I found a test drive coupon for Palm Beach in Lincoln Square, I was so pleased. I am dark already , I tan on a regular basis and while most salons require that to use their coupons that you must tan beginning in their lowest level bed. The young lady working started me in their best bed , I have tanned 5 days in it and their phenomenal Stand Up bed. Their pricing combines their spray tanning and bed tanning into a single package which I like. I was not pressured into purchasing lotion there , upfront I made it clear that I have my own that I like and that I am educated in proper skin care with sunless tanning. I have 2 more days on my test drive , which I will finish and definitely will sign up to do a membership here... The hours are so convenient and the location while less than ideal, by a TGIF resturaunt and a pub it is manageable as I prefer tanning before 10am most days. I have found the other staff members to be just as friendly and non pushy as the young woman I see every morning during the week. I commend them on not requiring someone with a deep base tan to waste their time in tanning in a level 1 or 2 bed. I will reccomend this salon to others , Price wise it seems high, but considering what I was paying elsewhere and what little I was getting for the price I do not feel it is over priced. This salon has the newest Versa Spa spray booth too , those are expensive to tan in single sessions and combining them gives me more options than I have had in the past.

Out of the four locations I have been to this one is the nicest, and their level 2 tanning beds are by far the best. At the other locations their level 2 beds are not as big and do not have the same amount of fan power. One thing you need to know - the people that work for PBT, although are really nice; are salespeople. You will not find prices on anything. They got me through the door with an ad for $15 a month. When I went in I was upsold to another membership level where I could have the stand up beds too. Fast forward a few weeks later I was upsold to the level 2 beds (once I went to level 2, I knew I could never go back to level 1). They told me the upgrade would be free, but there ended up being a $15 fee for the upgrade so they got me there! Their lowest priced lotion was $99, but when I told the lady I didn't want to pay more than $40 she miraculously worked out a deal for me. I am a salesman's dream. If you have a good talk I can be suckered easily, but I feel okay about this place except for the suntan lotion and the upgrade fee. Anyway, be prepared for the low key up-sales and you will be probably enjoy this place as much as I do. Always clean, friendly staff, everything you need to get your tan on.

I explained that I did, but I had still been charged the monthly fee. I requested to cancel my membership, and I was told I would need to pay the current month before being able to do so. I showed proof from my bank app that the payment had already been successfully processed and posted to my account. I was told it "only attempted to charge," even though the transaction clearly showed the funds leaving my account. After that, I was told there was nothing that could be done in-store and that I would need to contact corporate instead. The interaction felt dismissive, and since the location isn't open until Monday, I'm left unable to resolve it in person. Overall, the way that they treated me at the end is grounds for me to never go back there again. As soon as I mentioned, canceling the membership, their attitude changed drastically not even providing me a number for corporate . I wonder how many people have double paid on memberships just to cancel for this reason. After I made this post, I realized that they took out two charges for that month and we're still claiming that I needed to pay!!!!!!! Fraudulent vibes!

This establishment felt highly predatory to me. First of all, the staff is a bunch of rude teenage girls who act like their parents never taught the social skills and basic common courtesy. They try to hook you into this ridiculous tour of the entire facility and the entirety of its' machines, for... seemingly no good reason but to waste your time and try to sell you on more stuff to take more of your money. I had been there for almost half an hour and they were still giving me their "management told us we have to say this" spiel while I repeatedly expressed that I was in a big hurry and just wanted to do a simple tanning bed session- it's not rocket science. But they refused to listen to me. I guess management told them to ignore customers' requests/wishes in order to focus on just selling more overpriced stuff. They then tried to loop me into a membership of course, which I declined because I don't like the attitude of the front desk girls there. They charge a ridiculously high price for the same thing you could find elsewhere for far less. It's literally a tanning bed that just sits there, there's no reason to charge almost $40 plus an unbelievable $8-10 charge for goggles, which of course they dont provide. I have never in my entire life been to a tanning salon that doesn't provide goggles, and at these prices it's just totally uncalled for. After being condescended by the high schoolers at the front desk both times, I left and will be taking my business elsewhere.
