Took my laptop on a plane to California. Took it out to see it got beat up in the overhead bins and was rattling and the Cd drive wasn't opening correctly. Shortly after,my computer ended up with a virus. A friend recommended this place so I called. He said they had coupon right now for virus removal. $105 to not only remove the virus and put new antivirus software but to backup all your files too! Walked in on a Thursday around Noon (right before 4th of July weekend) and he fixed the rattling issue and said he would have it back to me the next day! I was banking on it being at least after the holiday weekend. Sure enough, they called me the next day and everything was done. A 1 day turnaround is pretty spectacular in my opinion. Unbelievable to find the service and comfort one gets from Jim. Jim offered several different solutions and took the extra time to try and figure out what my end goal was. I hate to admit this, but, I used Computers Made EZ several years ago. I had no issue or problems with their service or price. I tried 3 other service providers because of availability, location, recommendations, etc. I only used these providers once and was never happy with the results. After the last, very costly bid, I thought I would make the effort to go to Jim. He repaired by laptop for about 25% of the bid I got elsewhere! But, that is not what is impressive. Jim cleaned, explained, and added functions that I can understand and are useful. He is the most helpful computer guy I know. I feel understood, relieved, and confident with him on my side. Jim (and his employees) have worked on my laptop and desktops with great success. They have gone beyond what they had to do...helping me with certain websites that don't work properly. They have given great recommendations for my machines and are honest about charges (often UNDER charging). The only downside is that pulling off/on to HWY 99E is the pits.
