The bread was amazing--crusty on the outside, soft on the inside--and it turns out they get it from New York City! The owner is such a nice guy, and we ended up chatting for a while about his bread sourcing and plans for the business. You can tell he's passionate about what he does, and it really comes through in the food. Polpetti is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it gets. My favorite has been the ube egg pie which was sweet, creamy and had a nice earthy undertone from the ube.
