The food here is delicious, easily one of the best kabob restaurants I've been to. The service was good, and the staff was very friendly. You can tell it's a family-run restaurant, which gives it a welcoming feel. The restaurant itself is small, and the food did take a while, but it was worth the wait. I personally didn't care for the dessert or the Turkish coffee, but that's just my preference. The hummus was so good I forgot to take pictures of it we are it so fast haha. I could eat those kabobs everyday. If more people knew about this place & would try something new, this place would be packed everyday all day. There are things on the menu that I absolutely love because I grew up with it. But people will never order it because they dont even know what it is. For example the grape leaves or doma is rice and meat rolled in grape leaves. I know what your thinking, grape leaves? I've been wanting to try this place for quite a while. Tonight my wife and I made the trek. We were warmly greeted as we walked in. After being seated, I believe the owner (Del) came to our table. We told him we'd been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and decided tonight was the night. He brought us an appetizer (on the house) and after talking to him, we decided to get some hummus, plus rack of lamb and chicken thigh skewers. The meal was brought out on a large platter. The presentation was awesome (see my photos) and the taste of everything was exceptional. We had plenty of food to take home and our bill was only $66, which I feel is a great price for all we ordered. I highly recommend this place. Stopped by for dine in today, just about 3 other people dining, but plenty of pick ups even catering pick ups. The place is small in a plaza, plenty of parking and seating. Quiet place, clean, family owned. I asked if they use msg since I'm allergic and he said no they only use saffron. Super nice cook & waiters, very attentive. Food is obviously made fresh becuase it took 15 minutes to be served and the food was hot, plate was not ;) the pita bread(?) was like a flour tortilla. I'm mexican & it tasted just like it! I don't know if the food is authentic, but I thought it was delicious! Flavorful and juicy chicken, rice was abundant. Turkish coffee was great too! It was $17 for that dish which i think is beyond reasonable. I love kebabs & this place is Iranian they said. Great food & great service! Close to stan state campus too. read more

This is by far THE BEST all around Assyrian/Chaldean cuisine in the Bay Area... and I've tried some of the top tier ones recently. This is a quaint spot in the middle of Turlock. You can tell the love that they put in their food. The quick service, home-like feel, and home style cuisine is just, wow. I cannot say enough about this place. My boyfriend and I were just blown away by the juiciness and freshness of everything we devoured. We literally drove up from the South Bay just to try this place out in person (rather than through an event). Coming from LA, we have a ton of Persian restaurants. Nami-No is top-notch and puts a lot of them to shame. The koobideh is properly offered with a mix of lamb and beef, the chicken was grilled to perfection. Breast pieces, juicy, filled with a flavorful bite. A small hole in the wall operation ran with skill and professionalism. This is a gem in Turlock because this cuisine, done right, is not easy to find. Amazing is all I can say. The staff is so helpful and welcoming. It has easily become our family favorite and we enjoy coming here for date nights too. This is a family ran business that we need more of in the valley. They care about your experience. Cute interior with paintings on the wall and take out available too. A savory dish with a slight tang. Very balanced - Dolma both cabbage and grape leaf served with dill yogurt were equally wonderful. Each very distinct from one another. The flavor profile is complex and layered. - Lulah kabob served with roasted peppers, purple onion, herbs, and roasted tomatoes. Went to eat there, been there before this time I was disappointed because the reason we go there is because it's as authentic as you'll get. This time I was disappointed. Instead of nan bread they had tortillas for me that I have every day with Mexican food no pita bread. Took away from the meal. I hope they have it next time. However, the fact that lavash bread and pita bread, essential staple of middle eastern cuisine, were replaced with over toasted tortillas! Grilled tomatoes were also missing.
