I made an appointment and still had to wait an hour before being helped... luckily I had nowhere else to be because it took up my whole afternoon. after waiting an hour, it took another 2.5 hrs for a mani/pedi that was subpar at best. no lotion was used at all. my "long lasting gel mani that is supposed to last longer than dip" only lasted 3 days before they chipped off and 5 days later were completely off. it was also outrageously overpriced. after tip and all i paid roughly $130, which i have never paid anywhere else ever before. I am giving it 2 stars though for convenient location & cleanliness of the entire salon. I personally would not recommend. read more

The Whitaker St. salon location does not exist. It's an empty storefront that is locked and inaccessible. I made an appointment via their website, which listed this as the address. When I called, I received a voicemail box that told me to make an appointment via the exact site I used. I left a voicemail stating that I was at a location that does not, in fact, exist and could someone please call me back. I never received a callback, and that was about 2 weeks ago. Fortunately, I opted to pay later and didn't have to worry about trying to get my money back. If the Whitaker St location is no longer a valid salon location, they need to remove it from their website so others don't get duped into making appointments and/or paying ahead for appointments that won't be honored. read more

Alex is very nice and quickly accommodated us on short notice. HOWEVER, be warned. I paid $90 + tip NINETY DOLLARS for a gel "manicure" and SNS removal. The nail shape is inconsistent and the gel work is uneven. There was no soak, no lotion. Just some (very rough) cuticle trimming and polish. I'm honestly going to be surprised if this last past a week. Meanwhile my friend got a mani/pedi for $85 with regular polish. Again, no massage, lotion, etc. We were there a total of 3 hours and the polish was smudged immediately after leaving and the money is down the drain. We are only in town for three days and this cut into our trip budget significantly. Never in my life have I paid over $100 for a crumby manicure until today. I'm so disappointed in both the unreasonable price and the overall outcome of our nails. Only leaving two starts because the location is very nice and despite the poor job, she was very nice, helpful, and gave us some tips on places to visit. read more

I was in Savannah for the day, and I really needed to get my nails done. I had my gel on for 3.5 weeks and it was growing out and just didn't look great. I called Polished and was able to get an appointment within two hours. The salon is beautiful! It was so clean and bright inside. Everyone who works there is so nice! It was really a challenge to get the gel manicure off - we're talking multiple rounds of acetone and a decent amount of scraping but my manicurist (I'm so sorry I forgot her name!!!) was so patient and so nice about it all. I love that they use Zoya (which I think is 5 free or 7 free nail polish) and that the salon didn't smell like chemicals. I definitely recommend Polished Beauty Lounge! I'm so glad I found it. read more

LaDell Beauty Bar Salon - Purple manicure with a glitter party nail - Nail Salons Near Me - Savannah, Georgia

I really wanted to love this place. Odell is so sweet and a beautiful human being. But my gel pedicure took 90 min without cuticle care, two of the nails lost polish within 1 day, and 1 week after service, I only have half of the color. read more

LaDell Beauty Bar Salon - GEL pedicure after one week! - Nail Salons Near Me - Savannah, Georgia

I want to start off by saying this was not all bad! The massage she gave me and my boyfriend was amazing, and the decor was cute but I honestly would never recommend this to anyone... if you get your nails/toes done regularly and you pay attention to what they are doing you know the process of a gel pedicure and how they should look after. I had gel on my toes previously and I don't think she owned a drill because she only scratched the remainder gel off ... My toe nails look blotchy, they are not opaque, they have no top coat on them. I'm going to either have to take these off when I get home or go spend money again to get them done properly... i wish I asked her to just take it all off read more

I walked in to this salon without an appointment and was able to take me right away! Alex was wonderful and was able to "fix" a damaged toenail so you can't even tell how bad it looked before (see photo). In 20 years + no nail tech has ever recommended a gel nail to replace the damaged and I think it looks great! She also gave my husband his first pedicure. :) lovely space and very relaxing afternoon for us both. read more

I was looking for a local salon to get a regular manicure. I walked in and the place looked clean. I use my own polish and they said they would give me 10% off. Never has that offered anywhere before. The person who gave me the manicure was veRy personal and loved to talk Maybe too much. But I wasn't in a hurry. The utensils didn't appear to be sanitized and the table was very small. My manicure was fair at best. She did a poor job filing my naIls and awful job with the polish. One day later and my polish is already chipping. The worse part was the bill. $35!!!! What a rip off. I go to a beauty salon at home and pay $23 for a professional manicure This place is a rip! read more

What a wonderful experience for My friend and I! Love Alex and Emma!! They engage in conversation and are just so fun. I think this has been my most fun pedi ever lol!! The salon is gorgeous and we thank them for taking us as walk ins with a big welcoming smile. Definitely recommend!! We'll definitely be back next time we are in Savannah. Thanks ladies! Happy New Year!! read more

We made a last minute appointment for three pedicures, and they could not have been more accommodating! Kim, Emma, and Alex were amazing. They were so friendly and did a great job on our nails. We had a great time! The location was absolutely lovely. Everything was clean and I appreciated the big comfy pillows on the pedicure chairs. I definitely recommend if you're in Savannah! read more

Everyone was nice and the place was clean and pretty, so I'm sorry to give such a bad review, but I paid $55 for a no-chip mani and one polish started lifting off the same day! By the second day, 5 nails had chipped/polish lifted off. I was on vacay, so I wasn't doing anything aggressive with my nails and didn't even wash any dishes. Unfortunately, I'm not in town, so couldn't go back to get anything fixed. read more

LaDell Beauty Bar Salon - This pic is after 3 days! Started lifting off on day 1! - Nail Salons Near Me - Savannah, Georgia

No idea how this place has such a high rating. The lady there was nice enough, but did a very poor job. I didn't want polish on my toes, but when it came to polish on my fingers... it was uneven and clumpy. Most of her effort was put into my foot soak and scrub. Literally no effort into my nails. I immediately went to a cvs and bought polish remover and removed the polish in the park nearby. I do not recommend this place and will not be going back. read more

I was in Savannah a few weeks ago for my wedding. The day before, my bridesmaids and I had reservations at another local nail spa to spend the afternoon. However, the day before the salon canceled due to staffing issues. That's where Polished comes in. We called and they made the arrangements to take all eight of us in at the last minute. When we arrived we were greeted by the most friendly and professional staff I've ever encountered at a nail salon. They really made the day special for us, laughing and joking around with us the entire afternoon. In addition to amazing staff, the spa itself was extremely clean and bright. The scrubs, which I believe they said they are made on site or are from a local vendor, came in various scents and left our skin feeling soft and glowing. I had a regular pedicure and gel manicure, both of which lasted the wedding and my honeymoon. I'll definitely be going again the next time I'm in town and would 10000000% recommend Polished to anyone looking for a great mani/pedi! read more

This was an amazing experience! Avilene was a joy and took such time with me! I agree with the last recommendation. This was the best manicure I've ever had! Made the drive from Wisconsin worth every penny! Best wishes to Avilene in her pursuits!! read more

Best mani-pedi I have ever had! It's a charming little salon in the historic district. Ask for Alex and you will not be disappointed. I wish I lived in Savannah because I would go to Alex regularly. She's hands down the best. read more

I used to never get my nails done, but after one sitting with Alex (@nailedit.360), I'm obsessed! I go every three weeks religiously now. I'm constantly complemented on my nails. There's no better feeling! We're always throwing ideas around before the next appointment and will willingly add any color/nail art accessory I'm looking to add. I truly cherish my appointment! read more

So, who has the unmitigated gall to send a request for an appointment time that falls outside of a business' operating hours? The same person who glossed over their hours when looking for a mani/pedi urgent care to do something about ravaged cuticles. And...that person would be ME! Yes, folks, I stumbled across Polished Beauty Lounge on Google/Yelp, paid no attention to their hours, sent a message requesting an appointment AFTER hours, and guess what! The owner accommodated my request. Beyond epitomizing a customer-centric business model, the nail salon is beautiful. I felt as though I had stepped off of the streets of Savannah and into a city on the Mediterranean. The vibe was extremely relaxing and soothing. The services were great. The technicians were entertaining. As far as I'm concerned, I will never have to look for another mani/pedi urgent care in Savannah because I will be on their doorstep every time I'm in town. read more

Was able to get an appointment the same day. Had a manicure using Shelac gel done and was very pleased. The quality of the treatment was very good, and the gel polish was really well applied. My hands look beautiful. Thank you! read more

I have never been so satisfied with a mani/pedi! It was so easy to schedule a last minute appointment with Kim! Emma is very knowledgeable and was such a personable person. And the lady that did my friend's nails (maybe her name was Alex?) was also very cool! The whole vibe of the place was just SO relaxing!!!! The whole staff was amazing! Will definitely be back next time we visit! read more

I scheduled and paid in full for a manicure/pedicure a day prior to my wedding. However, when I showed up to the salon for my appointment, it was locked and no one was there. I made several attempts to contact someone at the number listed without success. I finally received a phone call back from the owner/manager who said the person who was supposed to provide services had a last minute emergency and that the owner/manager herself would be there to help me and that she would call me when she arrived. I did not ever receive a call that she arrived. My fiance and I spend more than 2 hours waiting and received no services, no apologies, and no refund. It has been very difficult to get ahold of anyone via phone and I have yet to receive a refund and instead was blamed for no-showing the appointment. I understand that things happen that are outside of our control, but then good customer service should take over to make things right. I ended up needing to involve my bank to assist with obtaining a refund for services never rendered. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. read more

I LOVE Polished!!! Amber and Alex are just the best! Thank you both so much for my amazing Christmas nails! I always get the 2 weeks manicure and it always lasts way longer than the 2 weeks and I've never had an issue with my nails breaking, chipping or peeling. I always look forward to my visits, the girls are all so welcoming and Kathryn does the best job with my eyebrow waxing too! I'll be back soon! Thank y'all so much! read more

See all

Alex took her time with my toes. They look great. The scrub was wonderful. No lotion though. As a nurse, I'm on my feet 99% of my 14 hour day and use my hands a lot. My manly manicure (no polish) was done well, but no scrub or lotion. I don't know whether or not this was because it was a manly manicure or CoVID-19. read more

Execellent client service, answered my yelp message promptly and got me in same day. Pleasant techs, very clean processes. Large assortment of polish colors and other skin care products. Definitely a destination when in Savannah. read more

Great manicure!! Salon was so easy to make an appointment at, COVID procedures were followed, color section was great, and the finished product was beautiful. You could also tell the salon takes great pride in the products they choose to use. A+ all around! read more

Hello! I recently came to your shop for a mani/pedi the day before my elopement. I received excellent service from a young lady whose name escapes me at the moment, and enjoyed the attention to detail and pampering. It was the best treat in preparation for my big day. My yellow nails were a hit and accented the look and feel of our wedding. Our wedding weekend was flawless, and I am so grateful for the service I received from your team before my big day! As frequent Savannah visitors, I definitely plan to be back for another great mani/pedi. read more

Beautiful salon - I've done pedicures here twice. The technician even turned on Pandora Disney for my daughter. Their color selections are immense and it's hard to choose from so many gorgeous colors. I wish they took more walk-ins and weren't so short staffed. read more

Bad vibes. Nail tech was constantly looking at her phone in front of me, would disappear to the "back" for long amounts of time and would ask a question but "zone out" when I responded. It was the weirdest salon experience I have ever had. No parking, and I had a ticket when I returned to my car (my fault because I was nervous about being late for my appt.) Bonus: received an incoherent text from the new owner, laced with bad grammar and misspelled words, never addressing my unpleasant experience, but imploring me to remain a patron. Swipe left on this place, for sure. read more

Thrilled to grab a last-minute pedicure appointment for a Saturday morning.

Updated review: Management at the salon did contact and appologzied for my service, as well as, offered a refund since I was no longer in Savannah. I still am unsure if I would re-visit the salon in the future but it shows their desire to commitment for great customer service. read more

I'm in Savannah for a few days and managed to partially tear a nail, so I wanted to get it mended before it ripped off entirely. I was a walk in at the start of their day but there was no problem taking care of me. I explained what I needed and they spelled out exactly what would be done and how much it would cost. I was given the option to prepay and pretip so I wouldn't mess my polish at the end. I was so pleased with the process and the results. This salon gets an A+ for cleanliness, friendliness and service. read more
