draping was another major issue. When I turned over, it was clear the therapist did not know how to properly drape to protect client modesty. If I had not been wearing underwear, I would have been exposed. Additionally, during upper‑chest work, the hand placement went beyond the appropriate area, which made me uncomfortable. The most alarming part of the session was that the treatment room door was left half open during my massage. Combined with improper draping, this created a situation where I could have easily been exposed to anyone walking by. Clean facility and friendly staff aside, these issues are unacceptable. I hope this review encourages better training and awareness, because no client should ever feel unsafe or exposed during a massage.

I am giving it 2 stars though for convenient location & cleanliness of the entire salon. I personally would not recommend.

When I called, I received a voicemail box that told me to make an appointment via the exact site I used. I left a voicemail stating that I was at a location that does not, in fact, exist and could someone please call me back. I never received a callback, and that was about 2 weeks ago. Fortunately, I opted to pay later and didn't have to worry about trying to get my money back. If the Whitaker St location is no longer a valid salon location, they need to remove it from their website so others don't get duped into making appointments and/or paying ahead for appointments that won't be honored.
