This restaurant has the worst service I have ever experienced! I ordered a delivery for lunch special. When I was ordering through the phone, I said "could you give me 10 seconds to check the right address?" While the women on the other side said " you are wasting my time!" Excuse me, as a customer, I am wasting your time? That was not the worst part. When the food finally was delivered, I found that instead of the lunch special, they gave me a full meal. So I called again, but the same women immediately put her finger on me, insisted that I did not say anything about lunch special. But in the first phone call, she told me the correct price for what I ordered, how could it be if I did not place the order clearly! Then I refused the order, but still gave the delivery man two dollors for tip because this was not his fault. Guess what happened next, the women called me again, said nothing but accused me of lying! She screamed and yelled through the phone. She said that I was lying and I was doing MONKEY BUSINESS. I wouldn't have minded as it was good but the table next to us had pad thai as well and hers was nearly falling off her plate..hmmmm selective portion size? This was such a disappointing lunch. I ordered mixed vegetables with tofu- the lunch special with salad. The tofu had burnt pieces all over it and tasted like it was fried with meat products. The whole dish tasted like it had been on a dirty grill that hadn't been cleaned for months. As a vegetarian, I was really grossed out. The salad was soggy and had ranch dressing on it. I absolutely LOVE this place!!!! I order from them at least twice a week. I order so much that when I call, they already know who I am lol. The Bronx only has a handful of Thai places and most of them aren't legit. The food is always flavorful, fresh, and tasty. I always order the spring rolls along with either the thai fried rice or the drunken noodles with shrimp. This time I got the drunken noodles. The taste is out of this world. The delivery people are nice as well as the person taking the orders. If u go there ask for Pook. She's one of the hostesses and she's so sweet and always gets my order perfectly. Good food BUT... I've been coming here for three years and now this place is under new ownership. And with that cam a lot of changes. The food hasn't really changed much, it's still good. But only now it's a cash only place and you can't order for delivery on yelp or seem less only takeout. And the cherry on top is that basically everything is now $3 more expensive. Delicious and reliable Thai food. They have great lunch specials, too, but you have to ask to see the menu. My favorites are the drunken noodles and the yellow curry. They really care about the flavor - I asked for a spicy dish to be made mild for a family member, and the owner called me to explain that it wouldn't be authentic to the dish if made mild. Instead, she offered excellent suggestions of substitutions that may be more to her liking. I appreciate that they want the food to taste good and will work with each customer's needs and wants. It is cute inside, a nice change of pace from the surrounding area. It's expensive compared to places in the area, but it's definitely worth it. read more

Thai restaurants that serve delicious food are hard to find in NYC. And the nouveau Thai trend in Manhattan is disappointing. Delighted that a good one now has opened in my borough, near Einstein School of Medicine. Started with Thom Ka soup, which was delicately flavorful and included fresh sliced mushrooms, served in appealing white porcelain bowls. The glass noodle salad was yummy and full of lime and other complex flavors too, and not overly challenging at "medium" spiciness. And the pad Thai noodles were terrific. It's not an adventurous dish to order at a Thai restaurant, but many places make it taste too much of peanuts or cook the noodles improperly. Two staffers checked on us a few times to ask how we liked the food. Good service. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return soon. read more

I do find that they skimp on the meat, probably in an attempt to coax people into using the "extra meat" option they offer on Seamless. It's very overpriced for what it is. You're looking at a minimum of $13-14 for a basic noodle dish which does not include rice. $7 for four tiny little chicken curry puffs. Wow, wow, wow. Something has seriously changed here within the last month! Maybe a new chef? We just received delivery and the food was disgusting! The appetizer wings are usually crispy and in a nice red sauce, however this time they were baked with no sauce. In addition, the Thai fried rice and Drunken noodles were bland. The spring rolls were pretty good, but the pad Thai had a very foul odor, similar to a wet dog. And it tasted as bad as it smelled. Took a couple of bites and could not take the small and taste. I used Seamless. I didn't even know this was open! Food came within the expected time frame. Possibly 10 minutes early? It was delicious! The price was a tad high since we're not in Manhattan but I forgive them. The serving sizes were nice and healthy. They didn't skimp on the shrimp in my Thai fried rice. They were normal-sized. Everything was flavorful. I also had the chicken dumplings. They were good. I wouldn't say great but good. Food was good and hard to find in the area. Service was okay. The decor and music were classy. We ordered papaya salad, chicken satay chicken glass noddle and beef pineapple curry. Papaya salad was fresh but a bit too salty. The glass noddle was softer than I like it. The meats in the dishs needs to cook in the sauce for longer to get the flavors but pineapple was fresh. Chicken satay was yummy, and the sauces were good. The service was just OK because I had to get up to fetch for utensils. The witness also bought a drink I asked about and I told her I decided not to get it. They didn't charge for it though. I would recommend it. read more

I was staying at the Residence Inn so I had it delivered. They said it would take 40 minutes and an hour later the driver still had not arrived because "he forgot my ice tea". My food was slightly cold at this point but still very good. I got the spring rolls and ginger sauce meal with chicken except I ordered it spicy and it didn't come spicy.
