My sister took me here for an early birthday lunch today, 11/17/25. This is one of our favorite Italian restaurants and we have been dining here for decades and have never been disappointed!! What we both love is that the food and service are always consistent. Our server, Nick, recommended the lunch special: 1/2 chicken parmigiana and 1/2 rigatoni with boneless short ribs. I rarely order anything other than my favorites, however, I decided to order this. I absolutely made the right decision!! As usual, there was plenty left to take home. My sister order an appetizer from the dinner menu: eggplant rolitini, which was outstanding. Furthermore, the dining area was clean and comfortable, we sat at a booth. I hope that your experience is as wonderful as ours.

We have been visiting cafe Jordan's since they opened many many years ago! The quality of the food has never changed it has actually gotten better. We started with a very large amount of delicious mussels in a garlic white wine sauce. I always get Bob's favorite. My mom had the gnocchi with sausage and we both had the daiquiri Italiano- delish!! Paul was our waiter and was attentive and kind. When I'm visiting my mom we always come for dinner.

Turns out I've known the owner for over 38 years. We met when we were waitresses a couple different places we worked in downtown Denver. Every time I come to town I have to try to catch her, most times I don't, but I still go and eat the food. The place has many pictures of her family history and her as a baby in Italy. Her restaurant has grown beyond comprehension. It's good, beautiful and always reliable food. We had the sausage pepper, onion sandwich, and Bob's favorite. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Came here for an early dinner before my niece's play tonight. This was close to the venue, but pretty pleased that the place was really, really delicious! We all sat down and there was water and fresh bread waiting for us. Skipped apps and I ordered the tortellini alla panna (cream sauce, peas, prosciutto, and I asked to omit the mushrooms) my family all had different dishes. I was never my niece who had the kids mac n cheese (penne cooked I a parm cream sauce), my nephew had the rigatoni bolognese that he had two meatballs on top. As a side dish I went with the minestrone. Heidi was our server and she handled out large group very professionally, friendly, and quickly. Some needed boxes but I'll admit I did not. My pasta was that good! Thanks to the people here at Cafe Jordano. Good timing, good location, great food! Support small owned businesses!

This family-owned Italian restaurant has been around a long time, and the homey comfort food represents it well. It's located in a small strip mall in Lakewood, Colorado, but seems to have plenty of room, which filled up quickly during the dinner service. Plenty of free off-street parking in the mall lot, which was a great convenience. Upon arrival, were waited a bit to be greeted, as the front desk was visiting some seated customers, but once greeted was shown to our reserved table even though our party was 100% complete. Service overall was quick in the beginning, but once the restaurant filled up, our server seemed to disappear for long periods and refills were a bit of a wait. Thankfully, the bus staff were all very attentive. Complimentary bread and oil/balsamic were on the table to start and once ordered the dishes were served hot and presented nicely. All were a nice representation of Italian flavors, Chicken Parmesan, Grilled chicken two ways, and an order of the daily special, all the entrees came with a simple side salad or daily soup. The standout was the light white sauce that was with the grilled chicken entrees, light and rich for the pasta and a great consistency to use the bread to soak up the excess. The portions were good too, with many of taking leftovers home. Overall, the timing of the service was a bit slow, but the food was very good, and it would be worth a return visit. Tips for your visit: To avoid a possible wait, try arriving a bit earlier for dinnertime, and for a quieter atmosphere, the add-on room has a nice space between tables.

This is our favorite Italian restaurant - by far one of the best family restaurants. Genuine Italian food and lots of it. We've tried so many of their entrees and never been disappointed. The meatballs are huge and the lasagna has so many layers it looks like it could topple over any minute- but it doesn't. Unfortunately not open on Sunday People there are so friendly, it's like visiting old friends. Desserts are fabulous

Can they accommodate gluten free requests?

I have celiac disease and I must say that this is one of my favorite places to eat. Everything can be gluten free except the meatballs. It's wonderful.

It looked more like a Chinese restaurant than a pizza joint--red tablecloths, wine glasses, neon signs, a random Christmas tree, and tons of weird little decorations. We legit thought we were in the wrong spot. The menu was labeled as pizza and pasta, but there weren't many options for either. The combos were kind of all over the place--lamb, octopus, pork--so we tried to keep an open mind. But once the food came... yeah, it didn't get better. The pizza dough tasted frozen and was super soggy. The pasta dish was mostly meat with barely any pasta, and the meat wasn't even good. It just wasn't it. Wouldn't go back.

We tried the following this time: Burrata e Pomodori Luxuriously creamy Burrata cheese, complemented by fresh basil, juicy tomatoes, and a drizzle of olive oil. A simple yet divine start. Costolette di Agnello e Asparagi Juicy lamb chops paired with crisp asparagus, delivering rich, aromatic flavors that melt in your mouth. Branzino al Vino Bianco Pan-seared seabass with olives, butter, lemon, black risotto. 10" Margherita Mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, and basil on a perfectly crisp crust--classic simplicity done right. Mini Cannoli Homemade Ricotta Filing with mini Chocolate chip, stuffed with maraschino cherries, shell imported from Italy, and sprinkled with Powdered Sugar & Cinnamon. The favorite of the night was the Branzino. Definitely order this and their Burrata. The Mini Cannoli with the big flavor gets a two thumbs up as well.

The concept of it being inside a home is very interesting. The food here is amazing especially their Caesar Salad. That salad was so delicious we wanted to order some to go. Now the reason why this place is getting three stars because 1. The service here is horrible! 15-25 minute wait for our server to come back around and check in on us. It wasn't just us either but it was everyone else in the room. Saw a couple that waited about 25 minutes just to be checked up on after being seated. We also never asked for our bill yet and it was given to us without us asking. We wanted to order more food after our entree. Hence why we never got to order our Caesar salad. 2. This one was the most disappointing part of our dinner. We ordered tiramisu for our dessert, once served I noticed a glossy chunky on it, assuming it was maybe crystallized sugar. Wrong. It was a chunk of ice!! The tiramisu WAS STILL FROZEN!! For 12 bucks I can get some better tiramisu at king soopers, Safeway, or any other restaurant honestly. 3. There was an ant in my drink, and we weren't compensated for that. We paid 4 dollars for an ant drink.

My favorite dish is the chicken piccata, which has been flawlessly executed time after time, for decades, and is the best I've had anywhere, including Italy. I sometimes order other entrees and have never been disappointed. My husband and I went here to celebrate his birthday and Father's Day this afternoon. We were promptly seated without a reservation at one of the table on the patio to enjoy the fresh air. We started off with an order of garlic knots and Italian /chicken lettuce wraps. We asked about the honey dipping sauce and were told it was on a spicy side, so we skipped paying the extra $2 for it. However, our waitress wanted us to try it, so the honey was on the house. And, boy, that honey dip sauce was indeed very spicy! And the wraps? It was delicious! Fresh cherry tomatoes with diced chicken breast and bean plus seasonings. We loved the dish and finished everything on the plate except for the 3 sauces. We ordered our main entrees after finishing our appetizers. I had the Linguini & Clams, while my husband ordered the Rigatoni & Sausage. What a disappointment my Linguini & Clams dish was to me. The lack of flavor from one of my favorite dishes made me sad. I was looking forward to it. Adding hot pepper flakes, then black pepper, and the worst was adding salt. If this dish were to be prepared correctly, I would have been happy to eat it all. However, I gave up after adding my own spices. The Rigatoni & Sausage dish? OMG, out of this world! The red sauce with the meat sauce smothering the pasta was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted. I'd wished I ordered that dish, but at least I was able to try a couple of bites. When the bill came, our waitress said she took off the clam dish because I didn't like it. THIS, this! is how they gained a new customer! I'll come back and will give them my business. Thank you for treating this customer right and making sure my eating experience will be different the next time I dine here.
