This place is amazing! I used to go to Sac area once week for good Indian food, but it was not consistent. Found a different place in Manteca that begun good, but once again, consistency failed. Found the same owner in Ripon, same thing. Found this place about 6 months ago and I can't say enough about how great the food is. It is very clean, they give you not only great food, but more than fair portions, they are friendly, and their prices are great. I've not been to a place that the food gets better the more you go, it usually goes the other way. NOT HERE! FOOD GETS BETTER EACH TIME!!! Hidden gem in a shopping center coming back to life. Small yet clean restaurant with a handful of tables. Easily can accommodate a group if needed. They do take out as well. Stopped in for a late lunch with a friend. The staff is nice and made sure to ask for what kind of heat we wanted. We ordered, butter chicken, aloo gobi and veggie biryani rice. With super good garlic naan. Everything was made fresh, so it took about 15minutes. The gravy was delightful and the flavors were very good. There was so much food left over it made two more meals!! Just tried this small Indian Restaurant near the Vallarta Supermarket on Pelandale, my gosh the food was good. I had the Butter Chicken and the sauce was rich in flavor and the chicken tender and moist. The service was excellent and what little ambiance they have is more than made up for in great food! Finally had some time to stop in for lunch. They have plenty of seating inside. I ordered Togo. I ordered butter chicken, white rice, samosa and garlic naan. While I waited they handed me a free bottle of water, which was nice treat. When I paid they said starting Monday 11/13/23 they were going to offer a lunch meal from 11am - 2pm for $12.99, which was all I wanted but not available. My items came out to $29 would have been nice at the lower price. That gave a lot of food. Will have leftovers for dinner. The butter chicken had a good amount of chicken and the it was flavorful. Rice cooked perfectly, garlic naan was good. The samosa on the other hand fell short. Need to be a tad bit more fried, the filling was just potato nothing else, needed more seasoning. I got the lamb tikki masala, two garlic naan, and an order of allo tikki. Overall pretty decent. The lamb tikki masala was ok, not bad but can't compare to the naan and curry in Concord. On another note, sanitation is pretty nice here, so you don't need to worry. Lastly, when you go to pay, the screen does NOT ask for tipping. So if you want to tip, cash is probably best. read more

First time trying Indian food, so I don't have much experience to compare it with.. the waitress/attendant was SO VERY sweet, she alone was worth the visit. The garlic naan was DELISH! I'm not a huge potato fan, but the samosas were good (hubby loved them). Having said that the wait was awful. Thankfully we weren't on a time crunch today. It was roughly 30-45 min wait. The food was fine, i also prefer fountain soda to canned. But that's just my preference. The place was clean, artic cold (needed a jacket and I keep my house at 69* so that's telling you how cold it was). Friendly staff. Food was fine, just not something I see myself eating again. The tandoor chicken, I'm not sure but it didn't taste fresh and the veggies that came with it had a weird taste to it? Almost like soapy taste. The samosas, I didn't like the filling taste. The paneer tikka masala was my absolutely fav. The cheese was perfect with the rich, creamy sauce, touched with spices. The mango lassi was good too. I like how they incorporate small chunks of ice to give it more of a smoothie texture. The service is good. The lady at the front is Courteous and greets everyone with a smile. Sorry to say, but probably the worst Indian food I've ever had from a restaurant. Ordered palak paneer and dal makhani. Both were very watery, lacked cream and flavor, paneer was hard and sank to the bottom of the spinachy broth. Feels like a lot of corners were cut in what ended up being a $30 meal. We were really pleasantly surprised by how great the food was. The quality of the chicken was great, the spices were very flavorful and the amount of food served was much more than I was expecting. Be prepared everything is a la carte, but that doesn't affect the final cost, it's still on par with other local restaurants. They were really friendly, the restaurant is quaint and comfortable. They're very thoughtful, I got a free bottle of water while waiting. For the amount of food I ordered it came pretty quickly. We will return.
