I brought my 2 year old pit bull to this clinic today with concerns about her ladyparts- she's…read morelethargic. they ask is she eating drinking pee poo? yes. did she throw up? no not at all. ok well it sounds like a FATAL CONDITION but shes wating drinking pee and poo usually they don't plus other symptoms she DOESNT have. here's a $1,000 estimate just to check if she has it. she needs a $6,000 surgery or to be put down. then. my 4 year old walks behind her and she makes a growling noise. she is the MOST vocal dog I've ever heard. talks but sounds like a growl- maybe. she whines, howls talks "revs" sounds like an engine. very deep voice. they said I'd never bring her home with my kid! that's dangerous pits are never safe when they growl. I KNOW MY DOG. SO we go to Mayfair vet hospital. NOT PYOMETRA. they didn't even get why they'd tell us that. a simple uti OH! And the vet tech said SHE TALKS SO MUCH! I said is that aggressive?? She laughed and said no she just thinks she can talk. the people at beechwood did nothing but worry me, make me feel like an idiot cuz I might be endangering my kids because perhaps I missed something. and then when we said we didn't have $600 to just check to see they acted like we were trash. UNTIL we said we bought a house 2 months ago. then the attitude changed. I felt judged. I feel taken advantage of because they ordered hundreds of dollars of tests for a condition she didn't even have more than one symptom of. I cried and cried cuz I thoyght my dog was dying. assholes. don't go here especially with a pitty. they don't do surgery on "anything" ( they called my dog a thing too) over 45 pounds.

They saw that pet ONCE. The pet died at home, yet they acknowledged my loss. I have not received any such nicety from this vet (Brian Ray) after my pet was seen many times, and died under his care. I received her in a cardboard box, no footprint momento, no card, nothing. Please find a vet that has more of a heart. I find this treatment to be nothing short of HEARTLESS.

After making an online booking for an in-home euthanasia I called to ensure that this was actually going to be our blessing. Not only did they were reassure me that they would come but I received a phone call and a text message that someone was on their way. This was over and above what was shared. Dr. Elhe was compassionate and took the time to know our story and what an EPIC dog she was helping put at peace. She even sent a card sharing her sentiments. When I first started seeing them, I was fresh out of college with a newly adopted cat. I had only had him a few months and he started having troubles with bladder crystals. I didn't have a lot of money for treatment, but they helped me stretch my dollar and heal my cat. Years later I adopted an standard poodle. Any time he has a health issue, Healing Oasis is there to check him out and soothe my fears. Dr. Shawn has even come in on his days off for follow up check ups! They are wonderful folks that provide wonderful treatment. If you have a pet of any kind, the Healing Oasis is where you should take them for all of their health needs!

The very lack of explaining the bills in the past and now present caused me mass confusion and anger as I have had to repay for vaccinations and come back for more appointments and money!! I called and I was very very frustrated and I most certainly explained myself and that is just awful my poor dog who has cancer WILL NOT BE TREATED BECAUSE THE Office manager has ZERO compassion for people who are struggling stressed, confused, and upset!
