This location has been consistent since I've started visiting. They can have an off day or2 but that's usually because of staff. I 4got 2get a Frito Pie whilst I was there & so I'll have2 make my way back soon. I'm willing 2say if U try this location U won't be disappointed. Check em out if you're ever in the neighborhood. Or drive there jus 4 dinner lunch or even breakfast

I just got my order from doordash. Under the instructions i asked for the meat well done it wasn't, it was more onion and peppers than actual meat. I asked for an extra salsa and didn't even get the ONE it comes with. For being $14 I feel ripped off. I called and they said they weigh the order and that's how it is, when I brought up the salsa they told me I wasn't charged for the extra, would've been nice to get at least some salsa.

We needed an early dinner in the Belmar area and I noticed the restaurant had a branch there, so we decided to check it out. What a smart decision that was! The space is absolutely beautiful with a large outdoor patio and a gorgeous interior which goes very successfully for a coastal Baja California vibe. Seating was very comfortable. The staff was particularly welcoming when we said it was our first visit. Our server was pleasant, knowledgeable, and very efficient. We never felt neglected although the restaurant got extremely busy toward the end of our visit. There were many interesting drinks on the menu. I started with the Elderflower Prickly Pear Margarita. This was fresh, unusual, and delicious. A nice change from the typical margarita. I enjoyed it. The menu is not huge. It includes many of the usual suspects: a good selection of tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, a quesadilla, bowls, and some neat combination plates. We started with the usual chips and salsa. I also ordered the Guacamole. The chips were crispy and the salsa was excellent with a nice level of heat. The guacamole was fabulous. A large portion of very chunky avocado, beautifully seasoned. We attacked that with enthusiasm and scraped every speck out of the bowl. My girlfriend went with the Double Decker Taco Plate. This came with two huge, house-marinated, carne asada (steak) tacos, black bean puree, lettuce, jack and white cheddar, guajillo (red chili sauce) ranch, and pico--neatly served in a corn tortilla wrapped in a flour tortilla. There was also a dish of rice and black beans. I'm having trouble describing how delicious these tacos were. A perfect combination of flavors with meat that was very tender and extremely flavorful. No shortcuts here, just cooking from the heart. I wanted to try several things so I ordered the Nomada's Best of Plate. A Birria Taco, Chicken Enchilada (green sauce), and Crispy Carnitas (shredded, crisped, braised pork) plus rice and beans. Again, the flavors were amazing. This kitchen really understands low and slow. The meats were all tender, lucious, and deeply flavored. I enjoyed every bite. The portions were generous. We took home three boxes of leftovers and can't wait for lunch time so we can enjoy them. This is an exceptional restaurant, well-run in every aspect. There are three convenient locations around town: this one in Belmar, another in Olde Town Arvada, and a third in Central Park. What are you waiting for? Check this out now!

Disappointing and exclusionary service for our first visit…read more *date of service: 7/28/26 arrived at 5pm - parking ended at 6:01pm My child and I visited the Lakewood location and were the first table seated outdoors to the left of the patio. Unfortunately, the service we received was incredibly slow and left us feeling completely ignored. Shortly after we sat down, another group was seated next to us. When the waitress brought waters, I politely declined mine. Instead of returning to take our order, she skipped us entirely to take the neighbor's order first. A few minutes later, the manager came out to warmly welcome them, congratulate them on their first visit, and offer them free items. Despite it being our first time at the restaurant as well, the manager never acknowledged our table, never said hello, and completely ignored our presence as he walked past us, to enter a side door on the patio. Service remained slow throughout the night, and we were never even given the opportunity to order a second drink. Frustrated after extended wait times, we decided to cut our night short. I asked for the bill and an order of 3 birria tacos to go. The waitress took my card and immediately swiped it on a handheld device without showing me a total or a receipt first. Noticing my discomfort, she stated she would bring out a receipt. When the manager brought out our to-go food, he did not have a receipt. I had to ask for one, and he returned with a paper that only showed the date, time, and total amount--not an itemized breakdown of what I was charged. I had to ask a third time for an itemized receipt and requested he write his name on it. Then he finally asked if everything was okay, I waited until I had the proper receipt in hand to explain the entire situation calmly. He refused to write his name on the receipt. Clearly unprepared, he just repeatedly called out "ma'am" as we walked away. By the third ma'am, I firmly said have a good evening and left. We left feeling unwelcome and undervalued. Paid almost $100 for 2 people. As the tacos did have good flavor, the "guac" was basic, seemed like they just barely smashed some avocado's together and topped it off with a sprinkle of pepper & bell pepper? We ordered a big tub of it, left most of it. We will not be returning.

A three percent credit card fee. I despise credit card fees and often avoid places that charge them. Aside from the two points I made above, this restaurant was fantastic. I received a fifty percent off coupon in the Money Nailer and decided to give it a shot. I invited my brother in law and headed over. Plentiful and close in parking. The outside of the building is rather basic but the inside is nothing but vibrant colors and beautiful decorations. The color schemes really worked for me. We were seated within a minute of walking in the door and had chips and salsa thirty seconds later. Our drink order was taken immediately and the woman taking the order was friendly and pleasant. Our waiter, showed up a few minutes later and took our order. I ordered the fish taco salad and my brother in law ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp fajitas. Both meals showed up in about 15 minutes and were piping hot and fresh. I could hear the fajitas sizzling for a full two minutes. My fish taco salad was amazing and I enjoyed every bite. The bacon wrapped shrimp fajitas looked and smelled incredible. My brother in law said they tasted as good as they smelled and looked. We also shared a shrimp cocktail that knocked my panties off. Or, would have, had I been wearing any. LoL. This was a great lunch and I will happily return. I really hope they read this and clean the menus. Very unattractive.

I don't remember what I ordered though so at the time it just wasn't very stand out-ish. I recently went back with some friends because I told them I was in the mood for tacos. I tried a few different ones, the Carnitas, the Barbacoa, and the Lengua. I was full with three, but it was so good. I ordered a fourth and my husband who normally gets my leftovers - didn't get any leftovers from me this time! He got a couple different tacos from what I had largely. We ordered about the same, but he got the shrimp which he said was delicious as well. I also tried the signature, Bellanova margarita - I must say that was a little unexpected, not your traditional margarita it was very sweet, so probably not something I'd order again since I prefer stronger tasting drinks, but the coconut flavor in it was delicious if you like coconut. The service was excellent! When we arrived, the interior was super packed and super loud so I was very relieved when we got to sit on the back patio, which turned out great because even though there was a little noise there, we were able to hear each other much better. The server was excellent. She kept checking on us. She answered all our questions and was very kind and accommodating. I've been thinking about the tacos since then, it's been about a week, I can't wait to go back.

I'll admit, I have had not so great meal once before and yet it wasn't horrible in any way. The Grilled Chicken Breast (Pollo Asada) dish I had the past Friday was indeed nowhere near disappointing. Although the meat wasn't super tender, the overall flavor and seasoning on everything was simply just right. The portion (not to mention) was generous as well (they included 4 pieces of corn tortillas for me!!) The ambiance is that of the family-owned old-time diner feel; some may say it's a bit outdated and yet I can easily call that "old-fashioned" in a good way. I have never found it dirty or messy ever. It's a bit out of the way for me (from my DTC house) and yet I choose Jaime's if/when I see fit. My good friend who lives only a few minutes from it cherishes this place. I thus support Jaime's!!

We understand that prices have gone up everywhere, and most people expect that. What's disappointing isn't the higher prices, it's the decline in customer service, smaller portions, and the feeling that longtime customers are no longer valued. My elderly mother recently dined there with seven friends. They requested separate checks and were charged $1.50 per check, along with a large-party fee. While those fees are posted on the menu, no one in the group noticed them beforehand, making it an unpleasant surprise. Even more disappointing, a fly landed on one woman's burrito . She politely asked for a fresh replacement, but after waiting a long time, the waitress insisted she had asked for it "to go" and argued with her instead of simply making it right. Everyone at the table heard her request a replacement for the table. On top of that, menu prices have increased at least twice in the past year, while portions have continued to shrink. Friends who used to eat here once or twice a week have stopped going because nearly $20 for four tacos without beans or rice simply doesn't feel like a good value anymore. Loyal customers helped make Jaime's the neighborhood favorite it became. I hope management remembers that, because great customer service and appreciation for longtime patrons are what keep people coming back.

I mean seriously!! They care about their customers that get satisfied with their service and meals. And it does draw a very diverse crowd from the Hispanics to Caucasians to Asians, I mean you name it. They also get a lot of to-go orders. Some people came in, grabbed their food and went on their way for the night. My friend got the Torta Los Carboncito. This is a massive sandwich with plenty of meat inside. Since the menu has colored picofor almost each item, what caught my attention was the fish dish. There are two of them: one is trout and the other is something else (I forgot) but I got me the non-trout one. The lady asked me if I wanted the flour or corn tortillas so I went with the corn one. As soon as I got home, my late night snacking started. I only took several bites out of that whatever the huge fish. And oh my goodness, it was so delicious! Well-seasoned with very light salt. Although I mainly got it for tomorrow morning/lunch I had a hard time quit eating because of its deliciousness. Extremely welcoming staff (I even met the owner, Alex as he was dining with his family), quality food and value pricing, this place checks out for the hidden gem restaurant that's not necessarily super fancy but it's worth every penny and time.
