This place is HORRIBLY managed! The food is great, but their habit of not answering the phone during busy times in NOT how a good deli handles that situation. Call between 12:15 and 1:15 daily and they refuse to answer the phone to take orders. There are plenty of other good choices in Hunt Valley. Too bad because their food is great. read more

I will miss this place, and I will miss the way the gentleman would musically say "Taneytown" when arriving to make a delivery. Stopping in at the deli for a bite was also a very nice experience. It was okay, but the people working there are not super accommodating. They told me it was too late to order coffee, even though it would have been simple to brew a cup for me, the drip coffee maker was sitting right there. It seemed to me that they are more friendly to males. read more

I rushed home and tore into that bowl like a grizzly bear! It was very delicious. The only very small gripe I had about the meal was the lettuce. Romaine lettuce was used instead of iceberg lettuce. There were a bit of romaine chunks that threw me off, but other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the salad. I forgot to snap a picture, but took a snapshot of my demolished meal. Nothing was left behind. If you're near Hampton for lunch, check them out! The next sandwich I have my eye on is the Rueben.
