We have ordered from here 4 times so far wanting to give it a chance because the first time we had it, it was very good. But the rest of the times have been terrible. Yesterday we ordered and we got lots of chicken in our dish, but unfortunately all of the chicken pieces were so tough that you could hardly chew them. Very disappointed because we ordered two dishes of it. We also ordered chicken tikka masala and the chicken was a little better for that dish but still not great. Very disappointing Punjabi food. The chicken tandoori and chicken tikka were extremely dry, almost beyond edible. The noodles were soggy and overcooked, and the butter chicken was watery and lacked flavor. The pulao was even listed as biryani, which was misleading. None of the dishes really stood out. Hidden behind a Chevron you will find a mini strip of businesses with Tandoori Grill. Drive to the back, just watch out you do not end up in the coffee store line. Clean location, most of the staff all in the kitchen, so I had to ring the bell they had to get service. The veggie lunch combo came with Dahl, paneer w curry, rice, veggie pakora, raita and desert pudding, along with crunchy naan. The flavors were lovely, and I especially liked the pakora. Tandoori Grill in Ripon is the best Indian food I've found around the central valley! Their curries have the perfect mix of spices and consistency that taste authentic. I always get their chicken tikka masala (they don't skimp on the chicken!) with garlic chili naan bread which is always delicious and lasts me the following day for lunch too. It's located right off the highway, so definitely stop by if you're on the road. I usually order take-out which comes hot and fresh but inside the restaurant is nice and spacious as well. The staff are always kind and accommodating. They serve the curry in these beautiful bronze dishes that have designs on them and they have a dessert and drink fridge displayed at the front. This restaurant is right across from the hotel and was looking for a place close by. This is actually my first time eating inside an Indian restaurant because I usually order takeout in Oakland or San Francisco, and I'm glad I did. The service is amazing, they aren't busy inside but I feel like they should have more people in here. They did have people coming in to pick up via grub hub and Uber eats. We came and the table was ready. The staff are super nice and helpful! Food was so delicious! The only thing would be if entrees would be served all together bc we were super hungry haha. I was recommended this place by some nice ladies in the gas station right across the street. I walked over there & order lamb chops & Chinese noodles. I ordered my food togo. When i sat down to eat my food i was very disappointed i spent $44.14 on old food. The lamb chops were nothing but bones with onions & bell peppers there were burnt badly so i couldn't eat them. I goes to eat the noodles they gave me tomatoes sauce noodles with old chicken from a kabobs i can see the wholes in the chicken from the stick.
