This is by far my favorite place to spray tan- It's no nonsense and you get a great tan! PLUS the prices are great! Unlimited for $40 a month? That's unheard of!!! And the guy that owns it isn't all about pressuring you to buy extra products- he asks you if you want anything but if you don't he's cool about it! At other places I've been charged for extra products unknowingly so I really appreciate the tan room for not doing things like that! Don't go here, and this is why: Another reviewer wrote about how they are with money. Here is my experience: I just do spray tan, but it didn't work well (couldn't get any color), so I decided to stop. They advertise one price, but that's not really accurate. It's more than they advertise. I called at least half a dozen times to cancel, and no one ever answers the phone. I left multiple messages, and no one ever returned my call. I filled out multiple contact forms on the website, and no one ever responded. I finally drove to the place and cancelled in person, and I was assured I would not be charged. You see what's coming, right? I got charged again. I called multiple times. No answer, no return call. I left a message saying that if they didn't call me back, I'd be placing a negative review on Yelp. No call back. I drove up there AGAIN and they wouldn't give me anything to show it was cancelled, but promised me I wouldn't be charged again, which I am definitely not confident in. The owner, who is normally nice, was pretty impatient and dismissive of me. He told me that they don't get messages from the website (which I know isn't true because there is a form there - where they go, I don't know) and said he was too busy with a move to return calls or answer the phone. However, this has been going on a month! In any event, I left after he promised I wouldn't be charged again. Later, after he listened to my message he called me and was nice and offered me a free tan, but that was by far too little, too late. I felt like he was just doing that because he didn't want a negative review. The business practices here are very, very sketchy. I would avoid it. You don't sign a contract, but that means you have no protection at all. They can just keep charging you. Great pricing and customer service! Always feel welcomed. My favorite bed is the 360 high pressure bed! I've heard that the bulbs are changed out on the dot, so you can always get a great tan. You get more for your money compared to other places. He also offers really great pricing on tanning lotions. They offer unlimited tanning, which is a plus, starting at $19.99 a month or you can get unlimited Versa spray tanning for $39 and includes tanning beds. The plus side is no start up fees. If you need to freeze your account, they don't charge your account. You do, however, need a 15 day notice to cancel. read more

My husband and I love this place and being able to support small business. I was a member of Palm Beach for 4 years prior to my move to Arlington and I love how personal Tan Room can be.... the owner always knows us and is very nice to talk to. Shady business practices with reoccurring credits to your card on file. I asked to cancel my account in June this year. The owner pushed "freezing" it instead until a date 3 months from then. I reluctantly agreed to avoid the hassle as I was in a hurry. A month later I moved 400 miles away and never again thought of the account until the charge was taken from checking account the third month later. I immediately contacted the business to explain I had moved and wouldn't be using the service. I asked for a refund back to my card charged, but was refused. Instead I was berated by the owner about signing a contract, being on a budget, etc. Careful doing business with this guy. He's a snake. read more

DO NOT go here if you will ever be cancelling your account. I cancelled my account in early July. Because of the timing, I understood my next payment would come out. The next month tho, my account was debited. I called numerous times. No answer. I physically went to the store and spoke with the owner. He said he fixed the problem while I was there. Since then, we've been charged for October and November. My husband called from his work on Friday a total of 15 times and left voicemail. No return calls from the owner.We go to the store today, and the owner is not there. However, the girl there did not act all that surprised that we were having this problem. It's been a few hours now since he was supposed to be there and we've yet to receive a call. P!ease check the other reviews and you'll see this is not a one time issue. This place is shady.
