Finally decided to give this place a chance. Wanted to get some Thai food and this is close to me. Went on a Saturday night so it was pretty busy but thankfully I was able to sit at the bar area. To start I ordered the satay chicken and the fried tofu, both came out pretty quick. The satay chicken was so good, tender and flavorful. I love tofu and this dish didn't disappoint. For main dish I decided to try the udon pad Thai with chicken and it was a pretty big dish. And to finish. I ordered the mango with sticky rice, this was really good. Food was fresh and flavorful, staff were nice even though they were busy. Place is small but definitely a try. And during warm weather they have outside seating. If you decide to come over the weekend I recommend making a reservation or you can even pick up your order. read more

My boyfriend and I went here for a celebratory dinner. We started with the fried appetizer sampler-delicious (except curry puff-it was just ok). We then had drunken noodles with basil sauce-so good. My boyfriend ordered the sautéed shrimp with garlic sauce. The garlic sauce was entirely too salty! I had a lychee martini...it seemed a bit flat. Authentic and delicious Thai food. I ordered the pineapple curry lunch special. It is had fresh cut pineapple chunks and basil. It was made with the classic Thai yellow curry. It came with rice, salad and a spring roll. This lunch special was definitely worth it! I had to take away one star for the size of my Thai Iced Tea. It is relatively small compared to other competing Thai restaurants in the area. For its price, it should have been at least 12 ounces. It cost $5.00 which is about an average price for this type of drink. There is metered street parking that you can pay by app or coins. It wasn't too difficult to find a spot. The restaurant has two restrooms and is handicapped accessible. It is cozy and has dim lighting. The restaurant was keep clean. It also has a bar area for seating. My server was attentive and welcoming. The owner/manager greeted me and thanked me for my business. What great service right?! She had no idea was an Yelp elite. I don't disclose that info because I want to write honest reviews for my fellow foodies. I definitely will be back to try the other lunch special menu items. Food is good, not great. It's extremely overpriced, for small portionsand not the best. Service is ok, depending on the time of day. We ordered takeout from here. I liked that they had an udon noodle pad thai option, for a little variety from the usual preparation. I got this dish with tofu. The sauce was sweet and tasty. The udon noodles were buttery and silky. I wish it included more veggies, but they do have a separate option with veggies added for an additional charge. I also got the spring rolls. An order came with four large rolls. They were tasty, with a chewy veggie mixture inside. My husband enjoyed the fried calamari and crab ragoon. Celebrated my birthday here and was very excited. Small, cozy, inviting. The staff is great and very welcoming. The appetizers was filling. I had the satay chicken skewers with peanut sauce and my friend had the crispy chicken wings. Delicious!!!! Main course the heavenly crispy duck in ginger sauce with jasmine rice, perfect combo. Bangkok City is changing management as of September 2023. However, I'd say overall, we're going to miss the original BC. The dishes were pretty standard - not amazing but definitely scratched and itch. Some dishes were better than others; we tended to like appetizers, like calamari and ribs, more than some of the entrees. That being said, I mostly came for bubble tea. It was fast, solid, and a treat in town. I hope the new management does the BC name proud. read more

I had the fried appetizer sampler, which was skimpy for two with one representation of each a chicken wing a curry puff, a spring roll, a shrimp and a crab Rangoon for $16. All were delicious. I had the pad Thai with crispy duck, and unfortunately, the duck was completely dried out and overcooked, but the pad Thai was wonderful. $35. The servings are filling but don't expect leftovers. It was a Saturday night, busy, and the staff were overwhelmed with Uber drivers. The staff are extremely friendly and inviting. I would go again. Well I found this restaurant on uber eats, and decided to give it a try. I saw a review here on yelp about how they're not filling containers. Unfortunately that is true also in my case. I ordered an iced tea no ice, so it wouldn't be watered down...it came 1/4 empty. I also ordered the pad se you, and Bbq wings, both of which were unbelievably salty! Omg! I have lived in Pelham for over 10 years and have only been here since the new owners took over last year! Scott (school teacher) and his lovely wife who is from Thailand serve the best tasting and most authentic Thai food. I have no idea what to order and the staff are amazing the way they suggest and make the "hotness" to order! (My wife hates hot). We go every week and are eating are way through the entire menu and it's all delicious. This is a COVID-19 review. They are still only open for take out/delivery. The phone ordering process was easy. Pick up was also easy. They have a window that you walk up to and get your order. Got the vegetable spring rolls which were nice and crunchy even after the transport. Why?? Because they do this genius thing and put cut outs in the container to let the steam out. Never saw that before but it was so smart. The curry noodles were good and it's a gigantic portion. Just the right amount of spice that builds up and not just hits you from the start. My only disappointment was the number of shrimp included - literally only 6. As I said the portion is large, easily can feed 2 people so to only include 6 shrimp doesn't seem adequate.
