He saw me through my cat Oreos cancer years ago and I will never forget how hard he tried to save my baby. He also neutered my boy Stormy and knew when he saw him as a kitten that he would be extremely large- and he is 25 pounds and super tall... he saved my cat Lucy about ten years ago as a kitten when she was dehydrated and ill - couldn't keep anything down- he knew exactly what to do and gave her fluids immediately and saved her life. (She was a bottle fed kitten & vulnerable) she was better right after she got the fluids...so grateful. I can go on and on. Anyway, he also follows up and follows through with his patients - he called 2 weeks later to see how the medication was working for Pippi and ordered her more meds to ensure she finally gets better. He is also extremely fair in his prices. Definitely the most reasonable vet in the county, but he may be the best overall Veterinarian doctor in Atlantic County as well. He is the only vet I have encountered that follows up and treats the animals as cost efficient as possible. He is not trying to make you come back unnecessarily and I really value that about this doctor. He understands...Thank you! I have to pay deposits and then get yelled at by the front desk when i question it. When I've asked to speak to a manager or doctor I'm told i can only speak to the extremely rude front desk woman. Wally has had two veterinarian visits since his adoption. On both visits, he lunged at two different people, including the vet. Yikes!! They handed him back to me and refused to treat. Preceding Wally's adoption, he never had the opportunity to build trust, as much of his time was consumed in a crate. He's as strong as a horse! Wally needs patience, time management, and plenty of exercise time to unleash his energy. With this, he will love you back twofold. Considering that we are the third home for this dog, we love him so much and refuse to give up on him. Wally's companion skills have shown significant improvement in a short amount of time. Providing him with lots of love and daily brushing. Wally was due for his spring hair- cut. I then heard about "Paws Rufflect" in Hammonton, NJ. Concerned for safety, I thought it best to visit the Salon (Paws Rufflect) to discuss Wally's needs. This is when I met Zoey (Zoe) - Owner, Operator, Master Dog Groomer. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by Zoe as she was up front grooming another dog on the table. Zoe was professional, warm, kind, and friendly; her salon was spotless. She answered all my questions and scheduled Wally for an appointment one week out at the end of the day. They even invited me to stay with him. I returned on March 17th with Wally for his spring cut. Zoe was ready for Wally. She welcomed him with love, kindness, and treats and invited him to her table. This is when he jumped up on the table, and she took over. He looks amazingly more handsome than ever! I also met two other groomers employed by Zoe. James and Susanna. Their kindness and passion for what they do mirrored Zoe's professionalism. This was my 2nd time my mini dachshund has gone here. First time was fine, no problems. This time a…read moreyoung man (did not get his name) took my dog behind the gate & we were talking about what I needed done. A black cat came out from the back area (loose) and came up nose to nose with my dog. My dog did not respond in any negative way but just stood there. The cat lunged at my dog and hissed and tried to claw him (it was in full attack mode). The young man scooped my dog up quickly (thankfully) & held him out of reach. The cat continued to try to get at my dog and the guy unfortunately got the brunt of scratches. A man from the back came out and tried to get the cat under control. My dog was taken to the back to be put in a cage (I assume) to try to get the situation under control. I am not writing this to in any way hurt this business (the grooming part was very good). The young man who held my dog did an outstanding job of protecting him & kept apologizing. My dog did not get hurt but if the cat had gotten to him, I would have ended up in the ER with him. This cat was acting like an angry feral cat. It was not provoked in any way. I am only writing this to hopefully avoid anything like this from happening again. No dog or cat should be loose in a grooming business and again thank you to the young man who protected my dog. He was very nice and apologetic.

Not only is Dr. Taketoshi great, the whole staff is wonderful. Melissa is incredible and I will always appreciate her. Them. I had first come to this office after experiencing frustration and hopelessness with my cat. He was older at the time and we couldn't get a diagnosis. Had a diagnosis after the 1st visit to this office. Unfortunately we found my boy had FIV. He was 19 and didnt have much longer after diagnosis. But Melissa did absolutely everything in her power to make him as comfortable as he could be in the mean time. I had an apt. For euthanasia bc he stopped eating and it was time but we never made it. I had to take him somewhere in the middle of the night I adopt a cat shortly after who has a lot of allergies & some health issues. They have been with me every step of the way. DR. Taketoshi is very no BS. So I could see how some ppl would take her wrong but that is something I appreciate about her. Very sad to hear they are closing. I will be forever grateful for them.

I used to live on a farm and Jamie would live at the farm while we were away. Now that we've downsized, my dogs usually stay at Training Aces but Jamie still feeds the birds and waters my plants. My dogs LOVE going to Training Aces! They run right over to the gate, tails wagging. Last year, I had to be away for a month. I was very upset thinking about leaving my guys for that long. I shouldn't have worried! Being with Jamie is like being at home for my pups. They laze on the sofa, sleep in Jamie's bed, and have the run of the spacious fenced-in yard. Pictures of her playing with a Chi Chua Chua are too cute. But, there were two behavior problems we couldn't fix on our own. The first is that she could go from zero to ten in excitement level seemingly in a split second. When someone came to the door, this docile sleepy girl would bark and run out of control full speed from one end of the house to the other. A 130 pound dog running out of control is a recipe for disaster for grandkids and adults and houses alike. The second problem was though she responded very well to "come" when in the house, it was a different story when off leash at the dog park. We'd say "come" and she would look over her shoulder as she continued on her own merry way. Jamie came to both our home and to our dog park so that he could observe my wife's and my own behavior as well as observe first hand the behavior of our dog. He spent time watching and asking questions. He gave us homework to do between visits. And he thoroughly explained why he gave us the assignments he did so that we would understand why we were doing what we were doing. In addition to home visits, we at one point boarded our dog with Jamie for three days and Jamie used that time to continue and reinforce the training. Now we have the dog that we never in our wildest dreams thought we'd have. When the grand kids are here, (3 yrs & 6 yrs.) she can usually be found lying down maybe 7 or 8 feet away. When their toys are all over the floor, she ignores them. When they're eating at their own kid sized picnic table (right about chin level for the dog) she goes no where near them. And when they pet her, she just stands there and wags her tail. Her biggest fault with them now is to give an unexpected and uninvited sloppy kiss! When the doorbell rings, I simply have to say "hey," and she quiets right down. When guests enter the home she's not permitted to run up and greet them. Only after everyone is in and settled do I let her know that she can now greet them calmly. Now at the dog park, life is good. When I say "come" she stops whatever she's doing and comes. Even if she's in the midst of playing with one of her dog friends, she comes. To avoid any escalation, I've called her away from an unfriendly and snarling dogs, and she responds instantly to my command to "come". Sometimes she's off and sniffing something and then discovers that we're now maybe 50 yards ahead of her and she comes a running! And we're now at the point that there are no treats or rewards for obeying, other than a quick pet and a "good girl!" Jamie gave us the dog we dreamed about but never really thought we would have. Jamie is knowledgeable, patient, insightful, very skillful, and caring. He has certainly found his niche as a dog trainer. We would recommend Jamie and Training Aces, NJ without reservation.

She was rude and unprofessional, not willing to help or even see the point from the side of a costumer. So I was there for something as simple as puppy health certificate so I can't even imagine what it would be like to have something more serious and complicated done there. I of course am not coming back there. Do not recommend going there anyone. This place has a nice interior but that's about it.
