We were dreading high pressure sales people trying to sell us something we couldn't afford. That was not our experience at all! From the moment we walked in, Tim listened to our needs and price limits. Within minutes, we fell in love with a floor model that was 80% off! No delivery charges and no added pressure to buy extras. Delivery was an hour delayed due to snow. The delivery men were wonderful. Set up went quickly and they took my old mattress (for charge of dumping fee). Overall, this was a great experience. When we entered we were greeted by an older woman, seemed…read morefairly nice, asked us questions about what kind of washer and dryer we were looking for, etc. We walk to the main counter, she starts the process of booking us a time for delivery and things (at this point weve only been in the store 10 minutes or so). Instead of asking if wed like to finance, she IMMEDIATELY swiped my husbands card. We had to ask her to remove it, so we could discuss financing, and her whole personality swapped the second we brought it up. The guy next to her was VERY nice and understanding but the second we mentioned financing the woman kind of just stared at us. The nice facade disappeared. We were denied financing. She proceeded to try to pressure us to just straight up buy it. We're new home owners trying to make finances stretch... that wasnt happening, not for 2k. So we told her we'd be back another day after running numbers. The man at the desk was super friendly said it wasnt a problem but the woman, kind of just sat there and glared at us. Not a great experience. Not to mention the prices are insane. They had stools by the front door for over $300... we wont be returning. Home depot is cheaper AND has nicer employees.

And then had the audacity to print a ticket stating it was 14K thinking I wouldn't notice. There was no way in hell I would've left my gold there with them. I took the $ because I was in a bind and then came back a week later to get it out of pawn. Don't deal with these losers! Cash connection is much more professional and actually give you the weight value for your gold.

And their prices range from reasonable to a little more than I would have expected. But that happens with antiques. They were friendly enough while we were there. . But then we found out two days later, that apparently we weren't the type of customers that they wanted in their store. They completely judged Us by our appearance, and told our friend that we were not welcome to come back and that they had debated on calling the police on us while we were there. This really took me by surprise since I thought we were pleasant and respectful. I was very careful about how I touched anything, and I even left my umbrella by the door. I'm not really sure what brought this on other than just judging a book by its cover. I will probably not return to that store. Even though there were a few items I was very interested in. So as much as I would love to give them a four or better, star rating, because of their behind our backs attitude I'm only giving them a two.

We told him what we wanted and he showed us several different mattresses. We found one that felt great. We went home to talk about it and decided the next day to return to Mattress Land. We spoke again with Tim and he helped us order our new Mattress. When it came in he called me and said it was in and if we wanted it delivered right away his guys had an opening. The delivery guys came and in no time delivered the new mattress and hauled off the old mattress. These guys were very efficient, cordial and professional. Thank you Mattress Land. We love our mattress.
