Lumpia RVA is awesome. I knew I had to try when I heard about them on the foodie groups. I was greeted with a sample of each of their mango and strawberry/lemonade slushy. The woman who owns it recommended the chef special with adobo pork. Great portions. The food is delicious. The grandma happily waved at me walking out of the kitchen and warned me about getting a ticket where I had parked. I love these ladies. I will absolutely be back.

Lumpia RVA!!! Another yummy Filipino spot in Richmond! If you're looking for homemade Filipino food and welcoming/friendly people, I suggest you give this place a try! The food is delicious and such a great size portion!. Melissa the owner is so friendly and can cook her heart out! I'll definitely be back frequently! The place is huge and enough seating for everyone. People who work around there can walk in for lunch and get home made ready to go food! It's downtown, walking distance to VCU hospital. They just opened last week. It's so great to have another home cooked meal in Richmond! They are open Tuesday-Sat 1-8p

    Halo halo

So satisfying. Lumpia was crispy and tasty. Pancit was fresh and not soggy. BBQ chicken was delicious. Such a nice space to eat and the service was so friendly! I'm so happy to have a Filipino place to eat in Richmond!!!

Such a great family run business in downtown Richmond! All the food was delicious and their $13 dinner special is so worth it for the portion size. Quick and nice service with plenty of seating options, we will definitely be back!

I got the soprano on seeded roll with banana peppers and omg I was screaming sitting my car eating it bc it was SO GOOD. They have a pretty extensive menu, and I will definitely be going back to explore more of it. Additionally, they had lots of other items like packed to go meals and sauces, pastas, beverages, and other cute gifty items for pet lovers. It appears to be multiple small businesses located in this space. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. There is a small dining area inside with 4(?) seats. Looks to be a popular take out spot. You can order ahead of time, but I ordered in person. They told me it'd be 15 mins so ran to the store, came back and it was ready. The sandwich was phenomenal. Everything was fresh and flavorful. And they give you a lot, enough for 2 meals for me. Can't wait to go back!

They're tucked inside the Market on Meadow store, which I thought was new, but they've actually been there for about three years. The owner recently bought the building and plans to rebrand since they're now the only vendor there. Even better, they're opening a second location at Harrison and Grace St. soon! I ordered the Soprano sub, and it was absolutely incredible. It comes loaded with hot soppressata, capicola, ham, sharp provolone, arugula, olive salad, red onion, vinaigrette, and mayo on fresh bread. I added sweet peppers and banana peppers for a little extra punch, and it was a great choice. The flavors were perfectly balanced--the salty meats paired beautifully with the tangy olive salad and sharp provolone, while the vinaigrette and mayo brought everything together. The bread was amazing--crusty on the outside, soft on the inside--and it turns out they get it from New York City! The owner is such a nice guy, and we ended up chatting for a while about his bread sourcing and plans for the business. You can tell he's passionate about what he does, and it really comes through in the food. Polpetti is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it gets. Whether you're a sandwich aficionado or just looking for a great meal, this spot is worth the visit. I can't wait to come back and try more--and to check out their new location when it opens!

I like that they offer an all-in-one combo that allows you to try all of their main entrees (pinoy BBQ, chicken adobo, and vegan pansit). It also comes with a choice of lumpia and they have a lot of variations to choose from. I liked the paradise roll and dragon roll. I also tried the mango jubilee dessert and although it's simple, it was delicious. Everything was reasonably priced too. Highly recommend trying their food and booking them for events! He appeared to be in his 60s and commented that I had "breasts but no ass." It was completely unsolicited, inappropriate, and perverted. I had not talked to him so I guess he assumed I wasn't fluent in the language. What makes this especially concerning is that this was said by an employee while I was simply going about my business as a customer. I could easily be around the same age as his granddaughter, which makes the comment even more disturbing. No customer should have to be subjected to sexual comments or degrading remarks about their body. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the behavior of the men working in the back. I have frequented this place since I was a child, which makes this experience especially disappointing and unsettling. One plus is they have good vegetable options. Another down side like most people say, a lot of their non-perishables are expired. The staffing is rude, if you say hi with a smile you are 97% of the time greeted with silence and ambiguity.
