This can basically render printers permanently useless. An HP trick to get customers to buy their more expensive ink cartridges. He suggested that we return all cartridges for a full refund immediately. We had to purchase a new printer. Scott was extremely helpful, patient and kind. Never tried to sell us anything. Unfortunately, the hard drive was not salvageable, but Nate gave me additional options for possible retrieval. I did have them install a new SSD to replace the old disc drive. I didn't know what to do the day my computer fizzled out because I was in the middle of my work day…read more& didn't know what was wrong or who to contact. Lucky for me, Google brought Steve's company up and because he had such a good rating, I gave him a call. Steve thought the new motherboard would take a week to order/arrive but it was here in 4 days & he came over the day he got it and got my PC back up and running! His labor was $180 (2 hours/2 trips to my house) & the motherboard was $100. That was a small price to pay for him to be able to save all the work, photos, music, movies I had on my hard drive! If you ever think your computer has burned out & died, call Steve before buying a new one and starting everything (re-installing everything & re-doing tons of work) over.
