HAVE AGAIN: The Tandoori chicken was 5-star good. Just the right mild spice. Delicious naan and mango lassi. Malai kofta was recommended by the server and it was very good. NOT HAVE AGAIN: Paneer tikka masala was ok - sauce was delicious, but tofu too plain. Small place with big flavors! They seem to do mostly to go orders, but the inside can accommodate groups of people. Comfy booths and also tables for groups. You can order a la cart, but I love that they have Thali combination plates. You can do Non-Vegetarian or Vegetarian. I tend to go towards the Vegetarian aide of the menu, and it has never disappointed. Everything I have had has been perfectly spiced and to my order. Their Naan is always perfect. We had a great first experience. We were pleasantly welcomed by the receptionist and seated right away. We were there with kids and we were happy that they had a kids menu, usually the kids are picky eaters. The appetizers came quickly- we loved the paneer with sesame seeds (literally the best that I have ever tasted). Their chutneys tasted very fresh and unique. The rest of the food came shorty afterwards. It tasted very fresh and home like. The naans were soft and did not seem heavy. The portions were huge. We all enjoyed the traditional dishes. Wow--SO GOOD!! We were starving and it was a little late. They were open, it was close and had great reviews. We walked in and it looked like the whole restaurant was having a private birthday party so we weren't sure if it was open.... They welcomed us in and offered us birthday cake! Super friendly staff, AMAZING food and the portions are HUGE! All of the dishes come with rice and the naan is also SO good. We weren't sure if the dishes were big enough to split so we got two (butter chicken and the spice paneer, I think it was). READ THIS DON'T GO HERE. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. I visited your restaurant on November 29, 2025 with my wife and family. As we approached our table, there were only two plates set despite there being three of us. I asked our server if she could bring an additional plate, and her response was dismissive. Even though the restaurant was nearly empty, she never returned, and after waiting about ten minutes, I had to get a plate from another table myself. We ordered four items, including chicken tandoori. When it arrived, I asked for a knife so I could cut it, and again the server responded rudely. The knife she eventually brought was dirty, and the plate the dish came on was also not clean. We had ordered naan as well, and when I asked about it after waiting thirty minutes, she told me to "be patient," even though we had already been waiting far longer than reasonable. While we were still eating, the same server came to our table and told us to go pay. I told her I would be speaking to the owner or manager about the service, and she claimed to be the manager and said she didn't care about my complaint. The chutney also had a strong, unpleasant smell, and when I mentioned it she said, "This is all we have." Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. Pretty solid Indian food joint located in Ripon. Went here a while back with several friends after a nice rock climbing session at Alpine. We needed a little pit stop for some piping hot food. I'd order food here as family style and share it with a group. Each portion of food tends to have plenty and even after a few garlic naan and chicken tikka masala, most of us were super full. Each entree does come with either rice or naan so choose wisely haha. They have a decent amount of seating here and nice drinks like a mango lassi. Give it a shot! read more

Ripon you can not hide this place forever. This hidden gem is located off the highway 99 near Jack Tone Rd exit. Upon entering this establishment, this place is very cozy and portrays a uniqueness of pride and joy when dining Indian Cuisine. The place is very clean and has plenty of ambient lighting. We were immediately greeted by the server upon entrance and was given the choice to sit anywhere. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations if you're undecided. Now for the food. We started our order of samosas for our appetizer. Before that came out we were served with some heart shape rice crackers and chip style with fennel seeds. This would be the reason for why the table got crumbs from the collage of pictures that follows the review. Our appetizers came out fresh and hot with a side of that tamarind chutney sauce which was like sweet and spicy. Next we were served our main dish, butter chicken and shrimp Korma each came with a side of rice. Immediately following after the meal was our basket naan mix. And to finish off the meal we had some mango lassi. The portions were more than enough to feed two people. The food served exceeded my expectations. I was coming in bias thinking this will taste like any other place I visited but I'm so glad they prove me wrong. There is a lot of flavor coming from each dish, the butter chicken here is way better than those other places I have tried. And the shrimp korma that is on a whole new level of taste. I love how the sauce has a sweet essence of coconut flavor with each bite. You can customize the spice level but I kept mines to medium. The naan variety basket is delicious my favorite of the three is the garlic naan. We finish dinner off with a nice chilled sweet silky smooth mango lassi. The total experience is amazing. I look forward to returning to this place and trying out other entrees and the sweet desserts they have in the case. If you're in the surrounding area and undecided give this place a try it's worth checking out or if you dont want to drive out use the DoorDash or Grubhub feature. And have the delicious food delivered to you. I notice the drivers coming in so that's how I realized they had it. We went in to experience this place for the first time and the server Koml was soooo nice and helpful. He was also funny. My lamb curry was fantastic and spicy and they gave me extra hot spice for it in case I needed it. My sister's chicken korma was delicious. The samosas were so soft and flavourful! Got a chance to try this place with my mom and sister and my 3 year old son. It's small inside but looks really cute. We were sat immediately and our server was so sweet. Brought us out a delicious basket of papadums and sauces which were tasty and delicious. My three year old was having a meltdown because he dropped a glass of water under the table which broke, and the waitress was so sweet and nice about it. I was embarrassed but she made me feel so much better like it wasn't a big deal. We all ordered the plate lunch special and it was SO GOOD! The most flavorful butter chicken I have had in such a long time, the garlic naan was delicious and so was the curry and the lamb curry. All of us agreed it was really good and a great price for what we got. It also came with some rice pudding that we really enjoyed.
