This was honestly the worst tan I have ever experienced as I have been to several airbrush tanning salons over the past 4 years, I should have just bought an expensive self tanner! The atmosphere was amazing. The technicians were super kind, but the quality of this tan was TERRIBLE. for $70 I expected to look like a bronze goddess and felt like patchy bitch and I left looking the same as i came in when i asked for the darkest shade range and to top it all off your tan rubbed off on my $200 white prom dress. Mind you i followed all the after care instructions have moisturize religiously and was tanned 3 days before my prom to avoid any issues. Amanda's is pretty good. Been going for roughly 8 yrs. The lady's do a good job, for the most part. They're not overly friendly, but I guess we can't control that. In business everyone is trying to survive. Loyal customers have followed you around from location to location. Yet your policies don't reflect that appreciation, in my opinion. You're trying to offer a membership.. the deal is not great. Most ppl don't tan every month, all year. $30 bucks a month is steep for a weak discounted tan plan that customers still have to shell out money for a "membership." The cancellation policy is a huge problem as well. You should absolutely let ppl reschedule if an appt can't be kept for illness, or funeral. I came down with a serious illness & she kept my whole payment. So unreasonable. I get you want to fill your appts, but that's just crazy. Would you rather ppl come sick & get your staff sick? You should charge $10 fee, providing they commit to a reschedule at the time of cancellation and stick to it. If they don't immediately book a reschedule, then keep their money. So u know you're getting paid, but that also shows that you're reasonable & you understand some things can't be helped. So many ppl have lost a lot of money over this & it's left a lasting negative impression that I've heard more than once. You're not the only business who has to feather their policies between themselves, and fairness to the customer. Is it worth the reputation of your business? Part of it is just the nature of business in general.. seems you expect perfection and it's simply unreasonable. read more

I know a number of people that have been here and trust Amanda's Airbrush Tanning to give them a beautiful glow. Came here last week to get a partial body airbrush tan, which was my second visit to this business. The website is awesome; you can book an appointment on there directly and the business is very thorough with giving you directions both to the business, directions for how to prep for your tan, what to bring to your appointment, and after care. They also email you this information. The ladies here are so nice and efficient at what they do. Both times I have opted in for a moisture locking add on which prolongs my tan. I loved my tan color both times and the color lasted several days without fading or becoming blotchy. Went to AAT after being scared to do a spray tan again after a bad experience at a regular tanning salon. The instructions AAT sends you when you book your appointment and again a couple days before your appointment are incredibly detailed so that you get the best tan! I was still nervous going in there, but Kimberly made the experience pretty comfortable and gave me a fantastic tan! The people who knew I was getting a spray tan all complimented me on how natural it looked. I loved that it's not just three choices but it's based on your skin tone and how dark you'd naturally get. Hands and feet looked awesome too, NOT like the booth tanning where the spray gets all over your knuckles and sticks there and in between your fingers. My tan turned out great and the location was clean and really cute. The girl who did my tan was nice and helped the experience to go smoothy. My only complaint was this was my first spray tan and she explained things so fast and it was kind of loud in there, so it was hard to understand what she was saying. I was waiting to review my experience of my spray tan until I got through my full developing process. I waited almost 10 hours to shower and I have to say, the results are AMAZING! I am so happy with them and the staff was extremely nice and made me feel very comfortable. The location was fine and the suite wasn't what I expected, but it was different in a good way. I loved that Amanda was in to all natural products and educated me on some new things that opened my mind into actually looking at ingredients in my lotions and body washes to help make my airbrush tan last as long as possible. In the past when I have gotten spray tans at other places I never wanted to take that first shower because I knew that bronze look would go away. I left feeling very bronze and loving the look and boom, I would watch it run right down the drain during my first shower. Amanda's airbrush experience was different, she focused not so much on the instant bronze look, but the developed look afterwards. I loved the color that came out before I showered, and yes my shower water was still brown, BUT when I got out my tan was just as dark as when I went in and that made me so happy!! I am already feeling more confident and loving my summer tan in the winter. I would recommend this place to anybody who is wanting to look natural glow or that just went on a week beach vacation bronze. I can't say enough good things about it. I was in town for a wedding and decided that my super pale (translucent, really) skin wasn't cutting it. I'd never had an airbrush tan before and was a bit apprehensive. But I figured that in the worst case scenario I'd just have to scrub it all off. After a bit of googling, decided to go with this place. I'm so glad I did! The space itself is cute and clean. Amanda made me feel very comfortable and explained the process thoroughly to me. Best of all, my tan looked great! It was completely natural looking and not a bit orange or streaky. Also, the tanning solution did not make my face break out. It was so nice to look at my legs and arms and not think about how incredibly pale they are! I shared my feedback directly with Amanda and I HAVE to share here as I use Yelp to find new places to go for everything from restaurants to whatever it may be! I LOVED the experience from start to finish. I loved that the location is close to me, easy to find, and there's parking. The shop is absolutely adorable and gorgeous- Amanda has made the entire space very cozy and inviting. I instantly noticed the decor upon arrival- it's very stylish and comfortable. I loved all the details from the comfy and beautiful furniture, the decorations, and use of rich jewel tone colors to accent. I had decided fairly last minute that I had to get in for a trial tan before my wedding and I had a TON of questions beforehand as I didn't know what to expect. Amanda was very thorough, explained all the required prep steps (you need to follow the prep steps!!!) and answered my million questions. Since I had a flexible schedule and live close by, I was lucky enough to snag an appointment the next day when a spot opened up! The tanning experience was just as detailed. Amanda is just as thorough in person as she was in the emails. I really liked that she explained what she was doing step by step and I felt very comfortable throughout the tanning process. I'd asked for the "just returned from vacation" look and got the perfect look. It's been 5 days since and the color is definitely wearing well. I've gotten a number of compliments from friends! I have done spray tan booths in the past and always felt like the color was uneven and splotchy. I will NEVER go back to a booth after my experience at this salon. I'm so disappointed in my recent airbrush, I have been coming here for years and my spray tan was just disgusting. I came to get sprayed for Easter and normally I get sprayed by Amanda but for some reason I was sprayed by Kimberly which I was like whatever and let it be. The next day I woke up and literally the spray was stopped at my wrist it just looked so weird and my fingers were sprayed but not the top of my hands so I took a shower hoping it would like smooth out and it didn't. Then as I was drying I realized my legs and on my right leg it was like a huge line that looked like it wasn't even sprayed and then by my ankles I don't even know how to explain it but I have pictures so you can see. What makes me mad and sad at the same time is that I have been coming to Amanda for years so when I texted her she was basically trying to blame me as if it was something I did. She said my hands looked like I washed them and that my legs looked like it still had the bronzer on. I explained to her that I did everything the same as I always do and I showered twice--I shower, I exfoliate, I wear my husbands sweats and a big shirt no socks and go to sleep and still it was as if she didn't believe me and she was saying how Kimberly is the best and she's never had a problem and I know things happen but this was not my fault and she didn't even want to help me out! Didn't say like oh I know we are closed but come in I can help it or you should do this to take it off. She did apologize but after she kept asking if I did something or there is no way that the spray can spray do to the machine and I am just very disappointed and I will never be back and it just really sucks. She treated me as if she didn't even know me or as if I was someone who was a new costumer who has never been sprayed before and doesn't know the rules and the up keeping of a spray tan before during and after. read more

It is Impossible to make an appointment and when you do, you're dismissed and scheduled over. Remember, you have so much competition out there and everyday there is someone working 24 hours a day to it all away from you. So get your $hit together! AAT is AMAZING. I purchased the bundle of three tans and scheduled them all upfront, which worked out perfectly since they book up fast (I can see why)! The instructions they send ahead of time are incredibly detailed and show the dedication the team at AAT has to making your tan last as long as possible. I wish I was actually writing a review about my tan, but I never got that far. The hours posted online for Saturdays are until 2pm. Also there was a sign on the door that clearly states Walk ins welcome. I came in just after 1pm, and was told they were only accepting appointments and that she's leaving in 5 min. How convenient for them to close up whenever they have better plans. I'll never be visiting this establishment again. Obviously customers come 2nd.
