I went to several dentists and called many more, but it wasn't until I found Epping General Dentistry did I know I had found my new dentist. The front office staff was great to talk with and found me an appointment quickly. Everyone has been with the practice for 5 to 40 years and to me that says a lot about the working environment. The care was exceptional, with all the modern equipment, techniques, and the hygienist was so gentle it was pain-free. I have major anxiety over going to the dentist, but their manner and care set me at ease. The office is clean, fresh, and low key. Nothing said "patient mill" and I actually look forward to going back in 6 months.

My husband has been in dental hell for the past few months. He explained his situation before starting any procedures and was told it would be no problem getting resolution before his vacation. Called yesterday to schedule the final step of a multi step process and couldn't get in for 2 months, a full month after his vacation. Called a new dentist and they were able to get him in next week. I'm anxious about getting any dental work there if needed in the future. I will probably be on my way to a new dentist too.

I just seen my regular dentist six months prior, and had not been told of any if these things aspen explained as necessary. I ran back to my previous dentist . I am very happy with. They are liars and put more thought to their pocketbooks, then patient care. I advice anyone to stay clear of these medical quacks.

I should have known when the person taking my X-rays would not listen when I told her that the apparatus she was using was cutting into the bottom my mouth. After more X-rays - more than I have ever had, I am convinced that it was just a way to get more money. At my last visit just to pick up a mouth guard which I believe was paid for in full, I was told the day before I had $150 balance. Once I got there that had risen to over $500!!! I was told that they estimate the insurance payment. Well whomever is doing their estimating may want to find another profession. They charged me for an electric toothbrush & Water Pick, which I had to ask to be removed. I already had both of them. They try to up-sell at every turn and want payment before the service. On another note, my husband went to their Portsmouth office for his first appointment. They did X-rays and an exam. The dentist said he needed a filling and had time to do it. Well that filling didn't last a week! In less you want to be related like an ATM, stay away. Another thing that irked me was their staff took all the up front parking spaces. I only now this as I saw 3 different staff leave for lunch!

I've had appointments with three of the doctors and I've met many of the dental assistants, and they're always very friendly and very knowledgeable. It always feels like they genuinely care about me! I went in last week to get my wisdom teeth extracted, and Dr. Moroi took excellent care of me. I was really nervous about being awake for the extraction (they don't do sedation), and he calmed me down and patiently talked me through every step. Also, I was supposed to get all four out, but before the procedure he showed me the x-ray of my teeth and explained to me that even though it would mean more money in his pocket if all of them were extracted, he thought I should leave the top ones alone because they were so far up and it would be more painful for me if he took them out. The only reason I'm not giving a five-star rating is because the receptionists tend to be a little sub-par. I once had a receptionist schedule a cleaning for me, and the date she told me and wrote down on the little card was different from the date she entered in the system. I ended up showing up for an appointment I didn't really have. Also, I was once told that my insurance doesn't cover cleanings (which it does!) and she tried to charge me $85 for it! It took a lot of arguing before she realized she was wrong.

I wasn't seen more than 15 minutes altogether while the awkward young doctor who in the first place didn't seem inspired by his work nor showed any interest in me as a patient, alone spent about all 4 minutes seeing me and talking to me. He told me to open my mouth so he could take a quick look and told me this has to heal and he can't guarantee he will able to do it and in that case he will send me to a surgeon. While I waited for him to come and see me, the assistant asked me for X-rays paperwork to be forwarded from my regular dentist out of state and I said i can most definitely call them and have them send it to rockingham the next day. After which she said not to worry and that she will take the quick xray for me to speed things up. At the desk on my way out another woman called me over and said I gotta pay $150 for the visit: I asked if she's crazy. Never would I assume such preliminary consultations aren't free and especially the 4 minutes of doctor time who was so disinterested and didn't provide any information I had not already been told at the MA emergency clinic where I had the tooth extracted/grafted only 2 weeks prior. Additionally, there isnt a lick a mention of any price on their website or even a statement indicating that these value-less consultations aren't free when it directs you to a number to call to set an appointment for it. The outsourced customer service that picks up these calls is so unprofessional and lackluster anyway, I had already developed my doubts about this dental group after dealing with them. What a greedy scammy administration at this office... shame on them. I was so offended at their effort to swindle me I simply walked out. And to be honest I really wanted to become a patient there since my neighbor is having her implants done with them and I liked the potential discounted quote they gave me. Unfortunately now I will never find out the caliber of their doctors because I'm obviously never going back unless they remedy the situation by canceling the charge and this way restore my faith in their dental practice. Had I been informed this type of short visit is even charged I wouldn't have scheduled it since I had already gotten the same surface information at the place of tooth extraction but wanted to get the implant done closer to where I live. It's as if this whole thing which wasn't even a consultation could have been handled at the front desk since we only discussed the financials. I specifically stated when I walked in I want to find pricing for a potential implant. So I basically got charged for asking for a quote LOL. I'm thinking of reporting them to the NH office of professional licensure and the dental board. Especially since they don't even include medical codes on the bill which should state what exactly you are being charged for. That's a big red flag. If they don't include a code, they are just trying to see if you're st*pid enough to pay the money. For nothing. Don't fall for the bait and switch either. I think the free xray was offered to me to be able to somehow, in their delusional pricing schemes, justify the full charge of the pseudo-consultation visit where no diagnostic examination or assessment was or could have been done whatsoever since the doc said it's too early. And they could now lie and say it was never offered free. These are pure thieves. Get everything on paper before anything is done and protect yourself with the No-Surprises Federal Act that all dental clinics must abide by in being transparent about what, when and how much you will be billed for, before any procedure is done. In my case nothing was disclosed prior to sitting me down in their office and they just wanna charge me a silly "talking fee". (I called billing receptionist and she insisted it was an exam because the doctor "took a look" at the free xray. Without a possible diagnostic assessment this does not rise to the definition of an exam because it's legal elements can not be met if you have to wait for it to heal. Watch out for these ignorant sharks up front!)
