We have ordered from here 4 times so far wanting to give it a chance because the first time we had it, it was very good. But the rest of the times have been terrible. Yesterday we ordered and we got lots of chicken in our dish, but unfortunately all of the chicken pieces were so tough that you could hardly chew them. Very disappointed because we ordered two dishes of it. We also ordered chicken tikka masala and the chicken was a little better for that dish but still not great. Very disappointing Punjabi food. The chicken tandoori and chicken tikka were extremely dry, almost beyond edible. The noodles were soggy and overcooked, and the butter chicken was watery and lacked flavor. The pulao was even listed as biryani, which was misleading. None of the dishes really stood out. The service is amazing, they aren't busy inside but I feel like they should have more people in here. They did have people coming in to pick up via grub hub and Uber eats. I called this place bc we couldn't find a restaurant with dining inside for 10 people. They answered right away and assured me that there was dining for a whole family. We came and the table was ready. The staff are super nice and helpful! Food was so delicious! The only thing would be if entrees would be served all together bc we were super hungry haha. Pindar (sorry if it's misspelled) was always checking on us and really nice! I enjoyed the Soya Chops. The chicken pakora has batter on it which was super crispy! When i sat down to eat my food i was very disappointed i spent $44.14 on old food. The lamb chops were nothing but bones with onions & bell peppers there were burnt badly so i couldn't eat them. I goes to eat the noodles they gave me tomatoes sauce noodles with old chicken from a kabobs i can see the wholes in the chicken from the stick. Stopped by here a few times on our way to Caswell State Park. Pinder, the restaurant owner also doubles up as the host and waiter But he's very attentive to what you need and happy to customize the order. We ordered poori-chole, tandoori chicken, chaat, daal makhani and few other dishes over the course of two days. Everything was finger licking delicious. I think the place is a hidden gem because everything is made home style with little masala and oil. I shared the gajar (carrot) halwa with a friend, back in the Bay Area and he mentioned it tasted like what a Punjabi neighbor had cooked decades ago. Yum!! Portions are huge and prices are very reasonable. Don't get me wrong, Caswell Park is fun but I'd make my next trip to Ripon just to try everything on the menu over the course of a month maybe, lol.
